Review: Every time I read a book by Andrew Grey I gush about how awesome he is, so I’m not about to go into my usual spiel. Suffice to say, if you’ve never read an Andrew Grey book – you’re missing out. For fans of Grey’s work you will love the third installment of the Rekindled Flame series, Smoldering Flame. This can be read as a standalone book or in order with the other books of the series. Although we do see characters from previous two books, as well as characters Grey’s series The Bullriders it is not vital to have read any of these characters’ books.

The narration for the audio of this series is done by Michael Pauley who has a tone that is just fitting for all the characters. Listening to Pauley’s narration was a pleasure and utterly enjoyable.
In Smoldering Flame, professional photographer Marco meets firefighter Dean and Dean’s very sick son, Sammy (yes, Supernatural fans, I thought the same thing) when they walk into Marco’s studio.

Marco impulsively does a photoshoot of the boy with a toy dalmatian in the studio. Sammy has cancer and at the point where Dean walks into Marco’s studio with his son, Sammy is at one of the worst points of his illness. Marco connects with both Sammy and Dean. There is an instant spark of attraction between the two guys, and he connects with Sammy even more quickly because Marco’s childhood was similar to the sick child’s. However, after the photo shoot, Marco doesn’t see the two charming guys for six months which then follows into what is ultimately a sweet and charming story of Marco and Dean trying to knit their lives together and navigate their attraction. Dean is trying his best to make sure that Sammy doesn’t get hurt and for Marco he has to deal with the baggage of a childhood of loneliness.

Childhood cancer and a single parent is a common theme in Grey’s work. However, the man does these story lines so divine it does not get stale for me. Every kid has a different personality and it is just wonderful to see something so sweet come out of a desperate situation. The kid, like the parent who is a main character, has a well-developed two-dimensional character. Sometimes I even shed the odd tear or two!

Blurb: It could be the catch of a lifetime.

William Westmoreland escapes his unfulfilling Rhode Island existence by traveling to Florida twice a year and chartering Mike Jansen’s fishing boat to take him out on the Gulf. The crystal-blue water and tropical scenery isn’t the only view William enjoys, but he’s never made his move. A vacation romance just isn’t on his horizon.

Mike started his Apalachicola charter fishing service as a way to care for his daughter and mother, putting their safety and security ahead of the needs of his own heart. Denying his attraction becomes harder with each of William’s visits.

William and Mike’s latest fishing excursion starts with a beautiful day, but a hurricane’s erratic course changes everything, stranding William. As the wind and rain rage outside, the passion the two men have been trying to resist for years crashes over them. In the storm’s wake, it leaves both men yearning to prolong what they have found. But real life pulls William back to his obligations.

Can they find a way to reduce the distance between them and discover a place where their souls can meet? The journey will require rough sailing, but the bright future at the end might be worth the choppy seas.

Review: I will listen to or read anything by Andrew Grey, his stories make me laugh and/or make me cry and always have a whole lot of heart. All his characters are realistic with very human flaws and it’s always a pleasure to read and see them develop throughout the course of a story. To put it simply, he embraces the everyday differences, not everyone is perfect and that is the attraction. That being said, while I loved Setting the Hook, it wasn’t my favorite book by Grey. However, since I rate them all so highly, this is still pretty damn good. I enjoyed it from start to finish, devouring every single word hungrily.

William Westmoreland books the same fishing charter in Florida twice a year. He needs to get away from the hustle and bustle and the stress that comes from his life in Rhode Island. His parents – who at first are very unreasonable people with stupid high expectations – practically rule his life because of his devotion to the family business and always wanting to make them happy. He loves Mike Jansen’s fishing charter because it is the place he feel he can relax and be himself, at least for a little bit, while enjoying the beauty of being out on the water. He’s definitely attracted to Mike but not about to make any moves.

Mike on the other hand is a very stoic character. He supports his mother and daughter, not allowing any room for being himself – he fears that stepping out of the closet would ruin him. (Seriously, William’s father gives him some awesome advice to put things into perspective regarding this).

For me it is the narration that makes all the difference and makes me need to give this book a 5 star review. I’ve not heard an audio by Tremblay that I do not like and this was no different. Greg Tremblay does an absolute fantastic job, particularly of the tone and voice he gives to the character of William. He gives whole lot of feeling to the story, which I think I missed when I read the ebook of when Setting the Hook was first released.

