When Nysys asks him to share a house in Malibu for a week of fun, Jago jumps on the opportunity. He wants Corbin to experience what a vacation is and to relax, hoping that it will help him step away from his unconventional upbringing.
Corbin would do anything for his mate, so he doesn’t hesitate to say yes when Jago tells him about the vacation on the beach. He could do without all the other people there, especially the weird pink-haired guy, Nysys. Corbin can tell Nysys is trouble with a capital T from the first time he sees him.
And he’s not wrong. What do you get when you put together sun, sand, and a drunken watermelon? Trouble.
Review: Each book in the Gillham Pack collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is connected to the Whitedell Pride series.
Just a sweet little story to rock your world. What happens when Nysys puts together a plan that involves a vacation, sun, sand, watermelon and alcohol. You mix that with an assassin on his first vacation with his mate and friends and things are going to get real interesting, real fast. Corbin should have been looking out but lets just say he is about to get a real shock with a drunk watermelon. Watch out Jago.
I got a kick out of this and was not expecting it. I love little stories that have hard cases having a blast. He needed it trust me. Funny, exciting and hot as hell is what you get with this little story. Perfect for when your break needs a little pick me up. I had fun with it and you will too.
Blurb: Since he was rescued from the lab he’d been locked up in, Kanan hasn’t been living—he’s been surviving. He can’t trust anyone, not completely, and it’s easier to hide away in his room, away from life.
Titus lost everything—his father, his tribe, his best friend. He knows Jarah and Neriah did the right thing, taking the tribe away from him, but it doesn’t make accepting that any easier. Yet when Jarah asks him for help, he decides he’ll do what he has to do to keep his best friend and the pack where some of his old tribe members live safe, even if that includes killing the Los Angeles pack’s alpha.
Kanan never expected to meet his mate, not when he spends so much of his time in his room. But when he meets Titus in the woods, he knows he can’t hide away from their bond—and he doesn’t want to. Will he manage to get through the anger Titus has shrouded himself in? And will Titus find a way to break the thick walls Kanan built around his heart?

