He never thought that his world could be shattered with just a phone call even after being around his military friends.
Tank and Jack have been dancing around each other for months until Tank takes a chance and kisses Jack at their friends’ wedding moving their slow dance into a heated bump and grind. Can these two survive the changes coming their ways together or will all the changes break them apart?

Blurb: A complicated web of lies threatens Jace’s life and he must fight his way to happiness through a maze of romance, murder and intrigue.
Jace O’Neal is slowly rebuilding his life after a disastrous romance with an actor named Dylan Malone in NYC sends him back to Atlanta in disgrace. Living with his mother and his brother, a fourteen-year-old with Fragile X syndrome, one of the known causes of autism, Jace is pursued by Malone, who finally persuades him into another relationship. Then Dylan goes missing and the evidence left at the scene points to Jace’s involvement.
The detective on the case, Will Jordan, is drawn to Jace right away, and learns that Jace’s former lover was manipulative and cruel. Will fights his attraction to Jace as he seeks the truth of what happened to Malone. As more clues emerge and point to Jace, Jordan begins to believe Jace is in danger. A complicated web of lies threatens Jace’s life and he must fight his way to happiness through a maze of romance, murder and intrigue.
Review: Jace got out of a bad relationship with Dylan and went home to stay with his family. His mother was depressed and his little brother had some problems that had to be taken care of with special care. However Dylan follow’s him and things just take a twisted turn. When Dylan goes missing Jace is the one they suspect. That is except for one of the Detectives.
The story was fast paced but left me with more questions then answers. Will, the detective likes Jace and things heat up. Only problem the detective is kind of flaky, then at the end it just moves forward to fast. This story does have you trying to figure out the mystery of what happened to Dylan, but it wasn’t really that hard to figure out. I can tell you that this author put a lot of work in learning about domestic abuse, it showed in the story. That was a nice surprise.
I liked Jace quite a bit and the poor guy just didn’t get a good chance at all. However Will is a pompous jerk and couldn’t stand him. Although I do understand he was the detective and Jace was the suspect and what would happen if it came out, but really the guy still pushed it sometimes. I wasn’t as caught up in this story as I should have been and that was disappointing.
It is a very good story but for me it felt like the author rushed the last part of the story. It was a nice surprise from some of her other stories, but I am afraid that I just didn’t much care for parts of it.

The Signal Box
by
Lazlo Thorn
Autumn, 1913. Wiltshire, England. Davy Buckland, a boiler cleaner in the engine shed at the local railway station, was nineteen when he took a shine to the signalman at nearby Oakwood Junction. He didn’t know much about Nathaniel, but he recognised a man who could show him the ropes and how the isolated signal box in the Edwardian countryside where he worked, could provide the perfect hideaway for their clandestine games. By the time the Great War had started and these two ordinary men had become lovers, it wasn’t only the trains that were greased up and running on a good head of steam. But just how long could they keep this affair a secret? And what would the consequences be, if their unusual sexual liaison was ever discovered?
Blurb: Peter’s been half in love with Luke Holland for as long as he can remember, but his best friend’s very human brother has always been off limits…but when werewolves come to town this bunny shifter is going to have to decide whether he’s ready to fight for what he’s always wanted.
Luke Holland is tall, dark, and human. He’s also off limits for daisy obsessed bunny shifter, Peter. But when werewolves start hunting Peter in the woods around New Hope he’s going to need Luke’s help to fight the intruders. Of course, when Luke discovers the truth about Peter he’s never going to stop chasing his cottontail.
Review: When I saw the title of this story, I knew that I had to read it. Anything with bunnies will usually give you a laugh. Then I found out that it was a m/m pregnancy type story and it was a definite got to buy. This is the first book by this author that I have read and I will say that I am impressed. I usually don’t read books by authors that I have not heard of or have not read yet. I am a bit picky about my stories.
Although the fact that a rabbit shifter is called Peter is a bit overdone to me. He is a funny little character who is definitely quirky as hell, he has had the hots for his best friend’s brother for quite some time, but he was also as shy as one can be. To top it off rabbit shifters were just like rabbits in the wild, they mate and have many babies even if they are males. But when werewolves show up, he knows Luke will protect him. Things are about to get real interesting.
Now it is a funny story but a bit disappointing as well. It mentions how male rabbits can get pregnant and mate for life, however there is no male rabbit getting pregnant in this book. So I have to say I was not as pleased as I thought I would have. Other than that it is a little bit dry and didn’t give me all that I wanted in a story. However those are my issues with the book, other than that it was a real blast to read.
I do hope that in the next book there are some baby rabbits floating around for Peter and Luke. I did feel bad for Luke’s brother Benji and I want to know what the alpha of the Chicago werewolves is about but will gladly wait to see what happens in the next book.
