Blurb: Siberian Tiger shifter, Aleksi Rykov, is amused to watch the enemy chasing one of their own, Psy Seth Tilton, until he realizes it’s his mate. Rescuing his mate isn’t difficult for the powerful Alpha but keeping his mate safe from the war raging between their races may be more difficult.
Seth is taking a chance running to the one man he knows can keep him safe, Aleksi. Seth knows the Psy’s secrets and the Psy will do anything to get him back but with Aleksi’s help, Seth can help turn the tide of the war and uncover the horrible truth. The question is, will Aleksi be willing to help the enemy?
Both sides are against their mating and doing their best to tear the two apart but Aleksi and Seth are determined to stay together against all odds. Can Aleksi and Seth manage to find happiness by Mating the Enemy?
PLEASE NOTE: This is a revised and re-edited version of the original publication. The main storyline has not changed and there are no significant rewrites.
Review: I freaking loved this story so much. Paranormals at war. Humans being experimented on and two men from opposite sides on a collision course to stop the wars from continuing.
Aleksi is the alpha tiger that most paranormals and humans will not mess with he has earned a reputation of being brutal and intense.
Seth is a Psy on the run from people who want to make an example of him in the most brutal way. When he runs onto Aleksi’ territory the two come together to stop the new army from invading. A lot happens in this story. We are introduced to many wonderful characters that bring the story to life in a stunning way.
I am so looking forward to reading more in this series and seeing where the path leads. Will they succeed or fail? Awesome battle scenes and the chemistry between Seth and Aleksi is hot.

Blurb: No matter how much Victor tries to stay out of trouble, he always finds himself right in the middle of it. His ranking in the coven is at the bottom of the barrel, and Riley always reminds him of that. One night, running from his bully, Victor is hit by a car a block from Black Dragon. And the driver happens to be his mate. When a capture warrant is issued for Victor, it’s up to Pierce to keep him out of prison and away from the one man who wants Victor dead.
Pierce is hesitant to take Victor with him to execute a warrant, but is surprised they make a great team. Even so, he finds out quickly that his little vampire is out to prove his worth, and that lands Victor in a heap of trouble. When Victor is kidnapped, Pierce runs to his rescue, and a battle the likes of which Mercury has never seen arises.
Review: Victor was targeted and turned into a vamp when he was just eighteen. He was saved by another who had taken him into their coven. However life was still not as good as one would expect. He was on the bottom of the ladder and picked on by many of the other vampires. Then he ran and ran right into a car. The driver was a shifter who was his mate.
Pierce saved the little vamp on his way to serve a warrant. However his kind did not know their mate by sense but by sex, so he was just a bit jumbled. He did however let him come with him to serve warrants and found out that he was his lucky charm. But the one targeting Victor was just the smaller part of the picture.
I am used to characters such as shifters who know their mate by smell, which for a many good number from this authors work is the way it happens. However this author switched it up which is not a good sign. However it was the exact opposite of the vampires. It made the book off to me. Other than that it was full of action, adventure, danger and fun times. I loved the characters especially Victor. He was a bouncy ball of energy and fun. I had a blast of a time reading it and it was the perfect length. Although I do wish to hear more about my characters I love.

Blurb: Jayden McLeod is used to betrayal. After years spent at the hands of an enemy and unable to speak after his own brother was forced to suppress his voice, he struggles to connect with the people around him. Particularly his mate.
As a Wolf-Shifter/Spirit Mage hybrid, Rhys Scott is used to hiding who he really is. When Rhys learns what the Spirit element has done to his mate, he is hesitant to reveal his true self to Jayden. Like all secrets though, the truth is revealed and Rhy must prove to his mate that he is worth a second chance.
Things become more dangerous when the Clan discovers Potestas is closer than they thought, and are no longer playing by the rules. With new allies and unknown enemies, the pair must learn to trust one another and accept themselves if they stand a chance of surviving.
Review: Jayden and his little sister had managed to escape the evil they had lived in. Thanks to another brother who they were forced to leave behind. He was lost in so many ways and thinks that he is to broken to be of any use. Then he meets his mate.