Review: Heart Unheard is a wonderfully written book by Andrew Grey, the second in the Hearts Entwined series. Heart Unheard is everything that I have come to expect from Grey’s books. Each and every one of Grey’s books are a must read for me. This is a slow burn, sweet romance that is totally relatable with characters who are perfectly flawed. One thing that I really love about this series is that one half of the featured couple has some sort of physical disability, once again lending towards my thought that all the heroes are perfectly flawed.

Heart Unheard is about Brent and Scott, Brent is the manager of the garage where he and Scott work. They’ve been attracted to each other for years, however, Brent has worried over the fact that he’s Scott’s boss and that he is older.

All that changes when fate steps in. Scott is injured in a car accident. He is lucky to be alive, getting away with only a brain injury that has caused Scott to become deaf. This brings Brent to his senses and what follows is a wonderful little romance of two ordinary guys dealing with a less than ideal situation. Scott is a survivor and he needs to learn that even though he doesn’t see himself as whole anymore, Brent doesn’t want to lose his chance for a happily ever after.

As I said, this is a sweet romance, there is plenty of emotion and love without the need for melodrama or unnecessary angst. I’m not a fan of books that make a song and dance out of age gaps (to me 10 years or less is not a big deal) and that is just another thing for me to like about this book. My only criticism I have of this book is that sometimes I thought the pace dropped off a little and I found my attention wandering.

I enjoyed getting to see James and Trevor from book 1, Heart Unseen, since Trevor is Brent’s boss (the garage owner). I look forward to the third book in the series, Heart Untouched which is out in October though, from what I saw in the blurb, I’m not sure if there will be any links to Trevor, James, Scott or Brent.

Blurb: Life has been grinding Dayne Mills down for almost as long as he can remember. First, he lost the love of his life in an accident that also left him with a permanent injury, and then his mother passed away a year later. When his house burns to the ground, it’s the last straw. He can’t take any more, and if it wasn’t for kind and handsome firefighter Lawson Martin offering him a hand up and a place to stay, he doesn’t know what he’d do. Dayne would love for his relationship with Lawson to evolve into something beyond charity, but he knows going after a man so far out of his league will only lead to yet more heartache. It’s best to just keep his mind on his research.

It’s that research that leads Dayne to an old student journal that not only provides clues to the Native American heritage Lawson has been searching for, but chronicles a century-old love story. The tale that unfolds might be just what Dayne and Lawson need to remind them that no matter how dark life becomes, love can find a way to shine through.

Review: This is one of those books where I went in expecting to love it. I love Andrew Grey’s writing: it is so easy for me to relate to his writing. I love how he does sweet romance is totally relatable, real life situations. I love he manages to make me both laugh and cry in the course of a single story. I knew I would enjoy this because I loved the first book, Rekindled Flame and quite frankly, I’ve already read all the books in the series. I’ve now just moved onto the audios because of my first point.

If you haven’t read or listened to book one, don’t worry, it’s not really a prerequisite. There is no overarching story line. However, I think it would be good to go back purely because we do get to see a glimpse of Morgan and Richard and it made me want to go back and reread Rekindled Flame.

As with book 1 of this series, the audio narration is by Michael Pauley, who is now edging towards the top of my list of excellent narrators. The tone he uses fits Grey’s writing perfectly and the voice he gives to the characters was exactly what I expected a few years ago when I first read the books.

The formula for Cleansing Flame is one fireman meets a broken man (both physically and mentally), meets him again at a fire when the broken man’s life goes up in smoke, just to pile on the bad luck.

Here, Lawson is the fireman. He happens to meet Dayne, the broken man, when Lawson tries to do some research on his family history and Dayne is doing research for an assignment. Dayne has had a run of bad luck – a car accident killed the man he loved some years ago, his mother died the year before and only the same day he meets Lawson he loses the home that he and his mother had brought. On top of that, Dayne still has severe pain in his leg from the accident that killed his boyfriend. Now Dayne is determined to become a teacher, even if he feels a little odd for being, seemingly, the oldest guy at college.

Lawson becomes Dayne’s knight in shining armor. It is seriously sweet. The guys also have mutual friends – Morgan and Richard of book 1 – so it’s kind of expected that they would meet. Lawson proceeds to sweep Dayne off his feet and the guys get to know each other as they fall into a romance that makes you sigh happily.

