Review: Dara is closing ranks on Amos and his mates as he takes out those he sees as weak and unfit. He recruits others for his nefarious plans. I really enjoyed the history about who Bairr and his crew were but I was disappointed that their telling of why they had a connection to the Trawley’s and Collier’s was cut short.

Quite a few battles take place as a lot happens to different members of Hartlands pack as a result of rescuing and or protecting others. Those who were once enemies become allies when they are attacked and hurt. I love the way the series is going so far. The tense situations, action, sarcastic comments, and love all combine to make for a fantastic addition.

I am looking forward to reading more and seeing what happens next in this exciting series.

I have ready pretty much every book this author has came out with and am always amazed at her gift at giving an amazing story. This particular series is very unique and always keeps one on their toes. The characters are a blast to read about and damn if they are not feisty. My attention was caught from the first line and kept all the way to the end. It is the perfect length for me and I get a kick out of the guys. Sasha is about to meet his match.

Dante and his cousins had found a scroll that explained their crazy birthmark. It also told of a story full of hate and deceit from the bear shifter world. Believing in the story, the bears would kill all who had the mark. Dante is a feisty and argumentative young man who is a prima donna of drama. He has just found his mate, and if that man gives him one more order he was going to dye his eyebrows pink.

Sasha had always believed in the story so imagine his surprise when he finds out the truth. He has also found his mate, and damn if that man is not giving him hell. To bad many others believe the old ways, and keeping his mate safe is on the front line. Of course when his mate finds out he is pregnant with twins, he might want to run for cover.

I don’t really care for the way the bears attitude causes havoc but it sure is a blast to see Dante in a fit. I sure hope Charlie gets his story, I think that will be the one that will have me in tears. This story was a blast to read and I can’t wait to read the next book.

Review: Each Book in the Brac Village collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading them in sequential order. This particular story is connected to the Brac Pack, Zeus Pack, Christian’s Coven, Brac Pack Next Generation, and Demon Warriors. To enjoy this to get the full impact I would suggest starting with the Brac Pack series first.

Hiding out at the Sheriff’s house as the cute and loveable German Shepard was going so good for him. However the fact that he was a shifter and hiding from a demon might stand in the way. Max accidentally shifts in front of his mate and has a lot of back tracking to do with not only his mate but the sheriff.

Dillion was past annoyed. He always pet and scratched the sheriff’s dog not knowing that he was a shifter nor his mate. Hell he always threatened to steal him but now the mutt was his permanently. To bad his mate was more into deception then anything. That is until he finds out why.

I actually liked this quite a bit and enjoyed the characters. The story moved at an even pace and was full of action and excitement, not to mention some hot sexy times. I was glad to see Panahasi once more as well as his warriors. I also spent time laughing my ass off with most of it. I always liked a good story with humor in it, and this author gives that in spades.

Seth had been living on the streets trying to survive. That is until he was taken by vampires and turned into a blood slave. Then to be offered a chance at freedom, but it comes with a price. He was to kill another.

Theron figured it out and decided to help his mate out. There was the problem of someone trying to kill him and that there was a big threat inside their coven. They had a traitor to find.

I actually liked this one a bit more than the first two. It still has a dark tone to it and a lot of pain inside, but it also has a second chance and forgiveness. I found that my attention was actually kept with this story till the end. I will admit that for such a short story it does come off like a full size novel. This author sure does know how to give details in such a short read. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought and can’t wait to see what the next story has going on. I will also admit that this is not one of those types that will be read more than once.

This series is a cut off from Brac Pack and I would suggest starting with that series first. It is also connected with several other series as well.

Francis owed Haven so he heads over to cut some guys hair and damn if the man was walking sin. To bad he was trying to get that asshat of an ex out of his head, the damn man dumped him the night before. Then the sexy as sin shows up at his house shot up, well he was in for a big surprise. Cal has been raised to run the business his grandfather had. To bad for the old fart, he had no interest running weapons. He just wanted to run the normal, every day, legal side of the business. When his normal hair stylist couldn’t make it, he couldn’t believe it when his mate walks in instead. He had no clue how to keep them both safe and just wait for the surprise to show up.

It pretty much followed a direct path as the other stories in this series had. Humor, ok lets face it they are funny as hell, danger, excitement, action packed and not to mention some hot sexy times are all rolled into this story. The characters are quite quirky and will definitely have your head in the clouds. The down side is it felt a little rushed to me. It was very entertaining as one would expect in Lynn Hagen’s books.

I had a blast reading this and can guarantee that it will be read many times over. I can’t wait to see what the next book has going on.