Rhy had many secrets and one of them most people hated. He was a hybrid and one part of him was the part that scared the crap out of others. When he meets his mate, he tries to hide it. By hiding it might just get his ass kicked.
It gets to be confusing trying to figure out who everyone is. I know that Jayden’s brother was the reason he couldn’t speak, but it came off that it was not his brothers fault. However you find out that it is not what you think. I just couldn’t figure out who was who in most of the story.
However this story was different in the way that they are elements. However you have an alpha who is tough and an omega who is what an omega is suppose to be, sexual wise. But it is not true in some parts of the story. Jayden was a feisty one and I truly like him. I did like his mate, but there were some parts of him that drove me nuts. I must admit that one has to read the previous books to figure parts of the story. However it was not as remarkable as they should be. I didn’t remember any of the previous stories which is not a good sign for me.
Over all I did like the story but not as much as I should. What I want to know was what happened to the one brother they needed to save. It left me questions without answers, which was another bad sign.

Blurb: Johnny Stone is the new art teacher at the local rec center. He might not know a dang thing about art, but he loves hanging out with the little kiddos. One particular child has stolen Johnny’s heart, and he’s determined to break through her little shell and become friends. When a snowstorm threatens Brac Village and he can’t get ahold of North’s parents, Johnny decides to give her a ride home. What he doesn’t know is that Santa has other plans, and once again the mates are in trouble.
Meanwhile, Brady Tryniski has returned home for the holidays. He’s also there to find a job. He doesn’t want to tell his parents that he was a failure in Tampa because they’re so proud of him following his dreams. To make matters worse, Brady is attracted to his dad’s new friend. When his dad blows a gasket and demands Brady stop seeing Harmon, the holidays turn sticky. But Brady refuses to give up his mate, even if that means his parents turning their backs on him.
Review: Each book in the Brac Pack collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is connected to Brac Village, Brac Pack Next Gen, Zeus’s Pack, Christian’s coven, Demon Warriors and many more.
Johnny and Hawk have been mates for a very long time and they were truly happy. However there was one thing Johnny wanted most of all, a child. Santa is on his way, lets see what happens. And at the same time Brady is falling for his fathers friend. However it turns out that Harmon is more than what he thinks. Brady is Harmon’s mate. Now if only his father would except it.
Santa has an evil brother, who knew. First off I was glad to read about Johnny once more, he is always a gift to read about. Now I liked hearing about these guys, but the way it was written made it come off jumbled. You hear about Johnny, Hawk and North, then switch to Brady and Hamon. This went back and forth till the end. I didn’t care for it and it made the story go down in regards to it. Had it been one story and then an extra story at the end it would have been better off. I also think that Brady and Hamon should have just gotten their own full story instead of a hit and run.
Over all it was adorable but it didn’t do much for making me love it. I guess no one can be a complete hit with all their stories but this one just made a big flop for me.
Blurb: As the only heir to the Harrington legacy, Tom Harrington always knew he’d have to step one day and become the man his grandmother trained him to be. He just had no idea that there was a part of his family’s legacy that he knew nothing about, nor had he been trained for. When he learns he’s the next time keeper, he accepts it as part of being a Harrington. He just wished he knew what a time keeper was.
Lord Rogan Behr had served on the shifter council for ten years, far less than the other council members. When the new time keeper arrives, he quickly realizes that the sexy man is his mate. Unfortunately, he realized it too late to stop his bear from claiming the man. Now, he has a pissed off mate with more questions than he has answers.
When threats are made, Rogan does everything he can to protect his mate, but it’s not enough. Tom and his friends are still attacked and Rogan is kidnapped. He can only hope that being a time keeper will keep his mate alive because living without Tom isn’t something he plans to do. It would help if they could figure out who is after them.
Review: Tom’s grandfather and mother had passed on leaving him with his grandmother. She was the true constant in his life. A life that had a few secrets he is soon to learn about. When she passes on, Tom is left being the Lord Harrington. A position he didn’t want but was soon to find that he couldn’t pass it on.
Rogan is a bear shifter and part of the council. Shifters were never truly meant to live in the world that Tom lives in. However when Tom’s grandfather passed on the gateway home closed. Only when Tom turned twenty-five could it be opened once more. However danger comes at them from all over.
