Blurb: Max is on the run, but is he running from his past, or toward his future? Only Ulf knows…

Werewolf Max knows desiring males is wrong, but he can’t help himself. When his pack nearly kills him in an attempt to cleanse him, Max runs. Jumping on his motorcycle, he heads north.

Ulf has lived on his own in the wilds of Northern Ontario for a long time. When he catches the scent of a stranger in his territory, he’s angry at first, until he realizes that Max is more than just another werewolf. They’re mates.
Ulf must make Max believe that two males can be mates, but just as he’s about to succeed, Max’s past catches up with him.

Will the home they’ve been hoping to build together be lost for good?

Review: This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

Max in on the run from his crazy radical pack in Miami who tried to cleanse him of being gay. After being on the road so long, he is tied and when he finds a trail that leads to a log cabin he decides to sleep for a little bit. However, he has stumbled onto the home of a lone alpha wolf named Ulf. Lucky for Max it turns at that Ulf is his mate. Ulf just have to convince Max that two males can mate.

This was a sexy and sweet little short. Max is so afraid that he will be hunted and what he wants is wrong. Ulf has to show Max that it is all right and what they have it meant to be. The way he does this is the sexy part. But he also teaches Max how to have fun and play again. That was the sweet.

The only thing is there is no real background on Ulf and why he is living alone in the woods. I would have liked a little more on Ulf I think. But other than that, it was an enjoyable fast read.
