Talk Dirty To Me

(Devils Pride MC 02)
by

Jessie G.

As a secret agent for the DEA, Snake’s gone deep into Devils Pride MC with the hope of bringing down the head of Miami’s lucrative drug trade and finds himself saddled with the club’s volatile and secretive SA instead. Unfortunately, after years as partners doing shit neither of them wanted to do for reasons neither of them felt comfortable sharing, Snake considers Trick his best friend. Now he’ll do anything to repair the damage his own necessary lies did to their friendship because, while Trick may have walked away from the MC, Snake needs someone he trusts to have his back.

Meanwhile, Snake’s contact at the DEA has him tied up in knots. The sexy voice and inappropriate comments have him walking around with a permanent set of blue balls. Life undercover is lonely and he lives for every phone call, but his own personal Deep Throat is skittish about committing to a date once Snake returns to headquarters. As far as Snake’s concerned, they only have one shot to build something together and he’s not willing to waste it.

Greg knows he’s not Snake’s type, or anyone’s for that matter. Former love interests called him plain, chubby, and boring. More comfortable in his tech cave than with people, he’s a grade A nerd who isn’t exactly GQ material. Normally he would never be brave enough to flirt with anyone—much less the very hot and very dangerous ginger who’d been starring in his nightly fantasies—but Snake needed something to keep him from getting lost undercover. What started out as a helping hand quickly became an integral part of their relationship—if one could call a five year phone conversation a relationship—and Greg is terrified that once Snake’s sees the wizard behind the curtain, he’ll lose the only man he’s ever loved.

Now the DEA has called Snake home to plan the next stage of the mission, leaving Greg no more places to hide. When fantasy and reality collide, will it be everything Snake hopes for or everything Greg fears? The trick will be staying alive long enough to figure out the answer.

(Please note: Snake’s bisexuality is only mentioned. It is not gone into.)

Interview

Today I’m very lucky to be interviewing Jessie G author of Talk Dirty to Me. Hi Jessie, thank you for agreeing to this interview.

It’s my pleasure and thank you so much for hosting Snake and Greg today. They were so much fun to write and I’m loving this world that’s evolving in Devils Pride. The growing cast of characters, the big and little mysteries, the steamy hot biker goodness…yeah, I’m in love and I hope you guys are too!

Give us an interesting fun fact or a few about your book or series:

I was at the Americade Motorcycle Rally in Lake George the year before Tricking Chase was released and had just finished an MM biker book that fell short of what I love about biker books. The danger and the mystique surrounding this culture is just ripe for sexy storytelling, and while that book was heavy on the sex, it was woefully light on the story and pitifully sparse on actual biker related details. I found myself obsessing about it a little, and seeing all those bikers in one place got my wheels turning. When I got back, I had the synopsis written and Devils Pride was born.

How did you come up with the title of your book or series?

I have no idea, though I usually have my titles way before I even have a working synopsis of the story. My characters are so interconnected now through each series that I know who they are, I know what their background stories are, and in very general terms, I know what their book will be about. That information is ruminating and marinating and then the book title hits me, I write it on the flow chart, and that’s that. It’s pretty much the same with the series title. I consider both the series and book title to be part of the synopsis, and they become another bullet point in the story line that I use to stay in a certain direction. In a few books, you’ll find the title is a line (or part of a line) in the story.

Have you ever given one of your characters the personality of someone you know?

Not the full personality, no, but there are a little bits of me, my family, and my friends in each of my characters. Could be a phrase or expression or an attitude…something that sticks with me and that I usually find funny.

What do you think makes a good story?

Give me characters I can empathize with and a plot that’s involves more than them just getting into each other’s pants. Stretch my imagination, but be subtle—there is a fine line between suspending belief and finding something ridiculous.

What does your family think of your writing?

My oldest son is my cover artist, my husband will pinch hit as my PA at events if Michelle isn’t available, and my youngest son never fails to ask me how I’m torturing my characters. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system or more encouraging cheerleaders. Beyond them, I would say of those that know, the response has been positive. They are definitely curious as to why I write MM, but that hasn’t stopped them from being proud.

Excerpt

“That sexy voice and those incredible brains are a potent combination.” There was a sigh and a muffled groan, reminding Greg why they were talking at close to three in the morning. “Lucky for you, my ego’s big enough to handle the challenge.”

“Your ego or your dick?” Just saying it made his mouth water and he’d give anything to see it, touch it, taste it…

“Damn, Sunshine, you gonna groan like that when I’m shoving my big ego down your throat?” The rough dirty talk was more like the Gene he knew and loved.

Yeah, as hopeless as it was, there was no other word for the feelings that ran deep and true inside him. And it was hopeless. While not conventionally handsome, Gene was everything he could ever want in a man—tall, strong, rugged, smart, and deadly—and damn him for being a ginger to boot. The type of man who had no trouble finding a willing body to fuck. The type of man who would never look twice at an out of shape, curly-haired, glasses-wearing geek. But that was his secret and as long as Gene didn’t know exactly what he looked like, he was able to hold on to the fantasy for a little while longer.

“You know I will.” He was groaning again just thinking about getting his lips anywhere near Gene’s body. “I can feel you fisting my hair, holding me still while you make me take every inch.”

“Fuck yeah, I’d grab two fistfuls and fuck that dirty mouth the way it deserves,” Gene promised. “You want that, don’t you, Sunshine? To be manhandled until your throat is raw and your lips are swollen.”

Greg fisted his own aching cock, dragging his palm from balls to tip. What he wouldn’t give for that just once. “More than anything.”