Review: If you’ve read any of my previous reviews for Andrew Grey books – audio or written – you will know that Andrew Grey is one of my absolute favorite authors. In fact, Andrew Grey is only one of a couple authors who I automatically want to read/listen to anything he writes. I love his characters and his plots – you don’t need to suspend your disbelief for very long and his characters are so damn relatable it’s impossible not laugh or cry at some point in the story.

That’s one reason why I knew that I would love this book, for those of you who are suckers for books with firefighters and disabled heroes (because not all heroes are able and not all heroes wear capes. These guys are always stronger than they think they are and they are always a proper HEA with their own prince charming), this is also the book for you.

I looked forward to the voice that Michael Pauley would lend to the characters as he is a relatively unknown narrator for me. He was absolutely brilliant. Having previously read and loved this book I kinda had an idea what I wanted the characters to sound like, and although Pauley’s interpretation was a little different to what I expected the heart and soul was there and it was perfectly sweet.

The story follows firefighter, Morgan, and disabled ex-marine Richard. After saving Richard from a fire, Morgan realizes that the man is in fact the best friend from his childhood he had been upset about not seeing again when his father made them move to another city. But now the guys are back together and Richard is the center of a series of arson attacks. Morgan is ready to be his friend’s knight in shining armor, and now that they are men he is ready to take their friendship to a whole new level.

For fans of Andrew Grey, you will more than certainly recognize a few minor characters Morgan and Richard run into as couples from other books/series. I love little fan Easter eggs like that. The plot is probably predictable but the pace is pleasing, the characters are totally relatable and generally just pure joy to read.

Review: Andrew Grey is one of my all-time favorite authors and while The Best Worst Honeymoon Ever is not up there with my favorite books, it is a fun book. For me Andrew Grey + Romance + Cute Kid = Awesome book. And what’s more, for me, I love the fact that the kid in this story is nuts about Star Wars – clearly, I’m easy to please at times.

Everything you need to know is in the blurb so I’ll try not to be too repetitive or let go any spoilers. The story is quite simple really, but as I previously mentioned, the execution meant that this was a thoroughly enjoyable. The book itself is also well paced with solid character development.

The book opens with Tommy Gordon nervous for his wedding, but is bolstered by the presence of his best man and best friend, Grayson Philips, and Grayson’s incorrigible son, Petey. And within moments Tommy’s world is crashing down around him. Luckily for him, Tommy has some wonderful people to help him, least of which is his bestie Grayson with Petey right behind. When Tommy plans to cancel his tropical honeymoon (which he hadn’t really wanted as much as he had wanted to go to Paris), Grayson convinces Tommy to go and have fun. Which leads to Grayson and Petey tagging along.

This is a fun and sexy story that turns friends to lovers, which has the family friendly element with the addition of the precocious Petey, who is more than happy for his dad to get with Uncle Tommy so that he can keep Uncle Tommy for real. Seriously, cute and sneaky kid. Petey also is a highlight when Tommy gathers the courage to properly face his ex that the three of can have a chance to become a family.

For fans of Andrew Grey and the Dreamspinner Press house line, Dreamspun Desire this is one to add to your list as, at least for me, it is everything that I expect from both.

Review: I love a good Andrew Grey book (to prove it, I have 18 books on Audible and all his books in ebook format), which is basically any book the man writes, and Stuck in Oz is no exception, so I’ll keep this to the point. Grey is brilliant at writing heartfelt stories, that of course include a beautiful romance, that is gentle, relatable and believable. His characters are down to earth, and everything just works. He also tends to add children into the story which takes heartwarming to a whole new level,

Narration for this story was done by Rusty Topsfield. He has narrated as number of the Dreamspun Desire imprint that I could basically eat up for breakfast if it was a foodstuff. I really liked Topsfield’s voice and the tone that he lent to the character. He nailed the performance in for the entire Tales from Kansas series.

Trapped in Oz is the third and final book in the Trapped in Oz series, and it is honestly just as excellent and enjoyable as the first two. One of the best part of this series in general that these aren’t cookie cutter plots – all the same with different characters and slightly different plot line. The stories are very different and generally just wonderful with incredibly sweet stories and relatable characters.

