Blurb: When the heart longs for one more.

Daughter of the Horizon Pack alpha, Rain is ordered to find a mate immediately or else. Desperate, she takes off and literally runs into alpha wolf shifter Jet and his beta mate Garrett from a rival wolf shifter pack. Hearing her predicament and having met her once before, Jet steps up to help, promising to mate her and save her from an unknown fate.

Jet’s actions set into motion a series of brutal events and leaves Garrett questioning himself and his relationship, as he looks at Rain with a skeptical eye, unable to understand Jet’s blindness to the woman’s underlying deviousness. Out to expose Rain for the fraud she is, Garrett strives to find proof she carries the blame for murders along the pack borders which puts the groups on the brink of outright war.

Jet works to keep peace in his household and between their packs, convince Garrett that Rain’s innocent, as well as keep his hands off the beautiful woman who makes his inner wolf growl with need. Until Garrett and Rain open their eyes to the truth, he knows they’ll never become the matehood nature intended, as a bonded threesome.

Can they come together as bonded mates in time to help save their packs? Will Garrett be able to finally see the truth about Rain before it’s too late?

Review: Rain is the daughter of a power Alpha couple in a very strict old-fashioned pack. She has heard of the non-traditional ways of the neighbouring rival pack and is trying to get a peek of the new Alpha mating ritual. Jet comes across her and immediately feels a pull. Rain is only 18 and hasn’t even shifted for the first time so he decides to bid his time.

Years pass, Rain has left the pack to live among humans in the city. He father has called her home demanding her to choose a mate this weekend or he will. She goes to think and runs into Jet again, who has mated with a male Garret. Jet agrees to help her by taking her as a mate so she doesn’t have to mate with someone she doesn’t know or like. Garret thinks it’s a plot to take their pack.

This isn’t a bad story as shifter stories go. It’s rather a basic plot, one pack trying to claim another’s land. It felt a little like it may have been part of a series but I couldn’t find if it was. I would have like more on how Garett and Jet met and a bit more of the threesome. A lot of the sex is off page and what is on is pretty tasteful. The only thing is that none of the actual threesome sex is on the page and I would have liked to seen a little of that.

Overall, it was a good story. I did like it.

If you like, werewolves, threesomes, mystery and a cleaner, yet still sexy story this is for you.

Review: When Zachary spends Thanksgiving with a group of friends that share a unique relationship, it only makes him long to have one of his own. While he may not fully understand the inner workings of the threesome that is Paul, Rex and Andie, he can see how much the three of them care for one another. And after spending some time with Zach, Andie thinks she knows just what to get him for Christmas.

Jorell is less than pleased when his job sends him to Alaska, of all places. But when he is charged with setting up Holiday activities along with the equally attractive Zach and Lauren, his prospects just might be looking better. Lauren is at the resort in an effort to forget about a life altering decision she is about to make after being abandoned by her ex when she learned she was pregnant.

Individually they share a feeling of loneliness and a fear that they will never find someone to accept who they are, or what they represent. Two bi-sexual men and a woman being forced to make a decision out of regret. Together though, they can build a strong foundation of love, trust, and commitment… they can have a family.

This was such a sweet, romantic story about three unlikely people who found their way to each other through circumstance. Alone, they each have the same fear, that there is no one out there that could love what they represent. Jorell and Zach are attracted to men and women equally, but don’t believe they will ever find anyone else that shares those feelings. And Lauren is left alone and expecting, abandoned by the father, feeling that adoption is her only hope. As well, why would any man in his right mind want to be with a woman who is carrying another man’s child, much less help her raise that child. Sadly, she doesn’t find any one man who does, she finds two!

This is the first story in this series that I’ve read, I believe every story is a ménage, and Richards has grabbed my attention. I loved the characters were written with the promise of a strong family unit once they connected, and I’m anxious to see what other storylines she has provided, what other predicaments she can portray with words. If you are looking for a fast, fun, fresh read with just the right amount of passion and angst, then this is the perfect short story.

Georgia Knights

by

Julia Talbot

When anthropologist Georgia Cortez heads to rural Georgia from New Mexico, she’s on the trail of a juicy old legend. Haley Falls seems like just the place for old-time ghost stories and spooky hauntings, but she’s on the hunt for something far rarer, a survival of an old sect of medieval knights.

Caid and Alton are Haley Fall natives, and they used to be best friends. A falling out years ago ended in them not speaking, even after Alt left town and returned older, if not wiser. They unite when it comes to a nosy scholar like Georgia picking apart their heritage, and putting their whole town in danger. When boys meet girl, though, they decide wooing is far better than scaring the lady off, and they set about distracting Georgia in the best way.