It is quite different then any other story I have ever read before. It is quite unique but then again it is written by an amazing author. An amazing author who has managed to give her readers a world that any one would love to be in. The characters were well rounded but a bit nutty. I wished that we would have seen what happened to the evil in this story, but my imagination took over. It is a well told story that was captivating and fun. It gives you action, danger, pissed off alpha shifters, a bit of drama and some hot sexy times.
I enjoyed reading this and can’t wait to see what the next book has going on. I would definitely recommend this story. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.
Blurb: Kobi, a black python serpent shifter, has lived a life wielding death and misery, forced into a life he didn’t want by an evil rare shifter collector, Mr. Osaki.
Now the leash has snapped, and Kobi is determined to finish Mr.Osaki, after Osaki murdered Kobi’s sister.
Kobi rescues five young shifters and delivers them to Sage II, home to his mate, Morgan, a sexy lion shifter who’s reeling Kobi in slowly, showing Kobi what a life of love and laughter could be like.
Kobi hooks up with an old friend and serpent’s creed brother, Xian Lu, who’s found his happy ever after…and the pair, with Morgan and their friends in Sage, plan a deadly attack on Osaki’s precious island in a bid to free Osaki’s “zoo”.
Kobi wants to renew the honor to his creed of serpents, brothers in arms who were borne to an honorable band of warriors and atone for his sins. With Morgan at his side, Kobi has hope they might just succeed.
Review: In this exciting addition to the Spirit of Sage series Kobi is on a mission after Mr. Osaki has his sister killed. Revenge is high on the list as is stopping Mr. Osaki from reigning anymore terror. First plan is to save the new children brought in, next enlist aid and take down Mr. Osaki once and for all.
Together with the Serpent’s Creed and Two Spirit Crew along with others they might just stand at chance. I absolutely this story. Kobi was fierce. I adored how he and Morgan talked to each other. It was sweet when he became tongue tied at times.
The Creed and Two Spirit definitely knew what they were doing during the fight scenes. I enjoyed reading about all the characters I have come to love and admire for their determination not be in the shadows any longer and to protect themselves from those that would do them harm.
I can not wait for the next book to see what happens next.

Blurb: Blast, a wolverine shifter, finds himself in a mating nightmare. His first mate is a deadly serpent shifter assassin, Xian Lu, who has been tasked with taking Blast’s second mate, Surano, back to an evil rare shifter collector, Mr. Osaki.
Blast has his work cut out preventing Xian Lu from completing his mission, discovering the assassin is sweet, frightened to be touched, and terrified of loving anyone. Surano is an innocent, sassy red panda shifter who’s been imprisoned for half his life, escaping his stepfather, Peppy Picariello, who sold him years ago. Mr. Osaki wants his prize back. Blast and his friends in Sage have a tough time fending off Osaki’s hunters, since the collector is distrustful that his former pet, Xian Lu, is up to the mission. Xian Lu has protected Surano for years, a promise made to Surano’s mother, and is conflicted. Can he defy Mr. Osaki? He’s terrified of the repercussions if he fails his mission…but equally scared that his fears may prevent him living the life he yearns for with his mates.
Review: This was an intense story of those tasked with a mission they do not want to do but are terrified of the consequences if they fail. Xian Lu has been sent to take Surano, his mate, back to Mr. Osaki. He does not want to but he feels he has no choice in the matter. Blast, Surano and Xian Lu’s other mate prevents Xian from completing his mission an implores him to help them take down Mr. Osaki’s reign of terror for good.
With the help of Xian’s snake clan a plan is set in motion as Kobi heads back to Mr. Osaki with another gift. This was an amazing and terrifying story. I loved everything about the complex story. The characters, the plot and everything in between were riveting.
Blurb:Boomer is ecstatic to find his mate, Goran, a former circus tiger shifter. Opening a new bistro with his brother, Brodie, Boomer is determined to stop anyone ruining his happiness.