Blurb: Julio Reyes has had a hard life. Orphaned at fourteen, he ran away from a group home to avoid rape but wound up being an independent prostitute in NYC. He has a life plan—go to school, become a stylist and open his own salon.
Etienne Daurensbourg is one-hundred and thirty-nine years old and fears he’ll never find his Mate until his friend Alexei introduces him to Julio. Julio is Etienne’s Mate but before he has a chance to court Julio, who is a human high beta and therefore stubborn and independent, Julio gets knifed and is forced to let Etienne provide him with a home and help to recover.
Pack problems arise that may force Etienne into the pit. Will Julio be able to love Etienne despite the fact he is a loup garou?
Review: Each book in the Werewolves of Manhattan collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
I started reading romance stories at the age of twelve and was always intrigued by the worlds that authors can come up with. Then a few years ago I read my first gay romance and I decided that there was just something about them that I liked more. For me a good paranormal love story with passion, fire, danger and trouble are a good hit. A.C. Katt gives me that type of story. They are fresh and very unique. The plots and story line are top rate and always keeps my attention from start to finish.
There is just something about the worlds that she creates that keeps me captivated throughout the whole entire book. So much so that when a new book comes out, I must always start reading the very first book that leads up to this one. I love how there is a serious tone to it, but that it is equally matched with humor. I can’t stand a book that has no humor in it; I would rather be laughing then just sitting there. I also love how the mates are well loved and protected by their stronger mates.
Julio was just fourteen when his life changed. His parents were killed and he was sent off to a group home for boys. The home was filled with angry teens who just loved to mess with the ones that came in. Julio was a prime target because not only was he gay but he was very fem. He took off to avoid being raped, only to end up with a man that was sadistic and cruel. Once he managed to escape, he had figured the only way he would survive was to be his own independent prostitute. Saving another led him to friends who got him out and led him onto the path that would give him the greatest rewards.
Etienne is an alpha who has found his mate. However someone from Julio’s past arises and almost cost him his life. Etienne needs to protect his mate, but it might also cause a war that could cost them everything.
To me there is nothing better than a good romance, but when it is a paranormal then it hits higher marks to me. I love them especially when there are some gorgeous men in some kinky situations. I can honestly tell you that this is going to be one of those types of series that you can’t put down and have to read more than once. It is the perfect story for me and gave me all that I needed. I love the way all the feelings they felt was involved in this story.
I had a blast reading it and I can’t wait to read the next story.
Blurb: Frankie Ferone moves from the mob to an even more secretive group, the loup garou.
When attending a wedding, Frank Ferone is introduced to Rene DuBois, a violet eyed stranger. Rene has a secret to hide but can’t overlook that he’s met his mate. Rene starts to romance Frankie and soon Frankie falls in love. But how is he going to react when Rene tells Frankie he is loup garou. Werewolves? Really?
Review: Each book in the Werewolves of Manhattan collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
This story was meant to be a branch off from the Werewolves of Manhattan, but it is not to be. Our very lovely Ms. Katt passed away after writing it, so it is to be the end of this amazing series.
Frank’s stepfather is what one call’s a mob boss, and Frank didn’t want anything to do with him. However he had to serve ten years for the man after college, but that time was almost up. The problem was he couldn’t get a job with his last name. That is until Rene’s alpha offered him a position with them. Too bad he hadn’t know that werewolves had existed till now, think of the shock on his face.
Rene is a strong beta for the alpha’s and would be the second to find his mate. He just hadn’t known what to expect from Frank’s stepfather. Things are about to get interesting for these two. I would give you a bit more, but you really should read this book.
As I said before this was meant to be a new start, but is a bittersweet ending to an amazing series. It is entertaining and just about hot as can be. Frank was a big surprise for me. I expected tough, macho and rough around the edges. However he is one of the sweetest guys I have seen. He was a big hit with me and I would have loved to hear more.
I loved reading it and can guarantee that it will be read more than once. It is just one of those stories that will keep you entertained and falling in love. I would definitely recommend it and the previous books.
Blurb:Alpha Henri Giraud has finally found his Mate; but Vitas Kosloff comes with a host of problems not the least of which he carries a great gift and the Russian First, Fydor Chernof, claims Vitas is his.
After much hardship, Vitas Kosloff finds his Mate, Henri Giraud, Director of Security for the North American Council and Garou Industries. Vitas, held captive by Fydor Chernof, the Russian First, who claims Vitas belongs to him He escapes Chernof’s torture with the aid of Chernof’s two Betas, Anatoly and Maxim.
