A drunk clown rolling around in the gutter is not what David Wright expects to find as he walks to With A Kick, his favorite ice-cream shop. David has had a lousy day. A literary agent has crushed his dreams and all he wants is the consolation of alcoholic ice cream. He’s about to walk away when he realizes the clown has been dumped by his boyfriend.

On a whim, David takes the clown into With a Kick before he gets arrested. Underneath the smeared make-up, he meets Stan, who has just found his boyfriend and best friend getting more than friendly.

Over ice cream, David and Stan discuss their problems and discover maybe they can help each other.

Review: David is an aspiring author who just wanted his crime novel published. After talking to one publisher, he was ready to throw in the rug. Deciding to go get ice cream, he finds a very drunk clown.

Stan is a clown, who goes to children’s parties and cheers them up. After one such gig, he came home to find his now ex-boy friend and best friend screwing in their bed. Now they both just need a little cheering up, some ice cream and some hot sex.

This is a cute little story that was a blast to read. I mean I felt bad about their bit of pain, but instead I found myself laughing my ass off. These two are just so perfect together. Stan is a gorgeous young man, who has one hell of a quirky attitude that usually one would just want to shoot. Shoot in a good way, because you can’t help but love him.

As for David, he is just downright adorable and it turns out that he has just a bit of kink to him. He likes the bossiness from Stan.

Once these two get together, you can just see the heat coming off of them. I had such a blast reading this, even though it was missing something major for me to love. I can’t wait to see what other stories Sue has written. There is just a flare to this story that will draw you in. The title itself is a kick. I think it was the title that actually caught my attention from the start.

I would recommend reading this story. I think you will have a blast with it also.