That is one of the best things about this author, the characters are so different from one another. You not only get your wolves and felines, but so many other types as well. Take Kanan, he is a very cute red panda. Just look at those cheeks of his and that adorable nose. He had been rescued from a lab but is still quite afraid of everyone. Well that is until he finds his mate. A mate that is planning to marry a woman. Talk about a shock to the system.
Titus was one the leader of his people, but that changed when he sent in his friend to kill the alpha. Now he need to protect his people and start his tribe over. That included marrying a female and getting her pregnant, talk about gross. That changes when he meets his mate and gets a lecture from his friends. He just needs to get over the past and look towards the future. And his future was with a little shifter who had been captured, tortured, experimented and caged by scientist.
Now rumor has it that this is the last book for this series but the author has come up with another branch off in a way. So I hate to see this series end but look forward to the future characters later on. It is a very exciting story and these two were a big hit. Both of them anti-social but for good reasons. You mix them together and what do you get, one hell of a good story. I had a lot of fun with it. I would definitely recommend this series.
Blurb: Sometimes your friends know you better than you know yourself. It’s vacation time for Keenan and his family, and like they have every year since they adopted their daughter, he and Jonah are taking Kaila to Gillham to visit old friends. His vacation is interrupted by work, though, when he’s sent to retrieve a baby boy who’s been abandoned. Keenan places Miles with Rabbit, Elton, and Samuel while his colleague looks for a family, but Rabbit still insists he doesn’t like children. Will he change his mind, or will Keenan have to take Miles away, breaking Elton’s and Samuel’s hearts in the process?
Review: This is part of the eXtasy Summer Shorts 2018.
It is vacation time for Keenan, Jonah and their four year old daughter. They are going to Gillham to visit old friends and it is about time. Keenan has been working for the childrens services for shifters and it sometimes hurts his heart with how many kids show up. While there a baby shifter has been found and he knows the perfect family for him. Now all he has to do is to get them to agree.
It is short and sweet with a bit of charm added in. I always love it when Keenan or Nysys is in the books although I had not expected this one. It was entertaining as usual and I can’t wait to see what stories this amazing author has out there.
Blurb: When life throws you a curve ball, you have to deal with it as well as you can.
When Rabbit arrived in Gillham, he was only trying to get away from his ex-boyfriend. He never expected to find a pack, a family, but he feels at home in Gillham. Finding his mate makes that feeling even stronger, at least until he realizes Elton isn’t only his mate, but also Samuel’s.
Elton’s in Gillham to visit his brother when he ends up in the middle of a spat for him. He might not know a lot about shifters and mates, but he does know that one human guy having two shifter mates isn’t normal.
Samuel is ready to fight for Elton, and really, it shouldn’t take much with how tiny Rabbit is. But Rabbit reveals himself to be stronger and more stubborn than Samuel had thought, and when Elton gives them an ultimatum, they have to learn to work together—or be without their mate.
They know a three-way mating is possible, but it doesn’t make it easy. Rabbit, Elton, and Samuel all have their own insecurities and problems. Will they manage to work around them and be happy together, or will the stress of having to share a mate make their relationship implode?
Review: Each book in the Gillham Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is also connected to the Whitedell Pride and Council Enforcers collection.
There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I think what I love most about this series and the ones they are connected with is that even though they are tough shifters or nix, they do have a soft spot for those around them. Also the fact that it isn’t just one or two kinds of shifters, you get a wild mixture which makes it more fascinating. Then you add in nix’s and it is going to get wild.
A house cat shifter with a ducks name and nicknamed Rabbit. Rabbit lived on the streets as a normal black cat that is until Ms. White picks him up as a stray. Then she wants to neuter his ass and oh hell no, he is not going to let it happen. Then shifters come to his rescue and lets just face it, Rabbit is an cat with an attitude. Guess he is just like a normal cat. Then in comes his mate, or should I say two mates with a twist. It seems like Rabbit and Samuel are mated to Elton, but not to each other. Now is that a tongue twister or not.
I love the way Catherine puts together a story that not only draws you in but keeps you entertained as well. They have a serious tone to them, but there is quite a bit of humor floating around. I do get a kick out of the whole thing. They are not long size novels, but just the right size for me to really enjoy. They have so much depth and details that if will feel like you are right there with them. I love that there is even the hint of danger surrounding them sometimes. Trust me that this is one series that you will enjoy quite a bit. I loved it and cannot wait for the next book to come out.
Blurb: Sometimes you have to accept what life gives you without questions.
Geoffrey’s life is normal—or it would be, if most of his friends weren’t members of the Gillham pack. He loves the pack, though, and when he finds an injured woman and three babies, he agrees right away to take care of the oldest one, Mingan. It’s the least he can do, and maybe it’ll help him get closer to William, his mate.
William thought he’d never trust another man, not after what his best friend and lover did to him seven years before. He tries to resist the bond that pulls him close to Geoffrey, but Geoffrey is stubborn, and he doesn’t take no for an answer.
William has no doubt Geoffrey will eventually wriggle his way into his life, but will he be able to get past the wall William built between himself and the rest of the world? What will Mingan’s presence mean for them and for their future? And what will happen when Mingan’s father tries to get him back?

Over the years that I have been reading I soon come to the conclusion that I do have favorites. Catherine Lievens is one of those authors that just seem to bring a smile to my face no matter what is going on. Her stories always leave me wishing that I was in them. There is a joy in them as well as many other feelings that just seem to brighten my day every time I read them. I will admit that when she puts a new one out, I go and read the entire two series that are connected before I read the new book. It connects me a bit easier with the story, knowing who everyone is and what they stand for. Plus I just get a kick out of some of the guys.
Geoffrey was a human who basically hung around the pack. His mate was a wolf, who is very shy and doesn’t really acknowledge him. It has its ups and downs that is for sure, but it all changed when Geoffrey came across a windego dying. She had save three little ones and brought them to the pack for safety. The oldest Mingan was not even a year old but he chose Geoffrey. Now all they need to do is to get William into the act. To top it off Mingan’s father shows up and if you want to know more, pick up the book.
I always get a kick out of these guys and this didn’t change that at all. I loved Geoffrey, and once I found out why William was the way he was, well let’s just say he is a sweetie. I just wanted to hug him to death. I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. There is something about the way that she tells you a story more than likely have you laughing your ass off at parts of it.
This story is perfect for when you are trying to take a break or when you just need the sun to shine for you. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story.
Blurb: Rushing into things isn’t always wrong, no matter what everyone says.
Sei has had enough of dodging his mother’s and his aunt’s attempt to arrange a bonding for him since Clea mated with Christian. They don’t see a reason for him not to bond with someone they choose, but he doesn’t care about traditions. He wants the real deal when it comes to mating—love, lust, and a happily ever after.
Donovan is the liaison between the pack and the government. His job isn’t running around Washington rescuing street kids, but he wants to help the pack, and those kids. The last thing he expected from his impromptu mission was to meet his mate.
When Sei is overwhelmed by a crowd of reporters who have come to Gillham to find out more about shifters, he’s rescued by a bear shifter. He recognizes Donovan as his mate only once Donovan shifts, and he doesn’t let the occasion slip away. They mate within hours of their first meeting, but Sei hadn’t considered the complications that would come with it.
The attacks on the pack are escalading, Donovan’s son is vehement about his dislike of Sei, and Donovan doesn’t know what to do. Will he have to choose between his mate and his son? What can he do to keep the pack safe? Will this be the time when everything falls apart?

