Blurb: A little sass and a perfect ass can land a vamp in a sticky situation…

Paolo has watched his friends and coven leader find mates, their other halves. He’s ready to find someone just for him, though that means getting out and actually going somewhere.

When his coven leader, Claude, asks him to help out with a bit of a spy mission, Paolo agrees. He puts on his sexiest—and skimpiest—club outfit and dives right in.

But the mission brings him head to head with his coven’s worst enemies, the Dark Slayers. And when he finds himself attracted to one who’s about to be initiated against his will, Paolo can’t resist helping the man out…and having some really hot sex while he’s at it.

Then the Dark Slayers find them…

Review: Paolo a vamp is tasked with finding out more information about the slayers. He meets Dakota and learns that he is soon to join the slayers but not by choice. I found the story interesting as we have a cute vamp bent on stopping the slayers from harming members of the coven he is in and a human who is being pressured by his brother to join a group he wants nothing to do with.

Paolo and Dakota grow closer as the danger grows closer so Paolo decides to protect Dakota from the group. This book has drama, action and some hot scenes to keep a reader interested.

I really enjoyed the book immensely. But then again I love Bailey’s books.

Blurb: Death, taxes and vampires—the three certainties in Erin’s life.

Erin Meyers knows all about the existence of vampires. He’s the guy who helped his twin brother Andrew find true love with the kilt-wearing Radney.

Erin’s used sex as a way to run from his emotions for a long time. It’s become a habit that he’s finally caught on to, and he’s growing tired of it. In fact, he’s growing tired too easily in general.

A doctor’s visit leaves him fearing for his life. When he encounters a friendly vamp he knows out at the club, Erin breaks his no-vamps rule and takes Jude home with him. Together, they burn up the sheets, and Erin finds himself willing to spend more than one night with Jude. Soon, a relationship blooms, but the bad news Erin gets might put an end to any dreams he had for the future.

Review: Erin is now facing the age gap between him and his twin. He reconsiders everything he turned down. To stay young he still goes to clubs dancing and having a good time.

Jude, the vampire that makes Erin’s heart beat faster, has been waiting patiently for Erin to live out his life a little before claiming him as his own. Just when things began to heat between the two Erin gets devastating news that alters his life.

I truly loved this book. It had everything you could want in a book. There’s a slow romance, life altering decisions that have to be made, with added humour and drama. This book is one of the best in the series to date.

I loved how well the story read from serious to humor and back again.

Highly recommended.

Blurb: Life with vamps is never easy.

Abernathy Meyers is already mated to a vamp, Zebulon. It’s just too bad that Zebulon doesn’t give a darn about him. Abbie’s stuck with the man for eternity—or until they die. Some days, Abbie thinks that can’t happen soon enough. He’s tired of being treated badly, yet he doesn’t really want to make his earthly exit yet.

Because he’s longed for another man—another vampire—for years. Forbidden love—is anything more compelling, or more heart-breaking?

There’s a twisted past, a hidden story linking Abbie, Zebulon and the coven leader, Claude.

Claude lives with a fear of turning to dust at any moment. It isn’t reasonable, but he can’t shake it. He’s let his own fears impede his potential happiness, and instead he puts the needs of his coven first, ignoring his own. But if he’s deliberately blind to one particular human’s needs because that human is a mate to another vampire, then is Claude truly leading to the best of his ability?

It’s a tough question for him to answer and soon, he’ll have to make a choice that will affect him and Abbie, forever.

Review: This was a great addition to the series. Finally Claude, the leader of the coven, gets a mate. And it turns about to be Abernathy. Their history together was very interesting to read about. Because of certain perceived notions Claude lost his chance with Abernathy years ago. This lead to both Claude and Abernathy to suffer for decades.

Lucky for both Claude and Abernathy, Zebulon finally does something that allows them to be together how they were meant to be. It was so sweet and pretty damn hot when they were finally able to claim one another.

This book was a fast read and very enjoyable. I spent as much time laughing at the antics of the coven members as I did cheering on Claude and Abernathy. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I love the characters Bailey Bradford has created.
