Blurb: Thad Blackmoor’s heart is as cold as his icy magical abilities. He considers emotions a waste of his time and prefers to study the arcane, using the sacred books of his coven to grow in his craft. He aspires to supersede his father and elder brother Pierce in power, and now that his younger brother Mason has tapped into the rare warlock power of darkness, he needs to work harder than ever.

But Thad’s ambitions are halted when he saves Aiden Teine, a fire fairy, from a banshee. Thad’s immediate attraction to Aiden catches him off guard and thaws his cold heart for the first time. As Thad, Aiden, and his brothers investigate the connection between the banshee attack and the vampyre and shadow weaver who almost killed them, Thad tries to dodge Ben, a sexy warlock who won’t let him be after a one-night stand.

Their search leads them to the Otherworld, where something even more insidious is at work—something Thad will need more than logic to stand against.

Review: Thad Blackmoor is the eldest of the Blackmoor brothers, but he hasn’t felt important for a while. He always held his mother’s attention, but fought to gain his father’s, even more so as their family grew. When their mother died it affected Thad more than anyone in the family, aside from his father.

Thad buried his emotions long ago and concentrates on honing his skills so he can be not only the best Warlock, but the best Blackmoor as well. He steps outside of his comfort zone just a teensy bit when he meets a sexy Warlock at a local coffee shop. But it’s another chance encounter with a Fire Fae Prince that finally begins to melt the young Warlocks frozen heart.

It’s not exactly the best time to deal with matters of the heart though. Thad’s new found Fae friend is on the run from a couple of pissed of Banshees. And the shadow weaver that tried to annihilate the Blackmoor clan not so long ago seems to not only still be watching them, he has his sights set on one Blackmoor in particular, Thad.

The infamous council sends the Blackmoor brothers along with their new-found friends – sexy Warlock and Fire Fae Prince – and Drake, the youngest Blackmoor brother’s boyfriend, into Otherworld to defeat the shadow weaver. Secrets, lies and betrayal run deep as the six young men race to stop the weaver before he succeeds in finishing them off.

It’s always a treat when an Author can mix numerous magical creatures and their particular legends, keep everything straight and manage to keep me entertained throughout. The Warlock Brothers can add demons, Fae and one dark, overbearing jackass to the mix of weavers and Vampyre. And we still don’t know exactly what Drake is. He can’t be spelled, controlled or turned, but he doesn’t give off any vibes to any of the various beings that he might belong to their race.

As if fighting for your life while trying to protect the Gate and Otherworld weren’t enough to drive any one insane, Thad has to deal with his insane attraction to a certain red-headed Fae as well as the anger and jealousy pouring of the sexy – it was supposed to be a one night stand – Warlock. Staying focused is difficult, but one missed step could cost them all their lives.

I have to say, this series is very interesting, entertaining and intriguing. A lot of drama and angst mixed with passion and faith. I hope I’m not confusing you with my choice of words, but I don’t want to give certain aspects of the story away, you will have to grab a copy and read for yourself. Definitely worth the read, but read it in order, if you haven’t read Spellbound yet you should start there or you’ll be lost at certain times during this story.