I have been reading romance and paranormal’s for over 30 years and can honestly say that I love a good paranormal romance more than any other kind of story. It was not until 5 years ago that I started read m/m romance stories. The action in them just seems to be more believable then when it is m/f. So over the years you come to cherish and love certain authors more than many others. It is the way they tell a story that will have you wishing you were right there with them. And sometimes you wished you were the one falling in love. This author has moved up the line to be one of my top favorite authors and from the way her stories are told, she will probably stay there.
Her characters are quirky as hell, protective to the point of well you can guess that answer. I still have my ultimate favorite ones but many start to work their way into my heart. Her stories also are full of action, suspense and danger plus some hot sexy time for our guys. They catch my attention the moment I start reading and keep it all the way to the very last word. This story gave me everything I could ask for in a story and so much more.
Sie is a sweet and very cute little firecracker who can shimmer where ever he needs to go. His family has set him up to bond with a female, but of course our sexy guy is so not into girls. However he is one of the lucky ones, whose family just seems to flow with it. Out on a little side trip to the store, leaves him overwhelmed by a group of nasty reporters, although Connor is not so bad. But to is luck, his mate just happens to be a big old brown bear shifter.
Donovan works for the government as a go between human and pack. Now that he has found his little mate, he just might be rethinking that. Especially when the attacks on the pack are getting out of hand. And you have your total asshats who are in the pack, acting like well asshats. Kam sure does have his hands full.
I love how it has that serious tone to it but there is a bit of humor in it that your attention is captivated throughout it all. I loved the cover and that was what caught my attention first. Although to be honest any book that Catherine writes is automatically bought by me. I just can’t seem to get enough of this series. Blurb: Sometimes there’s a lot more to a situation than we see at first sight.
Nuallan has been hiding in his cell ever since he got out of the infirmary after trying to kill himself. He hasn’t told anyone why he’d rather be there than free to move around pack territory, and Alex, his best friend, still hasn’t stopped trying to save him from himself.
Ethan is in the town hall when Kameron Rhett explains to the Gillham people what he and his friends are—shifters. Ethan doesn’t stay to hear the end of Kameron’s speech. He’s distracted by a pretty man, and when the man leaves after his best friend threatens Ethan, Ethan follows.
Ethan didn’t know about shifters until Kameron’s speech, but he’s thrust into their world when he finds out his pretty man, Nuallan, is a Nix, and Ethan is his mate. Will it be too much to accept? Will Nuallan finally reveal why he tried to kill Kameron? Or will the secrets push Ethan and Nuallan apart?

I started reading romance stories at the age of twelve and was always intrigued by the worlds that authors can come up with. Then a few years ago I read my first gay romance and I decided that there was just something about them that I liked more. I, like many, have favorites that we always follow and Catherine Lievens is one of those authors for me. There is just something about the worlds that she creates that keeps me captivated throughout the whole entire book. So much so that when a new book comes out, I must always start reading the very first book that leads up to this one.
I love how there is a serious tone to it, but that it is equally matched with humor. I can’t stand a book that has no humor in it; I would rather be laughing then just sitting there. I also love how the mates are well loved and protected by their stronger mates. There is always lust, love, hot sex and a good amount of danger placed in these stories that keeps my attention as well.
Nuallan was sent to Gillham to kill the pack alpha, but he isn’t the type to hurt anyone so well you guessed it our beloved Kameron is fine as always. He was placed in their cell, because Kam knew that the man was not a killer. After trying to kill himself, he hides alone in his cell although his friend Alex tries to get him to leave. Although dragging him to the big coming out wasn’t what he wanted, the man he sees is. It would seem our little fae has found his mate.
Ethan is human and is there for the explanation about shifters, although he always knew something was up with them. He takes one look at the frightened man across the room and knew he wanted to help. He just hadn’t expected to be the man’s mate. Things might just be looking up for them both. Especially when Nuallan’s leader lets them into a big secret.
To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me. I love them especially when there are some gorgeous men in some kinky situations. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story. When Catherine puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
Blurb: Not all things that look too good to be true are wrong.
Dallas is back in Gillham. He left the town and the pack after he was rescued from the lab, but he hasn’t been able to go back to fully living his life, and he hopes changing will help. He’s eager to work for Kameron and to be the pack’s doctor, even with the new problems the pack has.
Hamilton is Morin Glass’ best friend, and he wants answers. He’s seen the news about the man who became an animal, and he knows Morin and his boyfriend have to somehow be involved. He travels to Whitedell to get an explanation, and once there, he finds more than he was expecting.
Hamilton doesn’t seem to have problems accepting shifters, and Dallas is glad even if hesitant, but it doesn’t mean their life is easy. Hamilton’s life is in New York and he has to make a decision. Being with a shifter could be dangerous for him. Humans might know about them now, but it doesn’t mean they accept them. What does the future hold for Dallas and Hamilton, and for the pack?

