Blurb: Orphan Hunter Landon craves a family who will love him unconditionally. When he’s adopted by the Knights, an organization dedicated to destroying shifters, Hunter is grateful, but their ideology never sits right. Finally, on a rite of passage during which he’s supposed to kill his first shifter, Hunter discovers the truth: he meets Glenn Lightfoot, a deer shifter, and asks a lot of questions.

Glenn hates the Knights and worries about the safety of his herd with one in their midst. After all, the Knights have hurt his family before. On the other hand, this is his chance to convert an enemy, and some instinct tells him Hunter won’t betray him.

Soon Hunter sees the Knights for the monsters they are. When his time is up, he leaves the herd to protect Glenn. But Glenn is determined not to lose the man he has come to love and respect to the Knights’ cruel campaign.

Review: Shitfire and Holy Hell! Started out a little slow, but got faster paced and continued to build in pace, then BOOM! Left you wanting to strangle the author (but only because I now have to wait for the next book) and now I am left with one question; where is number five in the series woman?? This book was done so wonderfully well and there was a slight resemblance to the mission of the Knights in this book as follows with the Paladins from the movie “Jumper” but just slight. I personally wanted to take Glenn in my own arms and ravage the man from head to toe. Deer shifter and Knight falling in love with one another, then in a twist from most stories, it is the Knight that needs rescuing by a deer. It was beautiful and totally unexpected. I hope you are hard at work on the next one because I am ready myself to see the Knights ripped apart finally and I want to know who their foul leader is. COME ON! HURRY!
