Blurb: Patrick wouldn’t say that the last thing he’s expecting while walking his dog is to run into his ex-partner — he did move to Jasper’s favorite town, after all — but it’s still a shock to the system. Maybe even more so when they end up on a coffee date. Patrick’s disabilities, caused by the accident that took him out of the Army, combined with Jasper’s lingering resentment over the secrecy that eventually broke them up, make for a rocky first date. Is practice enough to make perfect this time?

Review: Well… damn! Talk about a quick read to rip your heart out and you shall get it. Jeez, I’m still a bit sad over this read, even as it ended well the happiness came hand in hand with the sadness and leaving a weird blend of emotions in its wake.

So the blurb says more than enough. I only want to add that for such a short read both characters had a great appeal for me. I was drawn to them, Patrick because he makes you want to hold and love him, and Jasper because he’s so freaking cool, and toward the end there he was also so freaking erotic that makes you wanna jump his bones.

Lovely writing, well set flashbacks, and a great story. Yeah, if you’re looking for a read with a full range of emotions this is it. Recommended!