An old feud brings an old enemy to their door, and a new battle commences. Ge finds himself in the middle of a deadly battle to protect the life he’s found in Sage, and end the feud once and for all. Easier said than done with the aggressive propaganda campaign initiated by Flashpoint. Now it’s Sage’s turn to fight back by showing people they’re not just savage beasts, but are loving, caring shifters who just want to live in peace. Flashpoint up the stakes and target a nearby town, Forest Glade, sending a mob to frighten the residents, unknowingly strengthening support for the shifters of Sage.
Boomer’s hopes and dreams of happiness with his mate are in the balance…they have to succeed and reverse the tide of hatred. Failure is not an option.
Review: Boomer meets Goran and the sparks fly. But there is trouble ahead as Flashpoint try to sway public opinion to their side by attacking the town next to sage. Mean while a hitman is after Dino and Brodie. So much happens with a support group, plans are made to help those in need and a spy of sorts is caught.
Secrets are revealed and Brodie meets his mate but pushes him away due to his past. I loved the installment. Just the right amount of action, drama, romance and mystery. This series gets better and better with each book. This series must be read in order with other series connected to it to enjoy the full story line.
I was the head of the Irish mob in Chicago. That got me very few friends and even more enemies. With the DEA breathing down my neck, figuring out who’s hijacking my shipments of merchandise is made all that much harder. It’s not until Danny was kidnapped that I learned I had more friends than I thought I did. I just didn’t know if we could rescue Danny before he became a victim to someone’s plot to get to me.
Patty Flannigan has been my hero since he rescued me from the streets when I was a teenager. Over the years, that hero worship turned into something stronger. I’ve watched a string of boy toys move through Patty’s life at an alarming rate and I didn’t want to become just another notch on his bedpost. I wanted something more meaningful but proving to Patty I could be an asset to him became harder than I was prepared for when I was kidnapped in a plot to get to Patty.
Review:Each book in the Hot Mess: Friends & Family collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc I would suggest reading them in sequential order. I would suggest you start with the Hot Mess collection as it will give you a idea on some of the characters you will meet in this series.
The fourth horseman of the apocalypse has finally appeared. Danny’s father passed away, his mother was a hard core drug addict and his foster family were evil. He ran away and was living on the streets at the age of fifteen. He had been rescued and brought in by a man he adored. The man was also the head of the Irish Mob.
Patty has seen some crazy things in his life although I would say Lany was the craziest. He was the head of the Irish Mob and had many rules to follow. He never dealt in drugs or girls. He wasn’t clean cut but it would be hard to prove anything. He rescued a young boy from the streets and pretty much protected him. Now here he was trying to keep him safe and falling in love.
I will admit that out of all the contemporary romance stories I have read, this series and the one it is connect to are probably my favorites. There is a serious tone to them but they have so much humor in them that parts of the story will have you laughing your ass off. They are told with such a flare that you are not wanting to put the story down. I loved the characters and everything about them. I was glad that Patty got his head out of his ass though.
I am so glad that Lany’s friends are meeting the ones they will love forever. I do hope that I will see more of them in the future stories. I can’t wait for Vinnie to get his happy ever after though.
I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Blurb:Dr. Ari Bjord uprooted his life, leaving behind a broken heart as he moved to Maple Grove to become the new town doctor. His work was fulfilling, but he missed having someone special in his life. Ari just never expected that special someone to be an actual angel with a chip on his shoulder and perpetual whiskey bottle in his hand. Ari definitely had his work cut out for him.
Tortured and punished for thousands of years, Gavril was nothing short of bitter and broken. He wouldn’t know love if it walked up and slugged him on the jaw. That was until a sweet little doctor risked his life to help Gavril. Now Ari was all Gavril thought about, all he craved. With overzealous angels out to kill him, Gavril knew it was time to stop running and fight. But his biggest fight of all was learning how to love the most important person in the world to him. His mate.
Review: Each book in the Maple Grove collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc I would suggest reading them in sequential order. This series is connected to the Brac Pack, the Brac Pack Next Gen, Brac Village, Zeus’s Pack, Christian’s Coven, Demon Warriors and a few others. For a better understanding of this amazing world I would suggest start with the first book in the Brac Pack collection.