Stalker met his mate around three years ago but let him go. That did not mean he forgot . In fact he basically stalked his mate and kept watch. Jojo had been forced to get married. He wanted to go with Stalker but there was his child on the way. When Myra died in child birth, he just couldn’t make a move. However when his father made another threat, his ass was out. Stalker is going to be a dad.

It is so hard to give a bit of description without giving the story away. Stormy Glenn has always been one of my favorite authors to read. This is probably one of my top series that I can guarantee will always be read many times over. FYI, Bob is still my favorite character. The story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I do wish there was a bit more action and danger to it, but it was still perfect for me. The characters are quite charming and lets just say their reaction to who the alpha is, is always a laugh. When I read these stories it almost makes me go out an buy a cat, I did say almost. Taking a cat for a walk at the park is always funny as hell.

I can honestly say that this story will be read many times over and I hope that it will always be that way. I had a blast reading this and damn the guys are just sexy. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book and would recommend reading the whole series.

I loved everything about this fast paced, action packed story. It was tense and had me on the edge of my seat until the very end.

Henry is a sweet bunny shifter whose life is about to be turned nutty. His older brother, who I might add is an ass, is a controlling, egotistical and selfish man is up to know good. He wants to rub it into people’s faces that he has more money than god. He has also sold his brother. Then they show up at a hotel ran by the sexiest of men. One has caught the little cuties eye and he might just loose his virgin status.

Morgan is a brother who has to keep control over certain things. The hotel is finally doing good but his heart is still torn. His little brother is still in a feral state and hardly ever comes out of his room. That is until it is night and he just runs around the hotel in bear form. Then in walks a cutie and his heart might just be his. However Henry’s brother is another matter. Trouble always seems to show up and Morgan is going to protect his mate.

These stories are sweet and funny as hell but it is also missing something. They come off rushed and a bit jumbled. The main thing I find wrong is the way the guys act. They are bear shifters but you couldn’t tell it. For one they can’t scent others as well they don’t know their mates till after sex. They don’t shift unless they are showing their mates and that is just comes off weird. Other than those issues the story is quite enjoyable and can keep you entertained for awhile.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to see what the next book has going with it. I will say that Gus is still my favorite and I hope his story is coming up. Although even with him there were questions that were not answered.

Shane has a reputation of being a player but truthfully he is just a flirt. His brothers just don’t give him an inch. He however does go with the flow and slows down with it. That is until the new sexy handyman walks in the door. However it would seem Kieran has a few secrets himself. Shane is a bear shifter where as Kieran is a vampire. Two mates that just seem to be perfect for each other.

There is a few issues with the story that are sticking out to me. One of them is there were a few words missing in some of the sentences but it was still easy to follow. Also the story felt rushed and a bit choppy to me. I think the main question I had is that bear shifters have an amazing nose and could scent a mile away. However these guys don’t seem to be able to do that. For one they should have known that Kieran was a vampire but they don’t. Also what is Gus, the questions I have.

Other than that the story was pretty amazing. I got a kick out of Gus as always. The story had a serious tone to it but there was so much humor in it that it just made the story stand out. I love that about these stories. The characters were a big hit as well as the story.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on it. I can guarantee that it will be read many times over.

Haus has an angel on his shoulders and is glad for it. Kevin seems to call him and get him out of danger each time. The only problem is he has no clue who the hell the guy is or how he is doing it. The guy is even better than Charlie and that is saying something.

Kevin is a damn good soldier but now he worked for Homeland Security looking for terrorist. Give the man a computer and he can find anyone and everyone. A few years ago Haus saved his life and he has decided to pay him back in fold. Or that was the way it started at first, now the man had his attention in different ways. When Kevin is kidnapped it is up to Haus and his guys to help him out. Maybe it was time to meet.

This has always been one of my favorite series out there. I always look forward to them coming out. The characters are always fascinating and lets face it, men with guns are a total turn on. Their cases or problems that seem to come at them are so well thought out that it feels like you are right there with them. This story caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I can guarantee that this book will be read many times over.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I would definitely recommend it and the previous books.

Mordechai talks Manny into taking in a roommate but he has a few issues with that. He likes his solitude and peace. He also likes his home clean and that was not what he got in the morning. It seems his roommate was just trying to fix something to eat and fell a sleep. It was a good thing his new roommate turned out to be his mate otherwise he would have sent his ass packing.

Nick’s parents were killed, his little brother was hooked up with a sexy man and his uncle was a drunk. He remembered when the man was a blessing but something happened and now all he did was drink. The aunt seemed to be of no help to them either. Now he was basically pawned off on another. No clue that they are mates until his little brother mentions it leaves him a bit off. However when someone breaks in and almost kills him, he is going to be glad for that mate.

