Blurb: Rusty Peruke works as a mechanic and is close with his family. His wheelchair bound brother, Korvyn, lives with him, and he sends extra cash home to his parents on a regular basis.

When he meets Acheron while the man is at the shop buying a set of fast wheels, Rusty is both excited and concerned—and it’s not because he’s never been with a guy. Acheron is a loner scorpion shifter who hasn’t stayed in one place since he left his family home over eight decades before. Rusty has no intention of running out on his family. To him, their needs come first. Can two polar opposites find enough common ground to build a future? Or will assumptions and miscommunications create a wall between them that’s impossible to scale?

Review: Each book in A Paranormal’s Love collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This story is a branch off of Wolves of Stone Ridge, so I would start with that series first. There are several series that are connected to this series as well.

Rusty has been taking care of his family for some time now. His mother and older brother had been in an accident that left his brother in a wheelchair. He was a serval cat shifter and is cute as can be. He is also shy and well you can guess. He had not expected to meet his mate though.

Acheron is a very dominated scorpian shifter but you could not tell it if you saw him in his human form. He had been abducted and was sold off, but Kontra’s gang saved him and several others. Want to get the juicy details though, your going to have to read the book.

Danger, excitement, adventure, action and some hot sexy times are what you get with this story. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. Now I will admit that this one was not one of my favorites, came off a bit dry to me. Other than that it was pretty good.

I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
