Review:  I was really looking forward to reading this book as it seemed to fall into my favorite genre unfortunately it was not paranormal *sigh* but it is historical and fantasy so I am still happy.

Prince Albert is suspicious and cautious, he knows he is a disappointment to his father, he knows also that he doesn’t match up to his cousin’s hunting and sporting achievements. John Manning is charged with getting the Prince to a certain location, but he starts to feel sorry and then attraction for the young Prince and doesn’t know if he can go through with his orders. The two share secrets and the Prince feels betrayed.

I felt sorry for these two as they are both in a position that there is no way out of, but both are willing to sacrifice themselves for the other. This is a sweet, nice light read and hopefully we will see more from Prince Albert and Manning.