Ari loved what he did and the help he could give. He loved traveling and enjoying his patients. Then he lost a bit when his ex turned out to be worse then evil. He left his life behind to start a new one in Maple Grove. He was still a damn good doctor but he had lost a bit of himself. Now here he was helping a very grumpy and drunk man who didn’t seem to want his help.
Gavril is an angel and has lost his way, so to speak. He loved the humans he looked over but many angels saw it as wrong. Angels are not the good that they stand for but can be worse then humans when it came to bigotry. They held him prisoner for thousands of year and tortured him every second of every day. His escape led him to the one man that might give him hope, his mate.
I liked these guys quite a bit. I was hoping that this author would throw in angels after awhile. So it was a nice surprise and I truly enjoyed their story. Like most of this authors work there is quite a bit of action and danger mixed in with a bit of humor to make it flow better. I always did like a story that had quite a bit of humor in it and this one had it. I enjoyed seeing some of the old gang back from previous stories.
I had a blast reading it and can guarantee that it is one of those stories that will be read many times over.
Blurb: Jude Pearson is nearly killed twice, and now all he wants is to be left alone. But his ex-coven leader has different plans. He’s hired an assassin to kill Jude for something Jude had no control over. Things become worse when Deputy Roy Benton invites Jude out, and Jude reluctantly accepts the invitation. He has no clue his mate is the cook at the tavern. There was just one problem. Reese detests vampires.
Reese Baas lost his little brother to a vampire attack a decade ago, and the pain is still fresh. When a panicked man runs into the kitchen at the tavern, Reese is shocked to find out Jude is his mate. Jude also has trouble on his heels, and Reese is torn between helping his mate and walking away. The decision is taken out of his hands when Jude becomes pregnant and the assassin closes in on them.
Review: Each book in the Maple Grove collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc I would suggest reading them in sequential order. This story is connect to the Brac Pack series, which has many branched off series.
Jude is a sweet heart of a vampire. He has not had an easy life. He had almost been killed twice and one of those times was by his own uncle. He had killed that asshat but now his family wanted him dead. When a friend asks him to hang out with him, it leads him to someone he had not expected, his mate.
Reese is a rhino shifter who like many rhino’s has a temper but manages to keep it down. It would seem his mate had a way of driving him crazy though. What neither expected was Jude to become pregnant.
Pretty interesting story going on with this one. I have always liked reading this author’s work and have not been let down. It always has a serious tone to it but there is so much humor in it one would not expect it. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.
I had a blast reading it and look forward to reading the next story. I can guarantee that it will be read many times over.
Blurb: I was a pocket protector, glasses wearing, social anxiety disorder, nerd. I was also one of the smartest people I knew, which was why I never understood how some people could do the things they did.
After witnessing a murder and then having someone break into my house and destroy it, my disgust with the world at large only grew deeper. When the man who’d committed that murder takes an unusual interest in me, my disgust took a nosedive. I did the only thing I could think of. I called in the geek squad.
When my friends couldn’t reach me in time, they sent Corporal Abiola Sesay. I had no idea the man even knew who I was, but when Abe showed interest in me, I wasn’t about to say no. Genius, remember?
Someone is after me and they have no problem eliminating any obstacles in their way, including Abe. When I end up having to rescue him, my view of the world starts to change. I still wasn’t sure I liked it, but I was willing to do just about anything to save the man I was falling for, even leave the safety of my comfort zone.
Review: Each book in the Geek Squad collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.
Geek Squad to the rescue and it would seem that Danny might just need him. Not to long ago Danny had came out of his cave to help his best friends out. In the end it left him able to shift in to a beautiful cat. He was also smarter than anyone would ever think and could work on anything. His only problem was people. After working a bit on a program he had headed home but went back to the university when he forgot his gloves. It gave him the opportunity to witness a murder. Now those who are behind it are after him, but not for what he saw. He needed help and Abe came to his rescue.
Abe was part of the same military team as Ian’s boyfriend was. So when the geek squad need rescue they were the ones who went in to help. Abe has always wanted Danny from the moment he saw him and now might just be the chance. But this time Abe is the one who needs to be rescued.
Fascinating, entertaining, unique and some hot sexy times are just a little of what you get in this story. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. However I wasn’t too surprised because this is one author who I will always be on the lookout for her books. The worlds that are created and the characters are a blast to read. I love the closeness that these guys have going on with each other.