While their three way romance heats up, so does the intrigue in Haley Falls, until the three of them are facing a danger far worse than falling in love with each other.

Blurb: It’s all in her head. Until she falls into the hands – and hearts – of two cowboys.

Sexual dysfunction. The words make Sybill cringe, but after one too many failed relationships, she has to face reality. Her O-button is broken, big time. Sick of sitting on the sexual sidelines, she books a week at Boot Knockers Ranch. If a passel of rugged cowboys vying to bring her bliss can’t get her off, nothing will.

Hugh had planned to sit out this week’s rotation of sexual therapy, but when he spots sultry Sybill, he pulls rank. His bone-deep urge to possess her isn’t enough to coax elusive orgasms out of her body, though. And his resolve to give the lady whatever she needs wavers when she shyly makes a mind-blowing request.

Riggs stepped aside when Hugh muscled in to claim Sybill, but he jumps at the chance to fulfill her ultimate fantasy – a threesome. But once they come together, all barriers are stripped away, exposing his love for the one man – and woman – he’d break every last rule to make his own.

Warning: This ain’t your daddy’s ranch. Contains cowboys administering sexual therapy to frustrated ladies – and each other. Fresh batteries recommended. You’re gonna need ’em!

Review: Pushin Buttons is the first book in this series. I will say it felt like a series that was already established since it didn’t talk much about the background of the Boot Knockers Ranch. It almost felt like a spinoff or second book. I would have liked to know why it was formed, whose Idea, it was mentioned the Cowboys owned and ran it but never said which cowboys or why. I would have liked a bit more detail on that. Also, Hugh kept mentioning a first love Travis but we got very little on that.

Having said that, I loved the story. Here is a little about the story.
Hugh is the Master of Games or the leader. He usually only fills in if one of the men needs a break, is off. He also does a few thirds if Riggs needs one. When he sees Sybill, he wants her in ways he has never wanted a woman and fights for her. Riggs also wants Sybill though she isn’t his chosen client for the week he too fights for her, not caring if he is breaking the rules. (Which there seems to be a lot of rules between the men, which I would have liked to know more about.) When Hugh wins, that leaves Riggs with no client for the week.

Riggs and Hugh secretly hook up on their down time and have several threesomes with clients. Riggs wants more with Hugh. Hugh has been burned nice and keeps his heart shut off. Will Sybill break those barriers? Will Riggs be left out in the cold? Will Sybill ever be able to orgasm? I’m not telling. You will have to read the book.

It is a character driven story and I absolutely loved all the characters. There were a few cowboys mentioned in short spurts and I hope that means we will be getting stories on them soon. The cowboys give sexual therapy to women with problems. This story is about Sybill, a guest at the ranch. She has come for therapy because she can’t find sexual release and has never had an orgasm. She is a scientist, not a skinny model type on the outside but on the inside she is sexy, fun, and eclectic. I loved that this character is not your average romance beauty. She isn’t perfect, she is very likeable. Hugh is mysterious and sexy and Riggs is just plain hot.
The plot of the story is very sexual since it is a sex therapy ranch. There is a lot of sex and I will say it is extremely steamy and never gets monotonous.

If you like hot cowboys, dude ranches, strong female characters, broken men, broken women, a sweet romance, a sexy ménage, and lots of steamy hot sex, this is definitely for you.

Blurb: Sequel to The Sarran Plague

Syn Sinclair is one of the women taken from Earth to Sarran to replenish the fem population. While still en route on the Brightstar, Syn meets the Sarran Elder, TeZaron and thinks he looks down on her because of her checkered past. Upon landing, Nafer, TeZaron and TeBron’s offspring, recognizes Syn as his “Mommie,” something the Elders didn’t realize because of the mind blocks they had placed on each other to ensure the success of the mission to Earth.

Syn, a former prostitute and drug addict, left home at sixteen because she was sexually abused by her father and his friends. She made it out of the gutter and into the halls of higher education, getting her Masters in Psychology with a specialization in PTSD. Now she’s afraid her Warrior Pair won’t accept her because of her past. As soon as they bring her to their home, she works to gain their respect.

Supported by her Warrior Pair and their son Nafer, Syn settles into her new household with grace and energy. She is happy, very happy, except for one niggling doubt. Although she knows her Warriors have accepted her, she worries how others will view her new social position on Sarran. In particular, a fem from Syn’s past lets everyone know she’s unfit to BondStir with the High Lords. Madeline Dixon-Howard sees Syn as a blight on the new society.

