Review: Oh my god, this book was so fantastic. You have Cody, who is on the run from an unhinged Alpha wolf which he did not know exists. He then meets Derrick who is a protector of his kind after he is sent to retrieve Cody for the Alpha.

He has no intentions of taking the man back however as he discovers Cody is his mate. This was such a great story with a twist I never saw coming. Heartbreaking at times yet heart stopping at others.

This story packs a punch.

Loved, loved, and loved it.

Highly recommended.

Review: This story was a rollercoaster of emotions. John is desperately trying to live his life while at the same time letting go of his past which is a hard thing to do at times with a mother that constantly preaches at you. Benji was not what I expected. He was certainly what John needed to help him get past his hang ups.

I liked the overall story. At times I felt these two would not be able to overcome their struggles and just live. We all make mistakes and struggle from time to time. Best thing to do come to grips with the past and leave it in the past as you cannot change what’s already happened.

All in all it was a great read.

Blurb: One surly bear and one bunny boy…what could possibly go wrong?

Jagger Osterman is having a bad day. In fact, he’s not the slightest bit impressed with 2015 at all. His job is on the line, and it’s not like he loves being a marketing wunderkind, but he has to do something to pay the bills. If he had his way, he’d just vanish into the mountains and live out his life as the black bear he yearns to shift into.

Unfortunately, Jagger doesn’t have the time to let his beast run. He has responsibilities that he can’t walk away from.

Kevin Kelly could tell Jagger a thing or two about bad days, bad years, and just out and out bad luck. He made the mistake of smarting off to a curandera years ago and hasn’t been able to shake the curse she put on him yet. There’s not an area of his life that hasn’t been screwed up in one way or another. As a pronghorn shifter, he’d be okay on his own in the wild. Sure, there’d be predators, but Kevin had come to realize the worst predators were the human kind.

But he can’t shift. He’s been solidly bound to human form since being cursed.

Two men, both trapped in their own ways. They’re about to find out that freedom comes in many forms.

Review: This is the first book in City Shifters. Jagger Osterman, a bear shifter, meets handsome Kevin Kelly, a pronghorn shifter, who he calls bunny boy. Kevin has been cursed but Jagger doesn’t believe in curses until he spends time with Kevin and realizes something is going on.

I loved the fact that Jagger was there for Kevin no matter what. Kevin seriously needed Jagger at this moment in his life as it seemed he could not catch a break. Kevin’s snaky personality was a hoot. I laughed quite a bit at his sarcastic comments.

It was a wonderful story with a lot of drama, laughter and a few tears. Well written that flows smoothly and draws the reader in. I absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to see what else will happen in this series.

Highly recommended.

Review: This is the first book in the Fire and Flutter series.

I absolutely loved this book. It was a magical journey with beautiful scenery and deadly adversaries. Blaze is a dragon shifter who has had his ability to shift and breathe fire taken from him as punishment by the queen. He is tasked to take care of the fairies when they come to form an alliance. He meets Griff, a fairy who had his winged ripped from him in an awful way and was seriously injured. As a result he has memory problems.

I really felt for Griff. He seemed so lost and miserable at times yet fierce at others. Blaze seemed sarcastic and humorous and immediately fell for Griff and vice versa. These two go on an amazing journey in search of Griff’s wings. Along the way they meet Grlind, an Orc who was purged from his group and Jade, Storm King, whose kingdom is in the middle of a coup.

The whole story was wonderfully written and transports the reader into a fantasy world where all is not as it seems. There is laughter, suspense, mystery, deception and two individuals finding each other and themselves in the process. I truly was spellbound throughout and on the edge of my seat as the mystery surrounding Griff was unveiled.

I highly recommend this fantastic story. You won’t be disappointed. I cannot wait to see what happens next in this series.

Blurb: Love can conquer all, if he’ll only believe…

Roman Jonas has spent years recovering from a violent assault when he was just a teenager. He’s worked hard, and finally found his place in the world. Now, if he can only get his coyote to agree. As a medicine man for his pack, he isn’t able to shift. It’s frustrating to say the least, but not as frustrating—or confusing—as the feelings he has for former Ranger Abraham Evans.

Abraham lost the ability to do his job effectively when he was shot. His right arm and hand are close to useless, and he’s had a hell of a time not dying over the past month. Sometimes it seems like it’d be so much easier to just give up, but a certain hazel-eyed man has captured his heart, and it won’t stop beating.

