Chapter 1

The reverberations of guitar strings echoed through Robin and Josh’s apartment. It was a usual evening. After dinner they began to work on music for Robin’s most recent lyrics. Robin Strider’s heart stretched as he drank in Josh’s concentration on the chords to get the sound perfect.

Robin was skilled at denying his need for Josh, but tonight his craving refused burial. He trembled as he held himself stiff. If he didn’t move he’d be okay.

He stared as Josh’s fingers erotically danced over the strings. Robin was reminded of how they teased, caressed and satisfied him. He pushed off the blanked he’d had on his lap. It was far too hot for the extra layer.

Review: This is the second book in the Dark Angel series and I have got to tell you that so far this story is my favorite. Each story so far talks about a new romancing couple and let’s just say it, the story was hot but not as hot as the sex between Josh and Robin. These two men will bring out the tears. There is just something so tender and loving that has you wanting to fight their battles for them. Most of the story just had me in tears, the way they had been treated by the father that raised them and their fears.

Robin had been around four when his mother married Josh’s father. It was not a happy time for them. His mother tried to protect them both, but when she passed away the problems were more intense. He was a sadistic ass that got his pleasures in hurting Robin and Josh. When he found Robin’s romance book with sexy men on the front, the boys knew they had to run. Taken in after saving a very special old man, they found the love that children should receive from a parent. Their new uncle let them know that what they felt for each other was perfectly fine. That they were love unconditionally. Which is the way a true parent should feel. However Robin had a lot of issues with the fact that even though they were not true brothers, they were still brothers. Family can’t leave but lovers can was stuck in his head. Enough to make him hide what he really feels.

Josh has loved Robin forever and he knows that he needed to give Robin time. However it was getting harder each time they had a sexual feeling Robin would get a bit edgy. Then the rumors of incest and the fact that Josh has all these females around him, makes Robin pull away. Josh knows that there is love there; all he has to do is to show it. Then he realizes just what Robin really needs, so he has to step up the game.

I love the dominating and submissive parts in this book, almost as much fun as the play they have with Angel and Darius. There is more kink to this book that made it smoking hot and I had a blast reading it. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. I mean I finished book one and just grabbed book two and started reading in one night. I could not put this book down. It gave me everything I could want in a story and I can’t wait to read book three.

If you love the dominating man winning his submissive partner, hot sex that would burn the sheets around you, tantalizing kink, temptation, excitement, happy endings, adventure and a bit of pain then I can guarantee that you need to read this book. When I started reading book one I wasn’t too sure, but shortly into the story I admitted that this series is one of the best stories I have come across in a long time. I would recommend reading this book, but trust me you need to read book one first.