Vitas is a full loup garou who carries a huge mating gift, he can tell the truth from lies and dream the future. Because of this Chernof will stop at nothing to re-capture him, even after Henri mates and marries Vitas. With the aid of the other Mates, the North American Council and Frank Ferone, Vitas and Henri attempt to outwit Chernof and take care of the Russian problem for good.
Review:Each book in the Werewolves of Manhattan collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
I have come across a few stories in which it is imperative that one reads the previous stories in a series, otherwise it can be a bit confusing. It has been some time since I have read a book in this series, so I had to do a little catching up. It is a very entertaining story, but the omegas are the true characters in this story.
Henri is the last of the alphas in their group to find his mate; he just had not expected him to show up at one of the other’s weddings. Vitas is in need of care, and Henri will do everything to keep him safe.
Vitas had been held hostage by the alpha in Russia, along with his parents. They had tried to protect him and get him to America, but it was all in vain. Now they had been killed in front of him, and he was tortured every day. He was an omega wolf, but his body thought he was now human. Chernof’s own people decided to help him get out, but he had not expected to find his mate. He wished for it and even dreamed about it, but never expected it. His gift is a very strong one that anyone would want to use. His mate must protect him at all cost.
This is a very entertaining story that will keep your attention from the moment you start reading. There are a few little errors that I found but that is about all. It just needed a better proof reader to find it. I got a kick out of it, and will say that the alpha’s mates are a kicker. I think they make the story just a bit more fun. It has a serious tone to it, but there is quite a bit of humor that mixes just perfect for the story to rock.
I can’t wait to start reading the next story. This is one series that I would definitely recommend.
Blurb: As Corey and Flip just find their way back together a grave danger threatens to tear them apart.
Nearly a year ago, Flip and Corey shared a passionate encounter. Or at least, Corey thought it was passionate. Since, Flip walked away, without even so much a glance back, he never could be for sure. All Corey did know for certain was he has a strong attachment to the Beta which can’t be denied.
Flip yearned for Corey ever since they’d been together. But, Flip dare not act on his feelings. Flip has a secret. One so, dark, explosive and terrifying it threatens not only Flip but every Dire Wolf in the world.
Review: Each book in the Dire Pack Reborn collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Flip’s past is coming to get him. He found something to show his uncle, only for his uncle to betray him. Should have known the man was no good, but he trusted his uncle not to do what he was going to do. He took the item and ran, hoping for some kind of luck to find him. What he found was a Dire Pack that took him in. To bad his lies were about to come back to bite him in the ass.
Corey was a beta wolf for his pack and one night of passion with Flip made him want for more. Then things heat up between them, the truth comes out. He doesn’t know which way to turn and his relationship with Flip might just not survive.
I came across Stephani Hecht when she wrote her first book in the series Lost Shifters. From that point on I knew that she would become a favorite of mine, and I was right. The worlds she created for the Dire wolves is amazing, terrifying, dangerous and exciting. The characters are fully developed and damn they are hot. With Flip I could see why he did what he did both times and why he didn’t want anyone to know. His heart is big and you can see his fear.
I enjoyed reading the story and cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. It is a fascinating series that will catch your attention and keep it there till the end. I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this book.
Blurb: Eldridge Cristoff worked hard and rarely played, always leery of letting himself go after the humiliation he suffered at the hands of his college boyfriend. Best friend Isabella Catana, submissive and lover of Johnson Petri, invited him to a night at an upscale BDSM club, Club Rebellion-owned and operated by Johnson and his trio of friends. All dominants.
Dalton Peters has never collared his own sub nor had the desire until he met Eldridge. Dalton was immediately taken with the skittish man, deciding to make it his mission to release Eldridge from his sexual prison.
Slowly Eldridge realized the world he was meant to be in. A loving man and master at his side; he discovered submission was not a weakness but a true testament of his strong inner spirit.
With Dalton’s careful guidance, Eldridge had no choice but to give into his desires and heart, allowing Dalton to dominate his body and soul.
Review: Eldridge is a sub who has been hurt in the past and with Dom Dalton’s gentle and loving help learns to trust again in someone who won’t hurt him.
I loved Dalton’s manner in which he guided Eldridge into BDSM. It was sweet the way these two came together and started a meaningful relationship.
Eldridge slowly came into his own as the story progressed.

Blurb: Betrayal, passion, adventure, primal sex, and a fight to the death. Mating a 26th century Oracan Bounty Hunter with a 18th century Earth pirate has its little glitches.
Bounty hunter Talos bows to pressure to bring his lifemate home for the completion of his strict warrior culture’s bonding ritual. Aidan, displaced 18th century Earth pirate — light- fingered, sly, charming, and understandably naive about the new world he’s been thrust into — can’t wait. Even if it turns out someone wants him dead. The 26th century looks different, but it turns out to be a lot like his old life!