Tapped in Oz is the romance between Martin and Gary. Martin finds himself quite suddenly in need of a place to stay. His parents are selling the family home and moving away, which leaves Martin in a spot of desperation. Gary is basically the answer to Martin’s prayers. Martin is struggling, his family have disowned him, he needs to make more money to maintain upkeep on his house. The two guys hit it off and they have some incredible chemistry. However, the problem is that both Martin and Gary need to come to terms with who they are and where they are in their lives before making their relationship a forever thing. Gary has done a lot more growing than Martin off page before the two met, but it was great to see how both characters grow and develop before coming to the inevitable HEA,

This is an unmissable Andrew Grey book that I can’t recommend strongly enough.

Stuck in Oz starts off with Lyle Powers being transferred, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, to his company’s main warehouse in Kansas. Lyle thinks, that even though he is taking up an incredible professional opportunity, he doesn’t move with the expectation that he’ll also find a HEA in her personal life as well. He meets Roger Kypers, who has his own set of issues – he’s a recovering alcoholic and has a 12 year girl he only gets to see for part of the summer holidays. Their relationship starts out really sweet and unsure as Roger shows Lyle the Wizard of Oz themed landmarks around town.

This book is one of the few where Grey casts the mother of the child central to the couple in the Wicked Witch of The West (pun fully intended) but it works really well and didn’t take from my enjoyment of the book. In fact, the motivations were well outlined and not thrown in just for the sake of drama. This point of the book really helps drive the relationship and forces Roger to comes to terms with the man that he is and build a family with his daughter and Lyle. (PS I really love Lyle, although both guys are relatable Lyle I found it so easy to connect with Lyle.

The story starts in heartbreak. In order to keep what is left of his little family together after their mother’s death, Jeremy is forced to sell the family home in San Diego and with nothing left for him and his baby brother Petey, he goes on a cross country expedition to find his only other living relative. Jeremy and Petey aren’t prepared for life – or weather – in Wamego, Kansas but Jeremy will do anything to keep his brother out of foster care. Arriving in Kansas during a snowstorm, he meets Nate who helps Jeremy find his Uncle Milt.

This book is mostly Jeremy’s story – he has to grow and come to realize that he doesn’t need to keep on running and that happiness won’t be taken away from him. After all, life has left him with a lot of insecurities. Only from there can the sweet, fledgling relationship between Jeremy and Nate become something more. On a side note, Uncle Milt is a wonderful secondary character.

Words cannot express, well more than I have without going on for much longer, how much I love Stuck in Love and how incredible heartwarming and sweet the romance is. In short, if you love Andrew Grey, read/listen to it. If you love a sweet, slow burn romance, read/listen to it.

Review: Each book in the Carlisle Deputies collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Judge Phillips and Deputy Clay have always butted heads and never really got along. So much so that one would think that they would kill each other if stuck in a room together for more than an hour. Then Andrew is threatened by a man he sent to prison and who had escaped. So Clay was sent in to protect him. To top it off his sister tried to kill herself and now he was stuck with two little ones on top of hiding out.

Clay has always thought that the Judge was hot but a pain in the ass. Now they were going to be stuck together twenty-four-seven. His job was to protect but it looks like thing might go in a different direction, at least for them.

I have always loved these type of stories and this author seems to be the best one out there. Adventure, excitement, fascination, hot sexy times, danger and so much more is what you will find in this book. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could want in a book and so much more. The characters were a blast to read about and I enjoyed their story. I would have loved to hear what would happen to the kids in the end, but it still ended perfectly.

I would definitely recommend this story and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.

They have a past, one that could cause problems in their careers.

But with Clay assigned to Andrew and the two of them together every minute, there’s nowhere to hide from their attraction—or from the fact that there’s much more than chemistry blooming between them. Review:  I have known about Andrew’s work for awhile now, but have never gotten around to reading one of his stories.  Usually I am quite leery of reading a book by an author I have not read before, but for once I am glad to have taken the chance.  Although there are parts that had me in tears, I enjoyed the humor that I found in it.  What made me chose to read this one was the fact that one of the guys had lost his long time partner and was given a second chance at love. Well that and the fact that there was a bit of excitement and danger added in.

Malcolm had been in love with his partner since the moment they had met, and then lost him to cancer.  After David had died, Malcolm was just going through the motions.  He had pretty much gave up on living his life.  That all ended when he helped a new client that made him stand up and take notice.