When Abraham is discharged from the hospital, he moves to Del Rey to be closer to Roman, and because he has no one else in his life who truly cares about him.

Slowly, he and Roman begin a tentative friendship that turns into something more enduring than they’ve ever dreamed of, but enemies from the past threaten everything and everyone Roman and Abraham love.

Review: This is the third book in Coyote’s Call.

Roman and Abraham have been through traumatic events. But both are slowly recovering. Roman is doing all he can to overcome what happened to him and become the best medicine man he can though he is deeply ashamed he cannot shift yet.

These two have felt something for the other since the first time they saw each other. But Abraham felt he couldn’t be with Roman so he appointed himself as Roman’s protector until he is shot.

I loved the emotional aspect of this story that shows two people who have been damaged in some way but beat the odds and come out stronger.
There is also danger, action and suspense as the hunt is on for those who attacked Roman and shot Abraham.

It was a truly great read that blended all aspects so good that it captures the reader’s attention from the start and does not let go until the very last word.

It was powerful, intense yet caring. I loved the twist regarding Abraham and his past. Very well written and a great addition to the Coyote’s Call series as Bailey Bradford delivers another masterpiece for all to love.

Highly recommended. Can’t wait to see what is in store next in this fantastic series.

Blurb: Life with vamps is never easy.

Abernathy Meyers is already mated to a vamp, Zebulon. It’s just too bad that Zebulon doesn’t give a darn about him. Abbie’s stuck with the man for eternity—or until they die. Some days, Abbie thinks that can’t happen soon enough. He’s tired of being treated badly, yet he doesn’t really want to make his earthly exit yet.

Because he’s longed for another man—another vampire—for years. Forbidden love—is anything more compelling, or more heart-breaking?

There’s a twisted past, a hidden story linking Abbie, Zebulon and the coven leader, Claude.

Claude lives with a fear of turning to dust at any moment. It isn’t reasonable, but he can’t shake it. He’s let his own fears impede his potential happiness, and instead he puts the needs of his coven first, ignoring his own. But if he’s deliberately blind to one particular human’s needs because that human is a mate to another vampire, then is Claude truly leading to the best of his ability?

It’s a tough question for him to answer and soon, he’ll have to make a choice that will affect him and Abbie, forever.

Review: This was a great addition to the series. Finally Claude, the leader of the coven, gets a mate. And it turns about to be Abernathy. Their history together was very interesting to read about. Because of certain perceived notions Claude lost his chance with Abernathy years ago. This lead to both Claude and Abernathy to suffer for decades.

Lucky for both Claude and Abernathy, Zebulon finally does something that allows them to be together how they were meant to be. It was so sweet and pretty damn hot when they were finally able to claim one another.

This book was a fast read and very enjoyable. I spent as much time laughing at the antics of the coven members as I did cheering on Claude and Abernathy. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I love the characters Bailey Bradford has created.

Blurb: Ezekiel Matthers and Brendon Shanahan are about to find out that sometimes all it takes is a subtle breeze to shift the winds of fate.

Ezekiel Matthers is a reclusive man, forcing himself into the exile of his ranch after a violent assault left him wounded. While the scars on the outside have faded, the damage inside is much harder to conquer. Zeke resigns himself to a solitary existence, aside from his sister Enessa and, of course, his mama’s occasional visits.

Brendon Shanahan has a very meddling cousin, Gloria, who is best buds with Enessa Matthers. When the two women convince Brendon that he should hook-up with the reclusive Zeke, a plan is hatched that sets a series of events into motion – with potentially deadly consequences.

Can Ezekiel conquer his fears and accept what Brendon is offering? Or will Brendon walk away, giving up on the love he has waited for? And will the visits from Zeke’s mama – deceased for four years now – help the two men find their way to each other?

Only time will tell, and that may be the one thing the lovers don’t have, because someone is out to destroy everything Zeke and Brendon hold dear – and this time, the bad guy just might succeed.

Review: This is the first book in the revised series of the Southern Spirits.

Zeke is a loner who has withdrawn from the world since he was attacked years ago. He is a good, hardworking man who is lonely. But, due to his fear he remains alone. I felt so bad for Zeke. I wanted to hug him and soothe his fear by saying all will be will be well in time. I hated that he suffered in silence not wanting his family to know about the panic attacks.

Brendon is just what Zeke needed to bring him out of his shell. He was determined and always there no matter what and did not let things Zeke said chase him away. I absolutely could not stand Zeke’s sister Eva. She was so full of hate it made me sick. The ghost element was defiantly a good thing in the story. I liked that it was not over done like in some stories I’ve read and had the right balance for this book.