“My dirty little Valentine.” Gene’s voice was ragged and full of satisfaction. “Get your toy, dirty boy, I’m dying to pound that tight ass until you’re screaming my name.”

There was no embarrassment as he reached for the long, thick vibrating dildo he’d already prepared in anticipation of this phone call. He wanted Gene too much to allow embarrassment to stop him from experiencing whatever he could with the man. “Tell me…tell me how you want me. On my back? On my knees?”

“On your back so I can see your face,” Gene purred and Greg felt his heart skip another beat. His dirtiest fantasies had nothing on phone sex with Gene. The real thing would probably kill him.

About Jessie

Like many readers, the dream of being a writer has been with me a long time. After three decades of trying, I’d begun to doubt. Thanks to social media, I followed my favorite authors hoping to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity. Two repetitive themes emerged: to be a great writer you must read a lot and your butt must be in the chair every day like it’s a job. The more you write, the easier it will be to write and the better you will be at writing. I took that advice to heart and write every day. With six published books to date, three series in the works and a full schedule of releases planned for the next two years, it’s been amazing to have made this dream my reality.

I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics and happily ever after. I’m a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families, biological or chosen. All are themes you’ll find throughout my books.

Review: Have you ever felt that you have nothing to offer another person, physically? You look in the mirror and all you see are blemishes, runaway hair, too overweight, and your self-esteem plummets. That’s what Greg sees when he looks at himself.

Oh, he’s super smart, quirky, a little too nerdy, maybe a tad snarky. After all, he does work for the FBI as an Assistant Supervisor Special Agent in the Intelligence Division so of course he also has mad computer skills. Being assigned to Snake (Gene to Greg) who is undercover in the Devil’s Pride MC as his handler is something Greg takes very seriously. Gene’s life is on the line and he relies on fast and correct information being fed to him through the phone by Greg.

What starts out as simple flirting, and it is simple and fun because it’s over the phone and not face to face, turns into a five-year relationship. Snake is on one of the longest undercover assignments ever and Greg has taken on the responsibility of making sure Gene doesn’t lose himself in the process. He may be Snake to everyone in the motorcycle club and even to his other agents in the FBI, but he will always be Gene to Greg.

Over the five-year assignment, Greg and Gene have reached a very intimate comfort level with each other. During their nightly phone conversations, they share their personal lives with each other. They talk about family, goals and dreams, and they share fantasies and have even gone as far as acting them out together, over the phone.

For Greg, it’s heaven because Gene only hears his voice and he will never see what he looks like and that allows Greg to be more open and honest and try things with Gene that face to face he would never have the guts to do. However, Snake is coming out from being undercover and the first place he wants to go is to see Greg. It’s time. And, he’s more than ready to make their shared fantasies a reality.

Greg is freaking out because after five years, he will finally see the man of his dreams. He starts to doubt and question everything about himself, about their friendship/relationship, and how Gene will, no doubt, be completely turned off by the real person. His self-esteem is hanging by a thread and it would be much easier to cancel his “date” with Gene. His insecurities are winning the fight and he’s ready to bow out, quietly.

Of course, Gene knows Greg, just as intimately, so he predicts Greg will spit and sputter his way out of their date and he’s not going to let that happen. Gene has already fallen in love with the voice, the pictures, the promises they’d made, so glasses, messy hair, and a paunchy belly have no bearing on his decision to be with Greg, in every way possible.

“I like what I see. More importantly, I really like what I know.” Gene shook his head, a touch of frustration in his gaze. “With me, you never have to pretend to be something you’re not. I’m already hooked, don’t you get that?” –Snake/Gene

Being back with the Devil’s Pride MC was intense and invigorating. Snake is only away from the undercover operation for three weeks and then he has to go back. During his time away from the MC, he spends as much time with Greg as possible and even though Greg continues to be self-conscious about his appearance they spend quite a bit of time in the bed, under the sheets, putting into play their fantasies.

Gene may come across as a hardened criminal, hardcore gang member, and/or a man who would just as soon kill you as to look at you, but that is Snake, not Gene. Gene is very romantic and he works tirelessly trying to convince Greg that he means what he says. He’s attracted to Greg sexually but also mentally. He loves everything about him and over time, hopefully, Greg will learn to see himself as Gene sees him.

Throughout the story, there is a continuous vibe of danger and suspense always running in the background. Snake has a mission, and with his friends by his side, such as Ty Malone and Alaric Bennett, and of course, Greg digging constantly for vital information, they have a plan to bring down the scum of human traffickers and drug lords within the MC.

Jessie G is a master at weaving suspense and theories back and forth and as the reader you begin to question everyone’s motives. Someone is leaking information, possibly ratting our informants and operatives and until that person is caught, no one is safe. You will be on the edge of your seat as they confront danger and you find yourself in constant fear of retaliation and you’re never quite sure who to believe.

All of these elements combined, along with the sex and dirty talk, create a powerful story of romance and intrigue. Who is leaking the information and putting everyone at risk? Will Snake be able to walk away from the MC without having to watch over his shoulder 24/7? And, if he does walk away, will Greg go with him? So many twists and turns, suspicion and deception, that you will be on pins and needles.

There are several new players that are brought in and I can’t wait to see how they play out in future stories. Everyone in the MC is not bad, in fact, most of them are not, but it’s really hard to tell who to trust and who to watch out for.

I’m looking forward to figuring it out.

A recommended read that can easily be a standalone, but reading the first book, Tricking Chase, will make your journey into this world of deception so much better. So much better.
