“I never thought it possible to feel an attraction for anyone.”

I’m an artist and I have a new contract with The Golden Gallery. I’ve got best friends who get me and my jokes and a family who supports and loves me. What more could I possibly want or need? I have it all except, I just don’t know what it means to be in love. I’ve never experienced it nor been attracted to anyone in my life. I don’t think it’s a bad thing and despite the fact that most people prefer to slot me into the ace spectrum, I don’t necessarily see myself in that category. I am happy the way I am, content even or at least, I tell myself that, shoving away the idea that there’s something wrong with me.

“I never thought I’d ever be attracted to a man.”

You probably know me as the Billionaire Playboy. I come from generations of old money and started my first business venture at age nineteen. The Golden Gallery was my baby and I watched it grow into a huge success all over the world. The first time I set eyes on Xavier Fernando, my world was rocked and turned upside down. I couldn’t get him out of my mind and I tried to write it off as being impressed by his genius skills as an artist. It worked too until we bumped into each other again, literally, and the same heady feeling came over me. In an attempt to understand why I was feeling this way, I decided to get closer to Xavier, and to know the man behind the art.

Review: I have read many paranormal stories that this author has written but never a contemporary. So I was wanting to know what her writing would be like on this side of the coin. However I am not really sure what to say.

Xavier is a college student and an artist. He has had a showing at school and someone from a art gallery just happened to see his work. Talk about a shock to the system. He also doesn’t seem to date mch, that is till that perfect man shows up. Weird, because he never really was attracted to any one before.

Andre is the owner of the Golden Gallery and has found a new artist to show off. When he mets said artist, it is he who wants to show him off. His world has been rocked and by a guy no less. Things heat up, let it slide, and a second meeting has the same fire lit.

Now I am not one for a ladies man who has his head turned by a guy and then well you can guess. To cliche for me. This story was very dry, very drawn out and just didn’t keep my attention like it should have. Slow burn is not exactly covering it I guess. What is more, there is a cliffhanger. Which tells me this is one of the stories that is all about the same two characters, which is a little boring in my eyes. There is no spice up, but I guess we will have to wait and see what book two will be like.

As for right this moment, this book did nothing for me. Way to long, way to dragged out and just didn’t do anything but drag me along. Very, very slow moving plot is what you get with the story. Now as for the guys, well they are super cute and normal. The guys are definitely going to have to put on a show to get me going. This story just did not flow like it should have. The author shows that her knowledge of certain things were not researched properly. It had potential but was not executed right. To much extra stuffing added in to make the book so long as well.

This book does not make me want to read the second book, however as first books go, I will always see if the next book gets better. I just wished to be shaked up a bit more, but I wasn’t. To bad the guys were adorable. Now if only the title had some imagination used on it.