Well written and intriguing this amazing story draws you into the lives of two men who despite the odds fight to be together. It was emotional at times and mysterious at others.

I loved the entire book, but then again I love all of Bailey’s books.

Highly recommended.

Blurb: Rolly has waited ten years to claim his mate. Now the wait is over, and he’s coming home.

Rolly has waited patiently for his mate. When he first met Erdwin, the boy was still a child. Rolly felt nothing but compassion for him back then, but Erdwin came of age five years ago, and Rolly’s stayed out of his life in order to give Erdwin time to experience life.

Erdwin never fit right in his skin. He didn’t like what he saw in the mirror. It didn’t match how he felt inside. As a shifter, he was stuck with the body he had. Surgery wasn’t an option for him. But Erdwin found a way to accept himself—by embracing the part of herself that felt like her true nature. She struggled with it, but with her family’s support, she became Edie, the young lady she was meant to be. She stopped worrying about her parts, and concentrated on her heart.

When Rolly, a powerful shaman, moves back home to the pack, Edie is transfixed. He makes her nervous—and arouses her. But what would a man like him think of a woman liker her?

Review: This is the fourth book in the Spotless series. I have to say that Bailey Bradford has done it again with a fantastic addition to the Spotless series. So much emotion running through this book that it took my breath away. I literally cried reading how Edie, a shifter, struggled with herself and bawled like a baby at the packs reaction to her coming out so to speak.

Edie was such a sweetheart yet strong when it counted. I was very impressed with her determination to be herself no matter what anyone else said and was very proud of her.

Rolly was so great with reaction of Edie I cried yet again. I have never cried so much while reading a book but it was a happy cry. Amazing twists and turns as the pack deals with several things going on at once. This pack is truly a family that stands by each other no matter what the circumstances are.

Rolly and Edie made such a great couple and they both seemed so much stronger when in the presence of the other. Rolly was so sweet to wait until Edie was ready. He was strong yet sure of himself. His powers as a Shaman were simply jaw dropping.

The whole book was well written and takes you on an emotional journey and a rescue mission for Edie’s sibling in Siberia. Action packed, intense scenes and some hot sex made for an amazing addition to the Spotless series.

Two of my favorite characters are in this book so that meant some hilarious sarcastic comments from Cliff and Bobby. This book has everything adventure, action, drama, mystery and love. I can’t wait for the next book to come out. Absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it to everyone.

You have to read this book.

Blurb: Some things in life just might be worth giving up garlic for.
It was simple curiosity that led Augustin to the vampire dating site—he thought it must be a joke started up by a bunch of weirdos. Man, was he right—but it just so happens that those weirdos really are vampires, and when one shows up at his place, Augustin’s world is turned upside down.

First he’s got a psychotic vampire to deal with. Then he’s got one who is much more fun hanging around.

Except now that Augustin knows that vampires exist, he can’t be left alive. Or can he? When an alternative is offered up, Augustin doesn’t care for it, either. After all, he doesn’t want to be whisked off to some disgusting vampire den.

Tony’s the vampire next in line to lead the coven. He wants to be a fair man, and that means arguing against killing Augustin. If he’s also attracted to the sarcastic, adorable man, where’s the harm in that?

The attraction between Augustin and Tony is undeniable, but deny it is what they both try to do. Someone is going to have to bend or break.

Review: From the start Augustin pulled me into the story and I could really connect with him. He is not perfect, far from it. He knows it and accepts it. But that doesn’t mean he lets others put him down. He gives as good as he gets, and damn does his mouth get him in trouble.

It all starts when Augustin gets bored and while surfing the net he discovers a vampire dating site. Curiosity gets the better of him and he keeps trying to create a profile, only it doesn’t work. Little does he know that vampires are real and they are mentoring the site. Augustin has just opened a whole can of trouble.

Tony is one of the vampires who comes to investigate the human. Not too much is given about his past other than he was dying of a disease when he was made into a vampire thirty years ago. The attraction between Tony and Augustine is there from the start. But Tony really needed to work for Augustin to give in.

This book rocked, hands down. I spent most of the time laughing my ass off. The snark and smartassery is insanely hilarious. The interactions among not only Tony and Augustin were funny, but also with the secondary characters.