Dallas moves back to Gillham after the humans found out about shifters to help his pack. He was a doctor and knew that Kameron needed one. Things were getting harder since shifters were found out. He just hadn’t expected his mate to show up.
Hamilton is a tattoo artist from New York and he was determined to find out why his best friend kept shifters hidden from him. He was pretty sure Morin was a human but damn his boyfriend Nysys was an odd ball. Then he finds out that he is the mate to a wolf shifter. Now it is strange because Hamilton is all for it, leave it to the Dallas to be the first shifter being leery.

Merle isn’t the wolf he was before, and who could blame him? He was sold to the labs, and then Tom, Alpha Erskine’s second, kidnapped and tortured him, leaving him for dead. Merle’s body has been healed, but his mind hasn’t, and he’s struggling with everyday life and nightmares. Add to that an overbearing mother, and his life is a mess.
Nootaw left his Wendigo tribe a year before, but even though he hasn’t hurt anyone since then, people still regard him with fear and disgust. Not even moving to Gillham changed that, but he’s use to it by now. When Nootaw is asked to help find Merle, he doesn’t expect Merle to take a sniff at him and tell him they’re mates. Nootaw isn’t sure what to do with Merle, because everyone knows Wendigoes don’t have mates.
Merle insists on giving Nootaw a chance, even though he might lose his mother over it. Then Nootaw disappears, reappearing with someone Merle hadn’t expected. Will Merle be able to leave his nightmares behind and be the man Nootaw needs him to be? And will Nootaw manage to get used to a life he’d never thought he could have?