Additionally, an even deeper evil is hiding in the Sarran government. Someone has sold information to the roach-like Zyptz, someone who planted a bomb and listening devices in the homes. Someone doesn’t want Earth women to mix into the Sarran gene pool. Syn’s insights as a psychologist combined with her new Psy powers just might help her Warriors find out who the traitors are and devise a plan to capture them.

Review: Syn is on a battle star being delivered to the Sarran world where all the Fems (I’m guessing females) and Femspring (I’m guessing female children) have been destroyed by a plague. The people live n triads… two bonded males (Warrior pairs) and a female to have their children. The fem of the triads are worshipped. The planet will die out with all the fems dead so the earth women had been carefully chosen and brought to the planet with all their worldly possessions. Syn and Anya have cats and it turns out cats also are rather worshipped. They have a special way of mind communicating on Sarran and can locate listening devices, bombs etc and kill rodents.
Syn is immediately bonded with two of the council members and elders and their 6-year-old son, which I felt the cats and the boy made the story. They were adorable!

. First of all, this is a sequel and I suggest you read book one The Sarran Plague first. I didn’t. I wish I had. I could follow the book pretty good, there is pretty decent back story dropping and later in the book there is a part where it’s pretty much all explained.

This is a MMF story so there are some girly bits, though it’s not very explicit and the sex is sensuous and tastefully done, in my opinion. I also liked that all the sexual attention wasn’t just on the female, it was well-balanced. My biggest issue was the language. There was a sort of language of the Sarran’s and I had difficulty figuring out what some of the words were. In my opinion, it didn’t really need this, because the world was pretty well done and you had a good feel they were on another planet. I at least wish there had been a dictionary put in the front with the special language words.

If you like a sci-fi story with lots of intriguing characters, cute kids, cats, fabricators (I wish I had one) different worlds, warriors, MMF bonds, and some very sensual sex this is for you.

Blurb: When John O’Brien met the love of his life, Paul Atwater, he knew they were meant to be together forever. Years later, when he met the girl of his dreams, Beth Mitchell, he was equally confident of their mutual destiny. Now that the three lovers have established a successful triadic relationship, what’s to stop them from making their happily ever after official?
Just about everything, as it turns out.

This isn’t the first time John’s had to drag Paul kicking and screaming into a deeper level of commitment. And while Paul can grudgingly admit the changes have consistently been improvements, it only makes him more certain their lucky streak is bound to run out that much sooner. Paul genuinely loves Beth, which has helped keep a damper on his jealousy so far. But she can give John the thing he now desperately wants—something impossible for Paul to compete with: a baby.

Is marriage and starting a family next in the cards for our intrepid threesome? Or will this new phase of their unconventional relationship prove to be the one that finally sends Paul packing? And when all of John’s careful plans prove inadequate in the face of tragedy, who will still be around to help pick up the pieces?

Review: There is so much to say about this book. I love reading all different kinds of books. Gay romance, straight romance, but now I am finding a love for Ménage romance all together. This book is the third in a series and I cannot stop freaking out about how great it is.
John is a fantastic character with a lot on his plate. The more he gets through the tougher things seem to get for him. And honestly, it sucks royally. But when he meets Paul, he knows something is going right. He feels like they are forever destined to be together. To love each other. And then the two of them meet Beth. She is the perfect person to bring them into the world of love they have never considered before.

Everything about these characters shows they are like living breathing people. And it works out for both the author and the readers.
The story itself is fantastic. Fast paced, interesting, and verging on erotic, it shows just how amazing things can be when someone embraces the tough trials of life. And throughout the novel, John does just that: embraces the tough trials. Sure, everything seems like it can work out for the worst, but he figures things out. He, Paul, and Beth are on top of things without a problem.

This novel is one of those books that will help you understand and enjoy learning of the ménage romance life also known as the love triangle. In the end, you feel like you love the characters like you love your own family. I loved this novel and I think you all will too.

Review: Adam enjoys men more than he enjoys women, although he has dated women more than he has dated men. But, due to his job, he is afraid to go after what really does it for him. His “friends with benefits” Janine is his go to when he needs relief, as he is hers. One night Janine decides to add her friend Paul into the mix. She knows how Adam feels and wants to help both men. Maybe they were “the one” for each other. She was willing to orchestrate to see what might happen.

Let’s just say it was an amazing success. However, Adam was still unsure how his partners in the firm he worked for would react to him being in a relationship with a man.

This was a short story, but I enjoyed it very much. The relationship between Paul and Adam turns out to be…oops…can’t tell you what happens exactly or what would be the point of you reading it? So go ahead, buy the book. You won’t be disappointed. Not a lot of sex in here, but what is VERY nice for sure.