I had a blast reading this and can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over.

Blurb: Deer shifter Leon Kinney’s first day at C.L.A.W. sees him thrown into the deep end when he catches the attention of tiger shifter, and assassin, Alistair Byrne. When one of Alistair’s colleagues tries to kill him, revealing himself to be a member of the terrorist organisation known as Pan, it’s Leon’s help he needs.
Leon knew his life would change when he left his old job working for a technology company, but he hadn’t anticipated just how much. He finds himself jetting off to Cuba to go undercover in the house of a drug lord where the only person he can trust is the assassin assigned to protect him.
Falling in love with a killer while pretending to be someone else, being held hostage, and having guns pointed at him way too often wasn’t the way Leon had imagined his life going, but as he was quickly learning, maybe he didn’t know himself as well as he thought.
Review: He had been working a normal job that wasn’t exciting but had what a normal person would need. That is until he was recruited by an organization that included excitement, adventure and danger, for those who were working on the outside. Leon was working as a collection and helped spy’s land on their feet. That was what he thought but on his first day he ended up helping one blow up a tank, and his life got stranger after that. Which considering he was a deer shifter was saying something.
Alistair was not only a spy but an assassin. One assignment that was suppose to be easy turned deadly, a tank was shooting at him. He needed help but the one on the other line was not who he expected. A tiger shifter who had a rough life until he had been taken in by a bear shifter, his job was what one would expected. Now with the help of a sexy little deer shifter they might just get out of this alive.
I came across this author quite some time ago and have always been fascinated by the worlds she has created. So when this series came out I knew I had to get my hands on it. I love paranormal’s that have a bit of suspense, danger, excitement and sexy ass spies in them. This gave me that and so much more. A tiger and a deer are an interesting combination. It caught my attention from the start and kept it till the very end.
I can guarantee that this is one of those stories that will be read many times over. I had a blast reading it and can’t wait to get my hands on the next story.
Blurb: To certain humans, the city is a place riddled with vampires. Cameron Jameson, a lover of art, ventures out of his rural hometown to see the work of his favorite painter in person. There, he meets Duncan Marlow, a persistent vampire. During their spark, an enemy throws Cameron into a new vampire world unknown to him with Duncan.
Duncan Marlow is new to dating a human. Is the vampire world too much for his human partner? A family secret takes Cameron by surprise and Duncan has to find a way to help him adapt. His intentions to keep Cameron away from danger are to no avail.
A fatal accident turns Cameron’s life around. While all expected it to be that simple, it turns out to be much more than ever imagined for them. His new-found existence creates surprise and fear in others during the test-run of his abilities.
Review: His Turn is a standalone paranormal romance by Elsa Aarden. Aarden is not an author that I’m super familiar with – I’ve come across her name a number of times while perusing the Siren website, and I’ve a couple of books in the past. However, this is not an author that I am invested in, to the point that I must read every book. That’s not to saying anything bad about the author or the writing style, I have enjoyed each book I’ve read by Aarden, but there are just so many book and authors that this did not tip to become on my very long must read authors list.
The story starts with Cameron Jameson. He’s a fairly ordinary human who lives with his very human family in a rural town. There seems to be a lot of fear and distrust when it comes to vampires from his people. The big, bad vampires all seem to populate the big, bad city. But being that Cameron loves art, there isn’t much he can do in his small town or farm, so when his favourite artist makes an appearance at an art gallery in the city, Cameron makes the drive. It is at the gallery, that not only does Cameron get to meet his idol, but he also meets Duncan Marlow, a vampire.
Duncan seems to be everything fearful that Cameron has heard about vampire, yet at the same time there is some inexplicable link between the two of them. However, Cameron is uncertain, and rather than push and become too aggressive, Duncan is ready to take things slow. However, there is as much darkness in the world of vampires that Cameron fears. Duncan will do anything to help and protect Cameron.