“Calm your tits,” Augustin said, “and put your damned fangs away. I swear to God, if I find a fingernail file anywhere around…”

That is just one of the zingers Augustin says throughout the book. This book simply has me rolling in laughter. Not only that but I could not put it down once I started reading. I needed to see what next off the wall thing Augustin would say or do. He definitely keeps Tony on his toes.

Plus the chemistry between Augustin and Tony is hot and steamy. They are very sexy together.

All in all it was funny, sexy, and very well written and paced. I simply enjoyed this book to the ultimate. I cannot say one bad thing about it, except I didn’t want it to end.

This is the first book in a series and I cannot wait for the next one.

Portia’s Two Cents: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts

To say that I love Bailey Bradford is like saying I like to breath…duh. She is just an amazing author who just does it for me. But, I have to admit, I did not see My Life Without Garlic, and Augustin coming.

Leigh is right when she calls Augustin snarky, what she didn’t mention, that his little smart mouth will have you gasping, belly laughing and blushing.

Yes, there is a tightly written plot, and passionate romance, but my gawd, there is so much humor, that I just had to pop in and add my two cents.

Blurb: Lessons learned from past betrayals can protect Colby Vincent’s heart, or cost him a chance at happiness he never thought to have.

Colby thought he’d never let anyone close again after being betrayed by everyone he loved, but one closeted, stubborn oilfield worker with a penchant for dressing like a cowboy seems determined to out himself and win Colby’s heart. It’s as if Hunter Talamentez walked right out of Colby’s fantasies and into the convenience store where Colby works.

But Hunter is closeted, and he’s never considered changing that. He’s got his homophobic cousin with him, a family that he knows won’t support him if they know the truth about who he is and a job where being out could get him hurt. He resigned himself to spending his life alone until he gets to know Colby. Then he embarks on a journey with Colby that will change their lives if only they both find the strength to take a few chances.

Nothing comes easily, and learning to give from the heart when that heart has been shattered twice before might be more than Colby is capable of. He isn’t sure about having more than a fling with Hunter, yet he can’t seem to stay away from the man, either. What was meant to be one night together turns into more, and Colby loses his ability to keep Hunter at the safe distance he’d wanted.

Purchase Link: https://www.totallybound.com/belt-buckles-and-cowboy-boots

Review: Ballotsville isn’t a very accepting town. At least Colby hasn’t found it to be. Most people have ignored him or refused to shop on his shift as if gay is contagious. He doesn’t care. He is out, doesn’t flaunt his sexuality, but refuses to hide who he is. He works two jobs since his rich family tossed him out as soon as he turned 17 with only a suitcase of clothes.

He doesn’t have boyfriend since if there is anyone in town gay they are hidden in the closet. He has a fantasy guy that is tall, and brawny in jeans, pearl button shirt, silver belt buckle, cowboy hat, and cowboy boots.

Hunter is living in the closet and has never considered coming out. He stays busy working the oil rigs to send home money to his mom and has his bigoted cousin to keep an eye on that can’t stay out of trouble. Once he meets Colby in the convenience store and at his other job, he begins to wonder how long he can hide. The more he sees the sexy clerk the more he wants to get to know him.

This is another beautifully written story by Bailey Bradford. There are so many lessons of acceptance and love to be learned in this one story. I fell in love with every single character from Colby, to the sassy Christy he works with and of course Hunter. Bailey paints a poignant picture with words.

I could see Hunter in his cowboy clothes and the expression on Colby’s face the first time he saw him in his regular clothes and not work clothes. My heart went out to Colby. I could feel his pain and loneliness. Oh and the sex is so sizzling hot! It is explicit there is a lot of it but it’s always so well done!

If you’re looking for the perfect story to pull you in and keep you entertained for a few hours, this is it. If you like, hunky heroes, tough out and proud gay men, sassy chicks and happy endings this is the perfect book for you. I forgot to mention how smoking hot it is! Turn on the fans!

Blurb: Two species that have always kept themselves separated are about to collide and create a new world.

Humanity almost managed to do itself in. Ravaged by wars and plagues, the human population on earth has been bordering on extinction, although pockets of people have been forging on over the past few hundred years. It’s a hard life, and one Aaron Olsen fears he doesn’t fit into. As a son of a village leader, there are pressures on him he can’t manage, and things he keeps hidden, desires he doesn’t know how to express that keep him up many nights as he worries over them.