Blurb: Saying “I love you” has never been easy for Dr. Paul Atwater. It took him years to say the words to the love of his life, John O’Brien. And yet, as they open their relationship to a vivacious blonde over the summer, Beth Mitchell seems determined to worm her way not only into his life, but also into his cold, prickly heart as well. No matter how hard he tries to resist.

Fearing exposure could ruin their careers, friendships, even family bonds, Paul and his lovers move forward cautiously. But regardless of their efforts to be discreet, prying eyes threaten to reveal their secret. Troubled romantic pasts come back to haunt them. Attempted blackmail by coworkers, a disapproving mother, and multiple bids to break up the threesome by Beth’s friends all threaten the tender feelings and fragile trust starting to build between them.

Facing the scrutiny of a judgmental world, will the triad buckle under the disapproval of their taboo relationship? Will jealousies and insecurities cause it to crumble from within? Or will they find the strength to choose this new and surprising love over careers, friends, even family?

Review: I cannot help the fact this novel is amazing. Just as the other one prior, I think it is for those that want to read something new. Shanyn is one of those authors to keep an eye out on. When I started this novel, I found myself fascinated. And now, I am glad I went for it. I would highly recommend this series be read in order.

The more I read about Paul, John, and Beth, the more I fell in love with their characterization. The author cleanly executed the characters and made them living, breathing people. It makes for something so interesting and never lets the reader become bored. The way she writes them makes them seem like they are honest, amazing characters with their flaws just as people do.

The storyline stands out so beautifully, so strongly, it will intrigue the reader. As Paul and John pursue further into their relationship, Beth works on worming her way into their love lives. And it begins to upset them both. Do they understand she wants to be with them? To be a part of the beautiful love they share?

Over all, this novel is beautiful, amazing and then some. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next. This novel is so worth the money and the time. Go out and get it. You will not regret it. But remember: read this series in order as this is the second book.

Blurb: Secretary Beth Mitchell has a problem. A 6’2″ gorgeous, blue-eyed problem. Office crushes universally suck, but she reckons hers truly takes the cake. For not only is sweet, charming John O’Brien her best friend at work, he’s also taken. Not that it would matter if he wasn’t, because to top it all off, John’s gay.

Or so Beth thought… until he asks her out on a date. And in the span of a few moments, all Beth’s preconceived notions about John come tumbling down when he asks, “You understand people come in more flavors than just gay or straight, don’t you?”

Being raised in a small Midwestern town by a single mother gave Beth a solid grounding in realism and a strong work ethic, but did nothing to temper her driving ambition or quell her sense of adventure. So when John proposes something she never dared to imagine, Beth leaps at the opportunity, however untraditional, to be with him.

Only John’s boyfriend, medical resident Paul Atwater, isn’t so sure. When Beth shows up at their apartment proposing they give nothing less than a triadic relationship a try, he thinks the whole thing’s a recipe for disaster. He argues, “There’s got to be more to a successful ménage à trois than a nine date plan!”

For that’s exactly the strategy Beth lays out. Nine Dates follows Beth, John, and Paul as they get to know each other. Tender romantic moments, steamy physical encounters, a strong dose of sarcasm, and brownies a la mode all feature heavily. Is it possible for a committed, monogamous relationship to welcome a new member, much less withstand the invasion? Is true love always the right path to follow? And just how complicated can things get?

Review: One of my favorite genres is MMF. Unfortunately, it hard to find stories that have the dynamics that speak to me. Basically, stories where all partners are equal. I was tickled to death to find this new series.

John and Beth work together. John often stops by Beth’s desk and flirts. She’d thought to take it to another level…until she heard he was gay. When John finally ask her out to lunch, she is confused and maybe a bit angry, thinking he was trying to have his cake and eat it, too. I felt her pain, when she learned that not only was Paul full aware of Beth, but asking her out was his idea.
This is a fabulous beginning. There is no insta-love. There is plenty of snark, as Paul and Beth get to know each other, and figure out what they will be to John. Even the realistic portrayal of a surgical resident, worked for me.

Beth is smart and a grown ass woman. She’s not looking for a knight in shining armor, much less two. Nor is she apologizing for her unconventional relationship. John is a sweetie, and a tad ballsy. I love his explanation of how he can love more than one. But, Paul is my favorite. He’s got some serious issues and uses a smart mouth to hide his insecurities. Watching him and Beth develop their own relationship was fun.