Hans is an amazing author who had a bit of trouble with the IRS.  His last accountant had screwed up and he just didn’t want to pay what they were saying he owed.  So he went to see a tax lawyer, and found a man that he wanted.  Now all he had to do is to show Malcolm that age is just a number.  Hans is patient, and understands what it is like to loose someone you love.   He is going to show him that love will win in the end.

This story has some tragedy in it, as well as danger, excitement and a bit of hot sex.  I really enjoyed reading this book, the details and descriptions were spot on.  It felt like I was right there with them going through it all.  I loved how even though there was a bit of pain in his life, Malcolm never really stopped trying.  I loved how Hans was with him through it all, and how Malcolm helped Hans with his own scare that was way to close to home.  I enjoyed watching their relationship build and grow stronger with each page.

I loved the little twists that this story gave me and the fact that I never knew what was going to happen next was perfect.  This was a very sweet, warm and tender story that caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.  It gave me everything I could ask for in a story and I would definitely recommend it.  I can’t wait to read the rest of this authors work.

Review: Jonah wants a break from his day to day life of acting when he receives word that he has inherited property. He decides to sell it as soon as possible. Upon arrival to the property he meets Luka, an immigrant that is the groundskeeper. Jonah learns that Luka has no where else to go and so decides to forgo selling the place.

As he gets to know Luka by working with him around the property the two grow closer. I loved Jonah and Luka. You have two very different cultures and mannerisms. Also the prejudices that both face. It was a story of learning and falling in love with someone you never saw coming.

Sweet and hot this story shows how love knows no bounds no matter the circumstances, heritage or country. Well written with two MC’s that get to know on another and throw caution to the wind in this cute story.

Great story.

Review: Four amazing stories with four couples, Dieter and Gerald, Brian and Nicolai, Frank and Leslie, Timothy and Joiner finding and protecting treasures that are precious to different men throughout the bundle. The different occupation of some of the men added a different perspective to each story as it unfolded.

I loved the history aspect and immersing myself in the mystery of each fascinating tale. There is also the romance between the couples as they meet. It was sweet yet hot.

All in all it was a well written look into the lives and loves of four couples who find each other when they need help.

Good read and well balanced.

Review: I love Andrew Grey’s Art series, so I was very much looking forward to the audio of this book. In fact, I think the first book in this series was one of the first Andrew Grey books I read after starting on his Love Means… series. I think I always say this, but I love how Andrew Grey takes ordinary guys – guys that are so relatable and spin a completely relatable and interesting story. There is no insta-love, the characters go through their struggles, in fact I love how we get to see the characters develop and actually get to know each other before thinking, “there might be something here”.
Legal Tender is the fourth book in Grey’s series and while you don’t need to be familiar with the three previous books, I recommend it because there is some overlap with the plot lines and there is also a pleasing appearance of some of our previous heroes. In fact, of the 3 previous books in the series, it is really books 1 and 2 which are most relevant.

Legal Tender follows shy guy Timothy and lawyer Joiner Carver. Timothy has not had the best life and upbringing. His mother is a drug addict, though she had not always been but her habit led to some major damage to Timothy’s psyche after he suffered a horrible trauma. The only love he had known in his life was from his grandfather, Tim called him Grampy, and his best friend as a child, Dieter (that’s right, that’s Dieter from book 1!). Part of Grampy’s legacy were some priceless coins, including a coin that could be confiscated by the US Government if Timothy ever reported that he possessed the object. It’s through Dieter and Dieter’s lawyer husband Gerald, that Timothy meets Joiner and Joiner is immediately on the case to help Timothy keep his grandfather’s legacy. Joiner is an ambitious lawyer, I think that has to be a given, but he is also sweet to a fault and has some fairly rigid morals.

There is an instant attraction between Joiner and Timothy, but Joiner is an honorable lawyer (shock horror, lol) and will not let anything risk his case, yet at the same time he will do anything for Timothy. I love how the plot forms and how Andrew Grey weaved together the threads to make a coherent case for Timothy’s legacy, as well as giving us a lot of sweet romance.

This story can be best described as a legal mystery story with a good dose of romance and sexy thrown in. John Solo is also one of my favorite audio narrators, so this audio was pure joy to read with the wonderful tone that Solo brings to the characters and to the story.