Valen is an alpha, born with the crescent moon mark on his chest. It means he’ll have to leave the pack he was born and raised in. It is the way of the wolf, and the only way to prevent it is to fight his father. Valen has no intention of doing such a dishonorable thing. He leaves as he’s supposed to, only to find himself the victim of thievery. When he hunts down the party responsible for stealing his belongings, Valen finds himself attracted to the human Aaron Olsen.

Now, if they can only survive their own pride and insecurities, and an attack that threatens everything they love, they just might have a chance at happiness in Valen’s Pack.

Review: After wars and disease ravage the planet, the world is a bleak place to live. Valen, an alpha, is about to start his journey away from the only family he’s ever known and doesn’t want to leave but knows he has to. Aaron is a human who doesn’t think he belongs in his village. It was really sad to read how depressed he was and how dark his thoughts had become.

This story to me was about two different species learning to trust one another and coexist with each other in a time when there were many dangers around. The details of how Aaron’s village struggled to survive were heartbreaking but they somehow managed the best they could. The evil people who attacked Valen’s father’s pack were heartless and cruel. I was glad that Valen and the rest of them stopped their evil ways before they destroyed Aaron’s village as well.

Very well written. I really enjoyed the entire book. The details were amazing. There was drama, adventure, and action all throughout. The intimate scenes between Aaron and Valen were hot and passionate. Absolutely loved it.

Fantastic read and highly recommended. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Blurb: You never know what you’ll find in south Texas—or what will find you.

Trent Jacek doesn’t want too much—to live on the ranch his brother owns, a few puppies to keep him company in his trailer, maybe a good man if he can find one. First he has to catch a break long enough to try. Things just aren’t slowing down on the Jacek ranch. They’ve got a barn to rebuild, and their plan to get a pack of shifter wolves off their back doesn’t seem to be working.

Then there’s the matter of the bones the police are looking for on the ranch. After a grayed, old femur was left on the porch, Trent and his brother Joe are forced to confront some things they’d never expected to. Is that solitary bone from their mother, who went missing over twenty years ago? If so, how did she end up there? If not, who is dumping people on the ranch?

Trent’s been having the strangest dreams since he’s seen that femur but can’t imagine they’re more than just dreams. He doesn’t have a lot of time to worry about them between shifter attacks, a nosy biologist, and neighbors coming by to snoop.

What Trent doesn’t know is someone has put an assassin on his tail, but it’s the assassin who will come to question everything he’s been told once he meets the vibrant, sexy man he’s been sent to kill.

Review: Trent Jacek is a handsome, sarcastic, and tough as nails kinda guy. He will stop at nothing to protect those he loves. Mahon Morrison is a big, hairy, sexy assassin bear shifter sent to kill Trent. He doesn’t realize the quickie he just had with a stranger was really Trent until the owner of the building tells him. He attempts to sneak up on Trent at his home, but instead gets soaked with a water hose, ordered to strip and walk into the house then gets knocked unconscious by Trent.

Upon awakening, he finds himself tied up with a tarantula crawling up his leg. He freaks out and shifts. After everyone calms down Mahon is informed that what he was told about Joe, Trent, and Diego was wrong. Confused he thinks thing through and realizes he’s being used to do the dirty work for Diego’s old packs Alpha. So he decides to protect them the best he can against the other bear shifters and wolves the alpha will surely send to make sure the job gets done.

Along the way, Trent and Mahon fall in love amid fighting against bear shifters, wolves and an annoying biologist. I really enjoyed reading this wonderfully written story. It had drama, action, love, intense fight scenes, and a lot of funny parts about the tarantulas and the way people reacted to them. Plus a lot of hot sex between Trent and Mahon. Bailey has delivered yet another amazing story.

Loved it.

Highly recommend this book.

Frankie never let anyone close, until Duke refused to give up on him.

Frankie Freemont knows everyone at the Mossy Glenn thinks he’s a jerk for breaking things off with Jody. Letting people get close to him just isn’t something Frankie does. And older men? No way. Frankie doesn’t do that daddy thing so many younger guys seem to like.

Duke suffers a concussion, and Frankie suffers the consequences of a bad choice he makes. With his family wanting him for only one thing—money—and Duke slowly breaking down his defenses, Frankie doesn’t know which way is up.

Duke is determined to prove to Frankie that he’s a good man—they both are. Duke’s worked hard to overcome his youthful past. He’s still ashamed of being a bully years ago, and does everything he can to make sure he never makes mistakes like that again. Now he and Frankie have to decide what they want, and how to go about getting it. That means making some changes that can break each man’s heart.