Now, there is still room for this trio to grow.  A lot of the sex scenes centered around Beth, and I hope that changes with the next couple of books.  Emotionally, I found the voices to be distinct and realistic.  I even liked the honest portrayal of a medical resident.  Paul’s time is definitely not his own, and he feel left out…a lot.

Definitely recommend for fans of this genre.

Review: We know that Garrick is crazy about Savannah, and he’s obviously also in love and lust with Rhian, so what is left now is to get Rhian and Savannah to take a close look at each other and hope sparks fly. First the only thing that seems to happen is jealousy, heartache, and on Rhian’s part depression and lack of self-worth. I hate to see this character take so little stock in himself. Of course having Garrick out-of-town when Rhian breaks down is the plot tool that introduces Savannah as the new hero, allowing friendship and trust to build between the two. She steps up when Garrick can’t and helps Rhian through one crisis after another.
Emotional and health crisis aside, a new familial twist is also added to the drama. It’s good to see Rhian take to the caregiver role with the “mysterious stranger” and good that the three find a way to work things out. Once Rhian accepts his role in their relationship he takes charge and till fill my fantasies, takes Garrick! Of course this is just one big femme sexual fantasy for me, but hey it’s fiction and romance to boot, so why not? Have fun with this heavy helping of drama, love, lust and of course hot hockey players. This is a fun, adventurous twist of a series, I enjoyed each separate type of relationship, and how they were woven together in the end. A hat trick indeed!

Blurb:  Tia Brooks left her home in Marcus Deleon’s wolf pack out of duty to her own people. As the last female dragon shape shifter, it falls on her to reestablish the species. Her escort, Loren Cole, is taking her to the dragons’ king: Bryn. Tia barely remembers Bryn at all from their time as drakelings, and she certainly never saw Loren before he showed up at Marcus’. Preservation of their kind means mating, which shouldn’t be a problem…except she doesn’t want to be a queen.

When a figure from Loren’s past attempts to quench all chances of their survival, Bryn and Loren chase the enemy into the depths of the earth, desperate to reach Tia before it’s too late

Review:  I haven’t read many stories with dragon shifters so I was pleasantly surprised with this find. I will start off by saying I got a little confused at first and it felt like part of another series, not a first book. So, I did a little research and found it is actually a spin-off of the Dark Reign series. After the first few chapters, it stands alone pretty well. Personally, I wish books that are spun from others series would say so in the front and have reading order and series numbers where they are easy to find.

This book is about Tia, the last female dragon shifter that has been in hiding and Bryn the king of the remaining dragon shifters and his consort and captain of the guards Loren. The story is good, but I found it a little confusing. I can’t say much about why I feel this way without giving spoilers. There was a little mystery but it came and went very fast. I wish it had unfolded much more slowly even if it made the book longer.

I really loved all the characters. Each held their own personality well. I found the sex very hot. I will warn you that the shifters do shift during sex and have sex in shifted forms. I actually loved this. I found it different and hot.

If you’re looking for something different to read and like dragon shifters, mmf ménage, Kings, reluctant queens, and very hot sex with shifted shifters this is for you!

Review: This book was downright disappointing. I found there to be no story behind it. Nothing interesting. The book was sex scene after sex scene after sex scene. The characters were strong, sure, but the story was flat and there was no plot whatsoever. This book was a total disappointment. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone.

Review: Ivy and Kiran are roommates and friends with benefits. They have lost their jobs, and will soon be out of a place to live. Ivy is going to a charity event her with her cousin. She has a blind date that is a mystery; Kiran is going also he got a blind date through a match making service, though Ivy finds he borrowed the money from a bad Loan shark. Four people will be granted their wish, she of course is wishing for money for a place to live, and Kiran is wishing for money to pay off the loan.

I found the story a bit confusing and very predictable. I do have to say I loved Kiran a lot. He is one hot and cocky character. I didn’t care for Ivy she was, sort of, just there. I think the story would have been really hot without her in it at all. To me she was just fodder for a threesome that also fell a bit bland with her tossed in. The scenes with just Robert and Kiran were hot and sexy. I think this would have been much improved by just leaving Ivy out.

Blurb: Sheila has always known her husband Pete is bisexual — his attraction to guys is part of what attracts her to him in the first place. But since they’ve been together, he hasn’t been with anyone other than her, male or female. Still, she can’t help but wonder if he doesn’t miss sex with men.

Sheila wants to reward Pete for being so loving and faithful … and she’d be lying if she didn’t admit that the idea of watching her husband have sex with another man turns her on something fierce. So she offers him a threesome, on three conditions: one, it only happens once; two, she gets to watch; three, and/or participate.