Shorty’s Review ♥♥♥♥ 4 Hearts: Travelling to Talos’ home was a trial. Not because of the journey but the completion of the bonding ritual. I found that the tests seemed designed with the Oracans in mind but was pleased that Aidan took it all in stride and did what he needed to do.
This adventure was not without it’s dangers. So many hidden dangers were throughout this story but one was left unexplained. I assume it will be explored in another story. The trials along with the people intent on harm for their own gain made for an intense and interesting read.
Great read and addition to the story.
Pixie’s Review ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 Hearts:Oh I have waited many many years for this beauty and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed in the least.
Talos and Aidan have to travel to Talos’ homeworld Oracan so they can finish the bonding ritual, but before they even set off trouble heads their way. Aidan has to prove himself worthy of Talos and it’s a difficult journey especially as someone is gunning for Aidan.
This is a brilliant addition to the Details series, Aidan and Talos are both as lovable as before and their relationship has grown in leaps and bounds. Aidan is really put through the wringer as he takes part in the Oracan ritual that would approve him of becoming Talos’ mate, it’s a real challenge for a human taking part in an event that has only been designed for Oracan’s but the sly pirate has a couple of tricks up his sleeve.
This is a great story that has yet again brought to life a cheeky character that you can’t help but love, Aidan is such a fantastic character that you would believe it would be hard to find a match for him but Talos with his no nonsense attitude is the perfect foil. There is plenty of action and a dash of danger, a brilliant storyline and a love that knows no bounds *sigh* I loved this story!
I’d recommend this to those who love great science fiction, a relationship pushing the boundaries, a dash of danger, action galore and a wonderful ending.
Blurb: A 26th century, time-traveling, bounty hunter snatchs a 18th century Earth pirate in a deal to enrich the archeoalogical knowledge of mankind, but as he develops an attraction for the likable, free-spirited prey, he attempts to alter the deal, threatening both his own personal code of honor and the strict rules of conduct of his race. Will the love of a wily, cock-sure, young pirate be enough for the stoic hunter to risk exile from his own people?
Shorty’s Review ♥♥♥♥ 4 Hearts: I was blown away by this story. I can not imagine living in the seventeen hundreds only to be transported seven hundred years in the future to find all is changed. I don’t know how Aidan never aged once he was transported.
Talos takes a hunt to acquire and transport pirate Aidan Maymon. The buyer was a oily little creep named Barlow whose intentions were not on the up and up. Along the way Talos’ mating instincts take him for a drive. One he fights.
Aidan for his part is not happy and tries to escape every chance he gets but ultimately has to rely on Talos in this strange new world he finds himself in.
Great read.
Pixie’s Review ♥♥♥♥♥ 5 Hearts: Details of the Hunt was one of the first stories that I ever read in the MM genre and it blew me away with it’s fun light hearted tone while keeping a slightly serious aspect on the morality of the Hunts. I’ve read it many times over the years and it’s always fresh and always kept me entertained.
Talos is just doing his duty when he goes to pick up a blackhearted pirate from Earth 1769. He doesn’t expect the pirate to be completely different than what he expects and he certainly didn’t expect to be drawn to the man. The Hunt details must be fulfilled though and Talos must weigh his duty against the life of his mate.
Aidan is on the verge of death when he is snatched from the jaws of a shark by his very own Ceme sea god, but discovering everything that he’d ever known is long gone and he’s expected to just accept that he’s been brought from the past to be handed over to a sleazy git as punishment for his crimes several centuries before… Ha he wasn’t a pirate for nothing.
This is an amazing story that drags you into the future with fascinating aliens and a wonderful Johnny Depp type pirate. The story has you laughing and it also has you contemplating the morality of Aidan’s situation. There’s action and danger, love and loss, cheekiness and seriousness, and some amazing sex between two males who discover love when neither of them expected it.
I’d recommend this to those who adore science fiction, pirates and exotic aliens, to those who love a bit of action and danger, to those who adore fantastic characters and a storyline that has many twists and turns.

But there’s this guy.
Ty Green can make friends with a tree and Elias can’t help falling for his easy-going vibe and his perfect smile. He’s a fellow Capricorn, like Elias, but that’s as far as their similarities go. Ty works to live—he doesn’t live to work. When Elias takes his horoscope’s advice and asks Ty out, both men are in for a shock. But as Elias’s walls start to come down, they might just realize that they have more in common than they think. In fact, they might even want the exact same thing.
Who knows? Maybe horoscopes aren’t just trash after all.
