Blurb: Kai Huang is a romantic who dreams of finding the one, and living a happily-ever-after since being disowned by his parents. To top it off, Kai has been having strange, prophetic dreams, and all of them are about one man. One day he sees that man in the form of Darius at a party and he’s drawn like moth to a flame.

Darius (or Artaxerxes, as he is called) is a demon whose latest mission was to make sure this madman of a vampire stayed alive, although he failed. Guarded and untrusting, Darius has never been in a relationship, so when fate decides to bring them together, Darius is shocked to find out that Kai is his mate.

Not all is well, however, when Kai and his friends are attacked by a supernatural force during a party. While the answers they seek are uncertain, Kai’s dreams hold the key to solving the mystery, as well as changing his life forever.

Review: Each book in Into the New World collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. There is something about the way that Frey tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story. This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break. However, I must admit that it is a bit harder to truly get an understanding of it.

Kai was a human who saw things in his dreams. He had been dreaming of a sexy man, but he only saw him from the backside. He was friends with many of the paranormal world, even if he didn’t truly know it. He was a gentle young man, whose family disowned him when he was gay.

Now here he stands with his friends, and his eyes are on one big man standing across the room. He was turned on, but didn’t know if he should approach or not. He was known for sleeping with others, but I am not too sure about that. In one part of the story, it came across as if he had not been breached. So I am not too sure about that part. However when he looks at Darius, he is looking for the future.

Darius is looking at his mate. He knows a bit about Kai, but would love to know more about him. Now if only he would get off his ass and approach the young man. He knows that he will have to tell the man what he is, but until then they have many things to learn about each other.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the others in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Frey puts out a book, I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a bit of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me almost everything I could want in a book.

I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving, and having fun.