Pete jumps at the chance, but is hesitant when he discovers who Sheila has picked as their third wheel — his best friend Bryan, who has been half in love with Pete for years. When Sheila propositions him, he quickly jumps on board. But Bryan has never been with a woman before, and Pete’s afraid their friendship will suffer once they have sex.

Will Sheila be able to juggle both men and pull off a hot evening for Pete’s sake?

Review: This short story was quite nice and fun. Sheila is married to Pete and he is bisexual. Now the good little wife is a girl who loves boys who love boys, and the fact that her husband might be missing a certain male part pushes her into considering a threesome For Pete’s Sake. So who better to join them than Pete’s own best gay friend, who has been in love with him forever? Well that was a bit awkward but the guys and gal manage to overcome all shyness and get to the hot stuff.

Thing is that this was a very good idea, but it could be better. The fact that this story is told with Sheila’s voice gives you a clue as what to expect. We have a strong female character here that will jump at the opportunity to make her sexual life as spicy as she can. Nothing wrong with that.

The idea of a ménage was absolutely brilliant, why I do envy her, but I got a bit frustrated with the sexual scenes themselves and the hasty/hazy description. The author here shied away from some acts that would have heightened the heat level up quite a few notches. There was a 70-30% focus on girly bits vs. boy bits here, as in the sexual action for the woman was more explicitly described that that of the guys. The prelude or foreplay was given more attention that the whole rest of the fun and all in all, there were things that were hastily hidden away as if the author was afraid of revealing too much. What with this being an erotic story the explicitly described scenes expected were a bit lacking.

Still as I said, it was a fun read and enjoyable one at that.

Review Take What You Want is book two in the Rock God series.  These are stand a-lone books that follow other characters from the previous ones. This one is about Zander, singer and guitarist in the band Ivory Tower. Zander is bi-sexual and got outed in the first book Fall For Me along with Dagger Drummand (Yes, you get a bit more of Daggar and how he’s doing later in this book). After the scandal Zander’s girlfriend Mia breaks it off and he goes to Martha’s Vineyard and rents a secluded house to get away and regroup. Chase is the caretaker that lives in the guesthouse with his fiancé Danni. He and Danni are very open with each other and plan to marry. Danni finds out Chase has a secret fantasy of being with a man though he says he has no plans to act this out. She encourages him to so they can get past it. He meets Zander and sparks fly between the two and Danni encourages Chase to act on his attraction and get over it. Things aren’t as easy as it seems.

I have to say this is a very hot story.  The romance with Danni and Case is hot and perfect, and then toss in a sexy rock star and it’s off the charts smokin’! The story line is interesting with Chase trying to find himself, and Zander trying to recover from his past. I loved the emotional depth of all the characters especially Chase and Zander. I loved the fact that this ménage wasn’t all about the woman but trying to make a relationship for all three as equals. The only thing I have to say that I didn’t like was there was so much sex and the book was so long that by the end I was exhausted. I found my-self skipping through some of the sex scenes about ¾ through. I found the ending very satisfying!

If you like friends to lovers, stories about finding yourself, coming out, rock stars and a good, steamy ménage this is definitely for you!

Out to expose Rain, Garrett strives to find proof she carries the blame for murders that take the two packs to the brink of outright war.

Jet works to keep peace in his household and between their packs. He needs to convince Garrett that Rain’s innocent, and keep his hands off the beautiful woman who makes his inner wolf growl with need, while striving to become the bonded threesome nature intended.

Can they come together as bonded mates in time to help save their packs? Will Garrett be able to finally see the truth about Rain before it’s too late?

Review: Humans; Shifters who haven’t shifted yet ~ no matter their age; Betas; Alphas; Supreme Alphas – Got it?  OK now we can begin.  Ahh, the things one learns about Shifters along the way.  Writer Cheyenne Meadows brings us into the world of Rain, Jet, and Garrett.  The writing is choppy at first but eventually settles into a bounding rhythm.

Turbulent Rain is a Male/Male romance story with an introduction of a Female.  And it is written as such.  The scenes of sizzle are between the two mates Jet and Garrett.  The introduction of Rain into their relationship sexually is well done but stunted. The overall story is well crafted with certain plot points given the Jedi’s keystroke where Rain is concerned.  The focus as this crime tale unfolds is, of course, Rain’s rebellion at being forced to choose a mate.  But we don’t get so lost in the rebellion that we forget that Rain is female.  Therein lays the main issue with this otherwise wonderful story.

I began reading this story as I was taught:  find the main character and follow them.  I presumed from the title that this was Rain’s story and it is not.  This is Rain, Jet, and Garrett’s story – and should be read as such.  Kudos to Cheyenne Meadows for teaching this old reader to see with new eyes.