Review: This is book six in the Mossy Glen Ranch series but it stands alone just fine. I want to say I love the titles and covers too. I will warn you that you will not want to put it down once you start. Bailey has a way of captivating you until the very last word. Also, you will want to read the first six in this series https://www.goodreads.com/series/98282-mossy-glenn-ranch plus the nine in the Love in Xxchange series https://www.goodreads.com/series/60325-love-in-xxchange to see how Will, Troy, Carlos and the rest of the gang met.

Though the trio does make an appearance, we don’t get a sex scene from them this time, oh well. Duke swept me off my feet. I have a thing about older men and Duke is hot, sexy and has a heart of gold, and is determined to make Frankie his.

I actually liked Frankie even though he had recently dumped Jody. I did see his point to not keep leading Jody on. I had a soft spot for Frankie. Frankie is a loner and doesn’t make friends easily. He has a very low self-esteem and is self-destructive. He gets involved with a man who likes to get rougher than Frankie likes.

There is quite a bit going on in this story with Frankie and his secrets, and Duke dealing with effects of a bad concussion and some family issues of his own. We meet a couple of characters I hope are coming in the next book or so also. I will say there was a twist near the end that brought tears to my eyes, though it led to a very satisfying ending that brought me even more tears though this time happy ones.

I highly recommend this book (and this series) if you like hot sexy cowboys, older men/younger men, life issues, some angst a touch of drama, some twists, a bit of a tearjerker, smokin’ hot sex and a sweet satisfying ending this is definitely for you. After 15 books in this line, Bailey never ceases to amaze me with her wonderful characters and heart-wrenching stories. If you like MM cowboy romance, you will want this series!

Blurb: A familiar road can still be full of surprises.

Joe Jacek loves his life for the most part. All he ever wanted to do was be a rancher, and that’s what he’s doing. He feels bad that his father didn’t leave the ranch to him and his brother Trent both, but Joe would never short his brother out of his inheritance. Lucky for them, they’re close brothers. They like to hang out in the evenings, get stupid, and then get on with work the next day.

But it can be a lonely life. While Trent is a great brother, he can’t be everything for Joe, and vice versa. Joe would like to get laid sometimes, and living where he does, that’s a rare occurrence. So he drinks and does a little something else now and then. It’s all good—he’s just relaxing.
He knows the road between his house and Trent’s trailer like he knows his own soul. Turning off the headlights one night just to make the drive more exciting isn’t a big deal.

Until a werewolf jumps on his truck. Then the rules for everything change.

Review: Bailey Bradford delivers another awesome story that grabs your attention and doesn’t let go until the very end.

Joe Jacek is a lonely man taking care of his ranch day after day with the help of his younger brother Trent. One late night while on his way back from his brother’s house, Joe encounters something that will change his life forever. Diego is an omega wolf shifter that has been badly abused by his pack. Finally, he can to more and leaves the pack. Knowing if the pack catches him, they’ll kill him, he stays on the run until he encounters Joe. His instincts tell him to keep running but something is pulling him toward Joe.

Diego doesn’t want to put the brothers in danger from his ex pack but he can’t seem to stay away. When Diego is caught in Joe’s house, the meeting is hot and explosive. Eventually trouble comes in the form of his ex pack beta’s that are there to get him back by any means necessary. Diego has to decide to stay and fight or leave and loose the man he loves.

A truly wonderfully written book by Bailey Bradford. The details of the Texas landscape were simply breathtaking. I could actually imagine I was there with Joe and Diego as the story unfolded. Hot, steamy sex between sexy Joe and Diego the handsome shifter, all throughout that set the pages on fire. Danger, mystery, action, drama, surrounds this amazing story. Smoothly flowing words made for a fantastic read.

I have read all Bailey’s books and can say they are all fantastic reads. If you haven’t yet read one of Bailey Bradford’s books then I highly recommend you do so. You won’t be disappointed.

Jody Bates just wanted to fit in and forget his past, but you can’t escape everything.
Jody Bates had a hard life as a kid, but he’s moved past that and is making a home for himself at the Mossy Glenn. Sometimes he smarts off, but he’s young, and he’s learning.

What he hasn’t learned yet is that you can never completely escape your past.

Jody has a few blank spots, things he can’t quite remember. Like many kids, he did some stupid things and figures he’s lucky to have come out relatively unscathed. Sure, there’s a scar here and there, but on the whole, he’s doing just fine.