I tried to figure out why the killer’s focus changed and what Mattias was up to however never really figured it out. The story felt really rushed and a few problems arise, however it is still a good story. I love how this author’s work always has humor mixed in with her stories. Makes for more of an interesting read. It did however still leave me with a few questions. I did like the idea of Nick using frying pan’s as weapons.

I do wish the author would tell us a bit more about the mothers problems and espionage. That sounds like it would be a great add in. Other than that it was a good read and I did enjoy it.

I loved everything about this story. The Warrior’s get help from a surprising source who has people undercover in the drug cartel. The baddies all get whats coming to them in the end.

George is a big ass bear shifter who is seen as an alpha but feels that he is more like an omega. That is until he is protecting his mate. He has just won the big lottery that many wish they won, but in his heart he knew it would bring trouble to his door. His parents and old alpha basically treated him like trash and wasn’t allowed to enter another clan. Many alpha’s felt that he would challenge for their position never believing him when he told them that he never wanted that. An old military buddy of his uncle’s sent someone to protect him, he just hadn’t expected that man to be his mate.

Leon knew about shifters but was as human as one could be. He knew that from one look that he was going to fall hard for the sexy shifter he was going to protect. He just had not expected to be mated to the man after one hot night. He also knew he would protect the man with all he had in him. That much money brought all the nut cases straight into their path, but Leon was up to protecting his mate.

This series is a bit different than many of Stormy’s other books. It is a sweet romance where the big ass bear shifter has a heart of gold. To figure out what to do or how to act after winning the lottery is pretty much up in the air for me, but they seem to figure it out. In bear shifter clan’s they do not mate human’s but George does just that. He will also protect with a fierceness of a bear shifter. However in reality he is a gentle giant and sweet as can be. Although the alpha really needs to grow some when it comes to his family matters.

The writing comes off pretty good but it also seemed just a bit jumbled. Other than that issue I really enjoyed reading it and can guarantee that it will be read many times over. I loved the characters but Leon just didn’t hit any buttons with me. I will admit that George was the big hit with me and I can’t wait to see how he is in future books, or I hope I will. I had quite a bit of fun with it and look forward to the next story.

Dexter has a successful business, grooming pets. He owns his home, a plot of land by the lake, great family but the only thing he was missing was a man to come home to. The thing is, it just didn’t seem to matter with him. Then one emergency call and he finds himself the attention of twins.

Rocco and Dante have taken over their late uncle’s home and business. After find three cute kittens who had a little accident with some oil, they call in for some help. They had not expected the sexiest man to show up. And damn if they both didn’t know what to do but fall in love.

There is nothing more sexy then three men falling in love. They are the sweetest threesome you could come across. The problem was I didn’t see it. It came hard and fast, and it just felt off. The story just didn’t really catch my attention like it should have. It was cute and very sweet, the kittens were a great addition. I am not normally a fan of threesomes or even the brother part but it is still a cute story.

Other than my problems with the story it was an enjoyable read. I am afraid that this is not one of those books or series that will be read more than once. I will however keep my eye out for the next story.

Bears and honey are a mix made in heaven. Owen has not had the best of luck when it comes to jobs so after his disaster at the diner, well he called the number his old boss gave him. He didn’t really know much about cleaning a hotel room but damn if he wasn’t going to give it the old college try. New job with free rent what more could a guy ask for. Well the sexy man at the front desk. Haunted hotel, grumpy owners, crazy workers and it was going to be one interesting place to work.

Caleb is at the end of his rope. The hotel was going downhill, someone was screwing around with the property, and he wanted the sexy new housekeeper. All he has to do is to figure it all out. What is a bear shifter to do.

I saw a few issues with the story that drove me nutty. One of them was the fact that they were bear shifters but the only time you see it is after our sexy character started to run from Caleb. Other than that the story pretty much rocked. The characters were a hoot to read about and Gus was the winner in this series. I loved the EMF that Gus bought to search for ghosts. That kept me laughing. In fact that this series has a serious tone to it but it has an amazing amount of humor in it. That is one of the reasons this author is such a hit with me. I love reading a book that is going to have me in stitches.

This story was a blast to read and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I can guarantee that it will be one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Jimmy is a simple man who loves what he does. He is an accountant that works from home, not getting rich but who does these days. He is also a leopard shifter and the only thing he is missing is a mate.

Ethan has not only noticed Jimmy but wanted the little man. Thing do not go smoothly for these two but Ethan knows he can find away. To bad someone is trying to get his mate but it is not the same one killing the humans.