Blurb: Kel has seen his share of weird throughout his life, but when London asks him to sub for her and her boyfriend, that tops the list. He isn’t gay. He isn’t bi. He definitely isn’t submissive. And with an underlying case of post-traumatic stress disorder from years in the military, anything BDSM just sounds dangerous.

But he also doesn’t want to see his friends hurt, and he’s positive that will happen if they get together with strangers from the Internet. London plays things too close to the vest for him to get a good enough read on her, but Kel trusts Ty, even if he doesn’t think he’ll enjoy turning over control. It’ll be a one-off, it’ll be a little weird, and they’ll all go back to normal.

He’s not sure what to do when a little weird turns out to be something he wants.

Review: A Little Weird is a little bit believable friends to lovers ménage, that includes two damaged minds, a hot and physically strong redhead, and her Dominant and cool-headed lover. The steady, sexually adventurous couple attempt to bring a friend into their ménage as a sub, knowing he’s going to be a challenge but determined to make it work. All odds aside, the scenes seem successful, and the three build on their trust and attraction. The PTSD situations are palpable, and you can just tell London is barely this side of crazy but in a good way. For those who are more into m/m, be warned that London plays a central role, and is very involved in each sexual encounter. I do enjoy the psychological D/s situations in storytelling, and this story is a good example of that. No bondage unless you can count a blindfold, no whips, paddles or other use of pain; mostly D/s and edging.

Blurb: Willie Mae Dollar is lost in a blizzard in the backwoods of West Virginia when she lands at the home of life partners Jeff Antonetti and Linc Davis. She knows they are in a committed relationship, but that doesn’t stop her from being taken with Jeff and then Linc.

Although not a homewrecker, she can see where it would be great to have both men.

Jeff is very accepting of the idea. The partners have been looking for another person to add to their life, and Willie fits the bill. Linc has a problem because he has spent his life self-identified as an out, loud, and proud man. Willie challenges that and with the help of her adoptive Hispanic family tries to convince her guys that she is their lady.

Review:  Jeff and Linc are life partners, and have been for 20 years.  They are looking for a third, but Linc is strictly dickly so he says. Jeff is Bi but hasn’t had a woman since college, before he met Linc. Willie gets lost in a storm and ends up at Jeff and Linc’s cabin.  Has their third landed on their doorstep and better than that, is this their surrogate mother for their children?

I liked this story. It was written in a unique way with Willie talking out loud a lot. The story is a lot of dialogue and most of it is Willie even when she is alone.  I liked all the characters and even though this is a second book in a series you really wouldn’t know. It stands perfectly well and makes me want to read the first book just for the heck of it. There is a sweet, very romantic fairy tale type of romance, charming characters and lots of sex.

Now for what I didn’t like.  Just a few minutes after meeting each other, Willie and Jeff, a man in a loving relationship that hasn’t had a woman in over twenty years, go at it on the kitchen table. When Linc walks in, he isn’t mad at all, but shows a bit of concern.  Then after dinner they all end up in bed and he keeps saying he is strictly Dickly, but he goes at Willie every chance he gets, too. She also proclaims over and over she is a good girl and don’t have sex casually or one night stands.  Jeff announces he wants her to have their children and Linc says they can keep her but he still isn’t into women. This all makes the story very unbelievable. However saying this I loved the story it was sweet, hot, sexy and so romantic. I will be looking for the first book to see what if it’s about Jeff and Linc, since I would love to know more about them.

Recommendation: I recommend this to anyone that likes a bi-racial story, Hot Drs. Sexy PA’s blizzards and lots of three-way sexes. Warning this does have mostly Male on Female sex and is light on the male on male sex.

After a brutal attack, Sari’s taken to the Sacred City, exposing her to the secret lives of the Rayians who rule in the long lost queen’s absence. It’s in this darkly sexual world where she first meets the legendary consorts.

Too handsome and talented for their own good, Calder and Taryen have learned to trust only each other in order to survive. Bred to be feared warriors and exclusive companions to a queen, instead they’re slaves to other Rayians desires for them.

Their brutal lives make the two consorts hesitant to care for Sari when she’s unexpectedly dumped in their laps, but they soon discover she’s different from the cruel women they’re used to serving. Drawn to Sari on a soul deep level, Calder and Taryen can’t seem to stop themselves from going back for one more taste of the beautiful outsider… even when it puts the fate of the entire world in jeopardy.

Review: Oh Holy Mother of Hades, what a story. What a book. What an unexpected surprise to have found such a lovely read. See I’m always wary when I read ménage that involves a pair of males and a female, because most books I’ve read have been such a disappointment, but Oh My God, this book was excellent.