Blurb: Brian Watson knows close friends Gerald Young and Dieter Krumpf have an ulterior motive when they invite him to their Christmas party. Brian has taken over the case to secure the return of the famous painting called The Woman in Blue to Dieter, but they don’t want Brian to be all work and no play. They intend to set him up with a friend, but he’s not who catches Brian’s eye. Instead, it’s Nicolai, the deaf art restorer caring for the works already returned to Dieter.

But pursuing Nicolai won’t be easy. A year ago Nicolai had to fight to regain his independence after a bad break-up, and he’s reluctant to give up his freedom a second time. Plus, Brian has competition in Justin, Nicolai’s ex, who wants him back badly.

Nicolai’s reluctance isn’t the only roadblock. Brian was married to a woman for almost 10 years. There is no insta-love, the characters go through their struggles and I’m a bit of a sucker when he adds adorable kids and making big loving families by the end of the book.

Artistic Appeal is the second book in Grey’s series and while you don’t need to be familiar with book 1, I recommend it because the two characters who are the best friends in this book are the starring characters of book 1. It was great to revisit these great guys and also see their characters evolving.
However, Artistic Appeal is all about Brian and Nicolai.

Brian is a successful lawyer, working for Gerald from book 1. He is the lawyer that Gerald and his partner Dieter look to for to help and to take over the case of regaining Dieter’s family treasures in the form of artwork by a famous painter. As I said, there is some carry over in the plot of Gerald and Dieter in book 1 but knowing all the details aren’t necessary. Brian’s life is a little complicated by with an ex-wife demanding alimony, but the light of Brian’s life is most definitely his daughter Zoe, of whom he has full custody. While he knows he is gay and a select few friends know of his sexual orientation, he isn’t =out. His harpy ex-wife doesn’t know and his mother (who does have a major harpy vibe too) definitely don’t know at the beginning of the book. Brian’s life is shaken when he meets Nicolai and while dealing with challenges on the professional front, his personal life is suddenly more complicated.

Nicolai is a super sweet art restorer. He’s done work with Gerald in the past, but this is the first time he’s encountered Brian. I think I fell in love with his character immediately. Nicolai is also deaf and I have to admit that I have a soft spot with strong characters that live with a more or less permanent disability. Nicolai has been in an abusive relationship before, which makes him wary of the possibility of a new relationship, especially with a man who isn’t completely out of the closet.

I think it is Brian’s daughter Zoe who played a part in helping Nicolai and Brian together. Zoe is completely adorable and very accepting of Nicolai, even going as far as wanting to learn sign language before her father even gets there.

This is a super sweet yet sexy book. John Solo is also one of my favorite audio narrators, so this audio was pure joy to read with the wonderful tone that Solo brings to the characters and to the story.

Review: This series is a branch off from the Carlisle Cops series. So I would suggest reading those first, although it is not truly needed.

I will admit that the moment I saw that this was a branch off from Carlisle Cops, I knew that I had to get my hands on it. It is not only entertaining but it starts off with excitement. Judge Crawford has pissed someone off and now is in need of protection. So when Pierre takes the case, his first instincts are usually right. The Judge is getting threatening letters and Pierre is set to find out just who it might be. Although in his eyes this was going to be boring as hell. That is until he gets a sight of the Judge’s assistant, Jordan.

Jordan is a sexy young man who has had an amazing life. He had survived cancer, so when he saw Jeremiah, he knew he just wanted to be his dad. Jeremiah had been abandoned and had been dealing with cancer. Eight months in, he knows he will do anything for this little boy. When the Judge starts getting threatening letters, Jordan is set to help the deputy. That is until he finds something that might stop his world altogether. It would seem the Judge has some nasty secrets he has been keeping.

I have always read romances with a bit of suspense in them and never really gave any other type of book a look at. So when I started reading Andrew’s books, well lets just say it made a big impact in what I read these days. Friendships that strengthen and turn into love, plot twists, quite a bit of suspense, trouble along the way and some hot loving is just a bit of what you get with this story.

The way the mystery was written in was pretty direct and thought out. The story just seemed to flow perfectly and the romance was hot. The characters were a big hit with me and it was like you knew them from the beginning. My only issue was I wanted to see what would happen to the Judge, but guess the might have to wait till the next book. It is a very fascinating story that kept my attention from the start and kept me on the edge of my seat till the very end.

I had a lot of fun reading it and can not wait to get my hands on the next book.
