The lost, almost broken young man in front of him tore his heart in two. How much had his mate suffered all these years alone?

“I wish I could take back the years you lost with your family, the pain you’ve felt…but I can’t.” Liam stood, walking over and reaching out to Zanth. He slid his hand around the back of Zanth’s neck, tugging the younger man forward. Zanth came without struggle, his eyes dim with grief. Bringing their lips until they were just a hair’s breath away, he whispered, “You are so very important to me, Zanth. Not because of your position in our Tribe, not because I have been ordered here. I will keep you safe, give you the family you were supposed to have…and I make this promise, not as the Guardian assigned to bring you home, but as someone who cares very deeply for you.”

Review: This is part two in this series and I have to tell you that it was a pretty awesome story. To short for my true likings though. I want to hear more about Zanth and Liam. It is just like the old fairy tale. Cursed at birth by evil to fall a sleep so deep like death on his twenty fifth birtday. It was a really cute story even with all the evil coming for them and the betrayels of their people.

Zanth’s parents were long dead and had been raised by aunts, or so he thought. It turned out that it was all a lie. Walking into his bed room after a long walk home, he comes in to find a man hidden in the shadows. A man that clames to be his mate and to tell him about his true life. Liam wondered if those who assigned him to protect Zanth actually knew that they were mates. Now all he had to do is to get his mate to accept them, accept his life and lead his people.

I was quite surprised by this story. At first I thought it was a different type of love story but then I realized that it was paranormal. It fascinated me and I can’t wait to read more about it. Well as long as ther are no girly parts in them. I would recommend reading this especially if you love the paranormal, two very sexy men, passionate glances, hot sex, excitement, adventure and danger coming for them from all over. It was a great story just to bad it was to short because I can’t wait to hear more about these two very sexy men.