The story takes place in a world that Ms. Moon created with (I can only imagine) such care and devotion. The planet Auroria has a peculiar lifestyle and magic. The females are not only respected there, but called divine, especially those of the Capital. They are called Sisters of The Great Mother (the Queen) and each of them forms a bond with a pair of life mates (two men). The energy between them comes then to a balance and the bond is a very strong one. The Queen herself has great powers and the life-force of the very planet is linked with her. When the Queen is happy the sun shines bright, when she is sad rain falls from the sky and when she is mad well… you get the picture. The Queen becomes stronger once she has created her bond with her consorts. They must also be very strong and powerful to help balance her and keep her happy so the rest of the planet can benefit from her powers. Hence, they are joined with their Queen since birth, their time of birth close together. They share a life time only to be driven apart from their Queen for one year when they are seventeen. During that year the Queen must stay away from her consorts to appreciate their presence and never take it for granted and the Consorts themselves learn how to best please and serve her so when they finally come back, the sun will shine and their bond will remain sacred forever.

This is the world we dive into. This is the concept and their culture. This is how the very ménage that could be trite transforms to a majestic relationship.

But the last Queen was murdered along with one of her consorts and the Princess was rushed out of the walls of the Palace to safety. Ever since, the planet plunged in darkness and people forgot what sunshine was like. The commoners suffered in poverty and the Council of the Sisters gained great power, their greed insatiable, and their hunger for blood terrifying. The few Royalist still devoted to the Queen are powerless and unable to prevent the most horrible thing of all, the abuse, violation and molestation of the Queen’s Consorts in the hands of the Sisters. The pair that share the same soul with the Queen, the very one that are supposed to be hers and hers alone are treated no more than sex-slaves and constantly tortured by vicious women in order to kill the moral of those who still believe in the Queen’s return.

No, this is not just a story with a threesome thrown in there and focusing on the sex scenes. This is a wholesome story of love, lust, magic and power. This is a story that will grab your heart in one fierce hold and shake you to the core. You’ll shudder in the violence that is hidden inside these pages, you’ll want to kill, maim, split in two and rip hearts out. You’ll want to be there in the midst of the battlefield, because there will be battles fighting when they make the final stand.

And you’ll fall in love divine. You’ll feel the brilliance of something unique and you’ll probably think “what a great, great read”. I truly loved this book. Everything in it called to me. Before I knew it I was so much engrossed with the characters, their story and suffering that the anger on their behalf took me by surprise, an excellent achievement for the author, quite a talented hand there.

And I could stand here writing and writing forever for this one, but I think I have already said enough. I have given you the set up where the story lies but you’ll have to take that step and jump into this world yourself and feel the story first hand, I can only say that it’s beyond worth it. Strongly recommended.

Review:  What an exciting, page turning, sexy little twist on The Sleepy Hollow classic! I read Whiskey Dreams and was so enthralled in Brom and John’s story; I had to grab Haunted Passions immediately. I loved that Rose took this classic tale and made it her own, right down to the Headless Horseman’s motivations.

A spooky little love triangle, with a twist, all three participants are willing and able! The intimacy between characters as well as plot and story are clearly defined and captivating; Rose has a knack for attention to detail, right down to that pesky blade of grass.

In the sequel to Whiskey Dreams, Rose takes the forbidden relationship between Brom and John a step further with the addition of Katrina Van Tassel. Brom is unabashedly in love with John Crane. The sexy, if a bit naive, school teacher. He’s also in love with the equally sexy and naive Katrina Van Tassel, Sleepy Hollow’s most eligible Mistress. When Brom and Katrina announce their engagement, John is all but destroyed and despondent. In a moment of weakness, he does something unthinkable, something that sets him right into the Headless Horseman’s sight!

Not only do we get lots of page time with the force of nature that is Brom and John when these two get tangled up together, but Rose adds Katrina to the mix. Creating one of the sexiest threesomes ever written! Just as this unlikely threesome are trying to work out the kinks in their would-be “relationship”, the Horseman makes his move. When John figures out exactly what, or who he is after, he will stop at nothing to protect the people he loves.

I’d call this an Erotic tale that is sensual, intriguing, mysterious and Romantic; above all it’s a fascinating Love story. Rose reinvents this story and gives it a breath of fresh air with the love triangle and her murderous ghostly version of the Headless Horseman. Warning; there are so extremely erotic scenes between Brom and John as well as Brom, John and Katrina that were so steamy, I thought my Kindle would catch on fire!