But something that happened brings about an enormous change in his life. Jody finds himself with a kid he didn’t know he’d fathered, and memories trying to surface about the drug-filled night the child had to have been conceived. Jody, at twenty, is overwhelmed and more scared than he’s ever been in his life.

Noel Cuthbert needed a change. He was tired of the bar scene, tired of being dumped. He seemed to have a six-month expiration date per relationship. The last guy almost broke him in many ways, and moving across the country had sounded like a brilliant idea when he’d first thought of it.

Now he’s in Ashville, Montana, and his Aunt Gertie is doing everything she can to talk him into staying. She needs his help, and Noel needs to be needed.

And he’s never seen anyone who needs him more than the young man who walks into Gertie’s day care with a screaming baby on his hip.

Review: This is book five in this series. I think it stands alone pretty well though you may be curious as to some of the other characters.

This book is about Jody. Jody has been working at the Mossy Glenn for a little while. He had recently come out and he and Frankie had been fooling around when Jody’s sister had dropped of an almost three-year-old child telling him it was his and that he was still dead to his family. Of course, the bosses of the ranch Carlos, Troy and Will were very acceptable and helpful. Jody meets Noel at the day care he chooses for Prissy and they become friends quickly.

For those of you not familiar with this series it centers on the Mossy Glenn ranch, a very gay friendly ranch. Each book features a different character and has several of the previous ones and ongoing ones interact in each book. You may wonder how a series has different takes on gay cowboys, keeps it pretty sweet, very hot and sexy yet, fresh and interesting each time, but Bailey Bradford is a master at it. Each book is very different though keeping to her style.

I really liked Noel. He isn’t the cowboy but a love interest and also a vegetarian. I absolutely adored Prissy and the baby talk added even more charm to an already charming series. I do have one complaint. The action or conflict that was Noels was resolved in a wham, bam, thank you ma’am style. It built up slow then all of a sudden, it was resolved. I’d have liked a bit more intrigue or it not felt so easy. Just my personal opinion, it didn’t ruin the story for me. I was left with several unanswered questions (sorry I can’t say what without spoilers) I am hoping they will be answered in the next book.

If you like sweet, sexy stories, featuring hot gay cowboys, cute babies, a bit of drama, lots of charm and some hot mansex this is definitely for you!

Blurb: What starts out as a simple assignment becomes everything Keegan ever feared, and everything he ever wanted.

Keegan has served Marcus, his Alpha Anax, to the best of his abilities. After the deaths of several guards a year ago, however, Keegan is afraid he’s going to unravel at the seams. His worry over keeping everyone safe robs him of sleep and any hope of peace.

And people are noticing. Members of the guards he is captain of think he needs to get laid, or at least remember how to laugh. Keegan thinks they need to learn that there are boundaries they shouldn’t cross with him. When he learns of a security breach by Marcus’ brother Aidan, exposing a flaw in the safety measures Keegan has set in place, Keegan is desperate to find someone to make sure the electronics at the shifter compound are break-in proof.

Marcus and Nathan are worried about Keegan. When they find someone to do the job Keegan needs done, they make sure Keegan is the one to take a short trip to Brazil to pick up the security expert, Olin. But when Olin and Keegan meet, they snap and snarl at each other while fighting the mating bond that keeps flaring between them.

Then something happens that forces them to both depend on each other, and if they’re lucky enough, they might even survive the ordeal. But first, they’ll have to escape their would-be captors, and make it through the rainforest, where strange things are bound to happen.

Review: Well, I’ll be damned if this wasn’t an awesome instalment to this series. To be very honest I had somehow given up that this series would make that leap and go from flat and bland to something more, but as I said this instalment certainly went beyond my expectations.

That’s not to say there weren’t stereotypes, clichés, and the “fated forced mating” that I so much despise. But – at that is one huge “but” – the story made up for all those in a most exciting way for me. Made me think Ms. Bailey Bradford is getting better and better at her writing and conveying of emotions/feeling through written text. Because there was one hell of a charge and chemistry and electrifying eroticism nearly palpable all over the lines, the kinky stuff were deliciously written, shocking in their introduction, but amazingly developed as the mated bond went deeper and deeper.