I had a bit harder time with this particular book. In all the others shifters and vampires knew their mates by scent, however in this book that is not the case. Or right off the bat anyway, they around each other and neither knows till a little later on. This story didn’t come off the way it should have and I couldn’t pin point the problem with it. It just felt a little harsher and didn’t flow the way it should have. That isn’t to say that it wasn’t a good book because I still got a kick out of it. I really got a kick out of Jimmy and his attitude.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to see what the next book has going on in it.

Review: Hunter was pretty much driven from his home what with his father’s drinking. He never really wanted to go back, that is until his dad passed on. To bad he came back to a pack that was getting ready to loose it all. He took a deal with the devil for help, but in turn it meant he had to mate an enemy of the pack. He was to mate a vampire.

Aeron’s life was pretty much like Hunters, but his was his mother. His mother was an addict and it cost her her future. He had given up everything to have his mother in a care home and it meant he owed his leader. He just hadn’t expected to find out that he was to be bargained off to an wolf.

Neither are going to expect what they find out. I am never a fan of stories that give you a good book only to find out that it is just going to be that one book. This story had so much potential to be a series and it isn’t going to be. I felt a little let down with it. I did like Aeron quite a bit and his attitude has always been great. Hunter was an ass to the poor guy but was glad to see that it changed. However that being said, it moved faster than I thought it should have. Then the action was like one page and it was over.

The story needed more depth to it to make it truly rock. More substance in it to make it a top story. It came off very rushed and that was another let down. This story was damn good but it could have been better. However I can see myself reading it once more.

Review: Each Book in the Brac Village collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading them in sequential order. This particular story is connected to the Brac Pack, Zeus Pack, Christian’s Coven, Brac Pack Next Generation, and Demon Warriors. To enjoy this to get the full impact I would suggest starting with the Brac Pack series first.

Newton has no clue what is going on and who is breaking in, but he does the one thing he knows should help. He calls the police and then hides. He had not expected the sexy man in front of him that is after he is coaxed out of the closet. When the sexy sheriff’s decides to bring him home with him, things might be looking up.

Now how does a scared closet hiding Newt think that he is going to take on a wolf shifter to help his mate is beyond me. I actually found myself liking this quite a bit more than the previous books that I have read today. I really liked Newt and the sheriff was quite hot. With this story you get excitement, danger, action, chaos, hot sexy times and quite a bit more.

I enjoyed reading this story and am intrigued to see what the next book has coming.

Seth has met his mate, loved his mate then abandoned by him. It would seem that Seth being a wolf shifter was to much for the big bad hunter. Then when he almost got a friend killed because of his anger, he just wanted to be off the grid. To bad his brother wouldn’t let him. But he had not expected the cute vampire who was bloody to not only be on his step but to be another mate. Not that the ass believed the man, he had no clue what he was in for.

Roman was not only a human but a hunter who hated most paranormals, or so he used to in the past. He was getting over it but to find out that the man he slept with was his mate was a bit of a difficult thing to get over. However he wanted to make up for it. So imagine his surprise to find out about Casey.

Casey was a vampire sent on a mission to deliver a message. He had not expected to get beat up by others nor had he expected to wake up to a mate. Not that the man believed him. Casey was a sweet soul who just wanted his mate. When danger showed up and Casey is placed in danger, guess who shows up to help him.

I am not normally a fan of threesomes but Stormy always has me changing my mind. Out of all the characters I must say that Casey is the one I liked the most. He is just a cutie. However I did understand Seth’s pain as well. These three together is one hot sexy time. Danger, excitement and so much more is what you get with this story. And let me tell you that I had to finish the whole book in one sitting. I can guarantee that this is one of those books that will be read more than once.

I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to read the next one. I would definitely recommend this book and the ones before it.

Crow and Tarq has been sniffing around each other for awhile now but mostly spend their time snarling. When a robbery at the casino ends in Crow being badly injured, it looks like nothing is ever going to go their way. It would take a great big power to get Crow to even attempt to try to get better. So he calls in the big guns, you know who I am talking about. Slinky tops, short shorts that show the butt cheeks and high boots while dancing at the top of their lungs is Jesse’s speciality. Tarq is going to make sure Crow gets better or get killed doing it.

I am always glad to see Jesse and the gang getting together. Their stunts always make for a better story. I felt bad for Crow but I am afraid he came off a bit weaker than expected, even after getting shot. There was just something about him that didn’t ring right, but didn’t really take away from the story. I like how Tarq did everything he could to help the one he loved. As always this story was a blast of fun and laughs.

I had a blast reading this and can not wait to get my hands on the next story. I can guarantee that it will be one of those stories that will be read more than once.
