It’s been six months since Tim and Jae got together, and they’re giving Domestic Discipline an honest try. But when conflicting events conspire to interrupt their life, Tim starts to fray at the edges. He’s doing his best to handle everything, but he still struggles with unaddressed issues, both past and present. And seeing Tim trying to hold it together is breaking Jae’s heart.
There has to be a breaking point, and when it arrives, it’s Jae’s turn to take the reins, to provide them both with what they truly need.

I love the process of putting a cover together. You talk to someone who may or may not have even read your work, answer some questions about characters and tone and such, and in some weeks, you get an email that takes your breath away.
Or at least that was my experience when I saw the cover for the first book in the Little Earthquakes series, Shaken Up. It was beautiful. I did a lot of squeaking and showing it off to friends. I lavished the artist, Angsty G, with praise, and I hoped I would be able to get the same artist again for the sequel.
Lucky me, I did! It made life So. Much. Easier, because now we have a theme going, and the Settling Down cover looks amazing and goes with Shaken Up, taking Tim and Jae to the next step of their relationship.
I can’t wait to see what AngstyG can come up with the third in this mad series of mine!

Nicole Forcine was born a strange child and former Georgia peach. When she was younger, she was never far from a composition book, a pen in hand, and way too many people in her head (she’s even been known to talk back to them). When two or more of them talk loud enough to overshadow the rest, a story is born. After years of writing and storing her tales in those books, she had a revelation: man, there are a lot of dudes kissing in these stories. Her stories include themes of creating families of choice, how love can come in all forms and supersede all boundaries, and the joys and sorrows of earning a happily-ever-after. I remember the cover of Shaken Up being the first thing that drew me in. I’m not one for being particular drawn in by covers. Turned off, yes, but most of the time, a cover is not what does it for me. But Shaken Up, oh yes, I needed to know more. I’m so happy to see another wonderful one (with the same theme) for Settling Down and to finally see what it’s about. I want the next month to fly by so I can have it already!