And at this point, I’m going to put a full stop and go back a bit as the need to go over the characters is becoming heavy. Keegan; oh my freaking God, loved him. Totally loved him, even as he made one hell of a 180 turn the moment he laid hands on Olin. Did you notice I said hands not eyes? Yup, hands, because he sure fought the bond as much as he could. But who would have thought that Keegan, the control freak out turn so pliant when Shorty went to claim him… Just loved it! It was fun, it was hot, it made sense, and I had a blast reading this story. As for Olin, damn he was all short guys with a chip on their shoulders are. But I liked the fact that the author didn’t magically change him, rather let him slowly learn and accept and adapt to all the changes “Fate” threw his way. That short son of a … made my heart race with his sadistic streak, because yeah, this was one kinky/sadomasochistic read I absolutely adored.

Action wise, well there was intensity and a hell lot of running, but the story is left unfinished giving you the notion that another instalment linked with this one is going to continue this particular story in the future. The villain remains a mystery and a big, scary cat comes in to blur the waters. It is known that in Ms. Bradford world there are no known other shifters beside werewolves, but things are changing and they are damned well enticing. Perhaps this author has more to give in this series after all.

Definitely recommended to fans of the genre and there is that big promise of a change for the future instalment in this one, thus making this book a bit of a necessity in order to catch up with the twist on the path. Enjoy, I sure as hell did.

Blurb:Book nine in the Love in Xxchange Series

Three men who’ve given up on love find it in the most unexpected place.

A rough cowboy, a sassy spitfire, and a bartender—they sound like the start of a joke, but there’s nothing funny about the way Carlos feels when a sexy spitfire of a man blows him a kiss.

Carlos came down to Texas from the Mossy Glenn Ranch in Montana to deliver some bad news to his former boss Nick. Just one problem, his GPS unit is a lying POS. It keeps having him drive in circles and nagging him to turn in impossible places.

Then a man blows him a kiss, and reawakens a part of him Carlos thought was dead and gone. He’s a middle-aged cowboy, tired and unemployed, yet when he stops for directions and sees the sexy spitfire getting jacked off by one very handsome, stacked bartender, it’s a jolt to his libido.

When Will and Troy invite him to play and make it clear they aren’t a couple, they’re just strangers like he is to them, Carlos just can’t resist.

But each of them has secrets, pain and desires, needs and hopes. Will is hated by most the town residents, Troy can’t accept his own needs, and Carlos has let his past control him for almost two decades. Can they find what they need together and in themselves? Is such a thing possible?

Review: Warning: this does have a ménage, and some bondage and spankings.

This is book 9 of the Love in Xxchange series.  I am going to admit this is my first in this particular series. I wanted to read it because I have been reading the Mossy Glenn Ranch series and this book is where the main characters, Will, Troy and Carlos meet.  I absolutely love Bailey Bradford and loved the Mossy Glenn series.  Will is one of my all-time favourite characters, another reason I wanted to read this particular book but more on that in a minute. I will say I plan to read this entire series also since the other characters seem to be quite interesting as well. So I do suggest you read the series in order then be sure to jump in the Mossy Glenn series as well.

In this book Will, Carlos, and Troy meet.  I found the way they met adorable. Carlos is zooming along the road from Montana, to talk to his friend about the Mossy Glenn and is already upset for the goings on there. A cutie in a mini cooper passes him and blows him a kiss. Carlos is also lost from the directions of his GPS and pulls into a bar for a drink, to calm down and get directions to his friend’s ranch. He walks in on a sexy bartender and a twink getting it on, on the bar. Then he realizes the twink is the guy that blew him a kiss. The three end up in the storage room.  It just gets better from there.

I absolutely love Bailey’s writing style.  The author really knows how to paint a picture with words.  I loved how she described Carlos from Will’s view.   He simply thought Marlboro man.  That was all I needed to absolutely visualize Carlos.  Now Will is a completely new story and you get his picture throughout this story as well as he seems to grow in the next series. I absolutely love will. He is described as a small guy, with very feminine features. As a matter of fact when he first went past Carlos, Carlos thought he was a girl until he saw him better.  At first, you think of Will as a twink. He is fun-loving, sexy, and very campy. But he is not what he appears. He is very strong, knows what he wants, how to get it and uses his campiness however he needs.  I think that is what I like best about him is that he is not the usual character. He isn’t tall dark and handsome or an Alpha male, he is the opposite but don’t let him fool you. He can hold his own.

I love that this story is a bit complicated. It is a western with cowboys, yet it also has drama, and it deals with a ménage and though it has lots of sex, it still stays interesting as well.

If you like a great series, bartenders, cops, ménage, bondage cowboys, drama, and lots of hot mansex this is for you!