Wendigo’s are known to be man eaters, most don’t understand that they don’t have to eat people but can survive on animals. Most of them don’t want to try it though, but Nootaw and his brother were the exception. His brother had never eaten a human before but Nootaw had. Now he was considered a monster.
Merle has been kidnapped not once but twice, and he was having nightmares from it. Not to mention his family and friends were trying too hard to help him. His mother was especially suffocating him by it. So when he finds out that his mate is Nootaw things go crazy. He knows it will be hard but they can get by it. Then his nightmares are coming for him in the name of Tom.
I love the way all the feelings they felt were involved in this story. I can’t wait to read the next story.
I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Every once in a while you find an author that can give you a world that would be perfect to live in. I came across Catherine awhile back when she started writing her series and I have to tell you that I will always grab her books up. They are not only the perfect length for me, but they are so full of detail that it feels like you are right there with them.
Corbin had been created in a lab to be a killer and to have zero feelings for others. However, he managed to escape the damn place and found a home in Gillham. He had not expected to find his mate, but feared he would never be able to be with Jago. He didn’t have feelings and was not sure if he could be the one for his mate.
Jago on the other hand knew that he had to give Corbin time. He had only been free for six months, but he needed to see that he didn’t have a master any longer. He could make decisions and he did have feelings. It would just take some patience to find it. With danger scouting around, Corbin would do everything to keep him safe.
I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story. When Catherine puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up.
I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Demi was a Steduna demon. Basically his powers were for plants which made his job perfect. He loved to garden, that is until his ex-boyfriend started causing trouble. After the last time, he had decided it was time to leave. His best friend Noah was the perfect one to help him. He had not expected to find his sexy mate there.
Reed had been one of those that had been captured and experimented on. He was having nightmares and jumped at the slightest noise. He was always having mood swings, so he feared his mate would run after he found out. These two are perfect for each other and damn they are hot. Now all they have to do is to get the damn ex to leave them alone.
I love the way this author can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Catherine. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. This book actually pulls at me more than most. I have lived through not only mental, emotional but physical abuse. Not as bad as many though. So Rick pulls at my heart-strings more than most characters. His old Alpha was an evil ass who took what he wanted. He had wanted Rick’s mom, and was more than likely his father. He was abused by many, beaten and shunned for stuttering and his life was hell.
Cole had been part of the council but his life changes when he finds his mate. He can feel and see the fear that the little guy has inside of him. Now he knows he would give everything up to be with his mate. He would give anything to help him to heal, and to show him that he is loved. Now if only his ass of a brother would stop calling.
I know by heart that Catherine’s books will always entertain me. When she puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a lot of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book.
I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. There is something about the way that this author tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off at some point.
I came across Catherine a few months ago and she has already established a spot in my favorite authors list. There is just something about her characters, story and the way they mix with each other.
With this series I would suggest reading Whitedell Pride series book one first. You start there and then you will start seeing how all the characters cross over. I can’t stand to start a series and then it ends after a while. I want them to continue and it drives me nuts when they don’t. I am a big fan of these guys.
Craig used to work as a guard for scientist who did experiments on shifters. At first he just did his job, but that soon stopped. He found out that they were ware in their animal form as well as in their human form. So he switched and started helping them escape. On his last rescue, he had decided to stop. He was tired both physically as well as mentally.
Now he just needed to figure out where he was going to make his home. He wanted to stay with the pack but wasn’t sure it would be allowed. Then he found out that he was the mate to Thomas. What a shock that is considering Thomas was an ass.
Thomas had been forced to marry twenty years ago to his friend. However he had always known he was gay. He didn’t expect to ever tell anyone seeing as his alpha was an evil ass. Then his alpha got killed in a challenge. Now he had to make a choice. That all changed when he realized that Craig was his mate. Here he was married with kids, and had to decided.

Zach knew when he was fourteen that Kameron was his mate. The problem was that in their pack it was not right for men to be together. Then his sister mated with one of the inner circle. Turns out that it was a bad idea and pretty much not hers. When she became pregnant Stan used his fears to control him. He feared for his sister’s safety and his mates. So he hid his scent and lived with the pain.
Kameron knew something was up, but he also remembered that Zach had left him. He had wanted to make him his mate even though they were not mated, but it isn’t until he saves Zach that the truth comes out. Things are about to get dicey and he needs to get over his fears of Zach taking off. The problem is there is still danger out there and they needed to keep everyone safe.
I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.

Xavier’s life has gone to hell. Not only has his ex-boyfriend’s stalker attacked him, but in order to keep him safe he’s being sent to the Gillham pack. When he meets Andy, he’s weirdly attracted to the man, but Xavier knows he’s not good enough for him.
Andy doesn’t want to play babysitter for Xavier, at least not until he meets him and realizes the man is his mate. He knows he’s going to have a hard time convincing Xavier to at least give their bond a chance, and that’s not counting the other problems their relationship will have to face.
The two mates will have to navigate angry families and the ever-present lab problem, and still Andy isn’t sure he’ll be able to help his mate get over his low self-esteem long enough to give him a chance.

Review: Each book in the Gillham Pack collection will feature a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This is in fact a spinoff from the Whitedell Pride collection. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.
I love the way Catherine can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by this author.
Xavier had been in love with Andrew. That is until Andrew broke up with him. Andrew was with Soren now, but it made Xavier feel even worse. He thinks that he should not be with anyone because he is a bit on the short side and a little over weight.
So when Andrew’s stalker comes after him, the shifters thought it might be better if he was on shifter lands for safety. Then they got the idea of sending him to the Gillham pack. Right before he left though, he was told about them being shifters. What does he do, he faints twice. Talk about things going crazy.
Then he meets Andy.
Andy was not pleased that he was going to take a day or two off from the garage to babysit some human. That is until he gets his eyes on Xavier and finds out that he is his mate. Of course he doesn’t do things easy, hell he scared the hell out of his mate when he shifted twice. With the dangers going on around them he will do everything he can in his power to keep him safe. Then they are sent in on a rescue mission, what they find shocks them silly. Life as they know it is about to change.
I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series. One that I will have to read over and over. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story. It was the perfect story for me and I loved it. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Catherine puts out a book I am usually there to eat them up. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