Cameron and Duncan have a great connection. There is sexual tension from the moment they meet, and while there is kindness and romance, there is also harshness and danger when Cameron must see and become a part of Duncan world, ultimately facing his fears. What I really like the most about Duncan is that while he can be a “brutal vampire” and is partly why he has survived for so long and has become so successful. While the story didn’t grab me and enchant me as much as I would have liked it was these elements that allowed me to enjoy the book.
His Turn is a pretty good, solid romance that wonderfully captures the danger and uncertainty that comes with the world of vampires along with the hot attraction between the main characters. If you’re into paranormal or vampire romances, I reckon it’s worth giving it a go.

Blurb: Enforcer Jeb Taylor found his mate in bear shifter Erik Thomas. He couldn’t be happier. The man was sexy, smart, and funny. He wasn’t happy that someone seemed intent on taking Erik from him. Helping his alpha establish a new clan wasn’t easy, but losing his mate would be impossible.
Erik Thomas’s life was one big roller coaster ride. He went from traveling home from seeing friends to being kidnapped to being rescued by the sexiest bear he’d ever seen. He’d get off the wild ride except that might mean giving up the best thing that ever happened to him.
When trouble comes at them from every direction, they have to learn to rely on each other and those around them to survive what might be someone’s bid to take over the clan.
Review: Jeb’s best friend had found his mate and his mate was an omega, which in turn made Rob an alpha. Two alpha’s can not stay in the same pack so Rob and his mate left the clan but not alone. So when Rob took over the new clan it was full of crafty asshats who thought they could have the clan and sell people. When one of the men ran he had a small accident and Jeb rescued his ass. To Jeb’s surprise the little guy was his mate.
Erik had went on a small vacation, ended up kidnapped to be sold, ran and help his friends escape. Then he had to just step on a bear trap, nothing was going his way. To his surprise a sexy bear shifter saved his ass. A sexy bear who just so happened to be his mate. To bad trouble seemed to follow him.
As always Stormy has written a book that kept me on my toes. I absolutely loved the characters and their story. Bear shifters are one of my top favorites and this just gave it to me. It was well written and was full of action. Although the only thing I found weird is the fact that his ankle was injured, could not shift into his bear but Erik was running after another before he could even shift. Other than that it was an explosive read.
I had a blast reading this and can admit that it will be one of those stories that will be read many times over. I can’t wait to see what the next story will have going on.
Officer Lyn Philips was too young for me, too inexperienced, and too naive for the things I wanted to do to him. Staying away from him was imperative, but it might take more control than I possessed. When Lyn is threatened, all bets are off.
The man I wanted to create a life with didn’t want that life, or me. After waiting an eternity for Sgt. Victor Clarke to make up his mind whether he wanted me or not, I decided to create the life I wanted, even if the man I was in love with wasn’t going to be in it.
When the carefully constructed life I had created was threatened, I had no choice but to call in the SWAT team, even if it meant letting Clarke back into my world. I just hoped I could let him go when the time came, because I knew it would. Clarke had made it more than clear that he didn’t want me and nothing would change that, not even a threat on my life.
Review:This story is branched off of the original Hot Mess so I would start reading those books first.
It is about time is all I have got to say about these two. Each time they look at each other it was like fire burning you to a crisp. Lyn has wanted and loved Clarke for over ten years but the man never made a move. In fact he said the opposite but now Lyn was done. He wanted to start over. To bad starting over has sent danger his way.
Clarke loved Lyn just as much as Lyn loved him, but his fear out weighed the rest. To him Lyn was close to perfect. Where as Clarke was hard as nails. He didn’t want to ever hurt the man but his way wasn’t working. Then when Lyn gets himself into danger, well lets say that his brains have caught up with his heart.
I think that this story and the series that it is connected to are probably my favorites from this author. It is well told and the characters are just about as sexy as one gets. Danger filled, sexy times, quirky attitudes and you get to see Lany in parts of it are just a few things in this story. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.
I can guarantee that this story will be read many times over. I just love the guys and the troubles they get into. I would definitely recommend this story and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next story.

Blurb: His entire life Roy Benton has tried to be half the man his father had been. Unfortunately, he was born with his mother’s petite stature. One evil wolf shifter and a crazed demon want him dead. When Panahasi hides Calhoun in a small town, he has no idea he would find his mate. But the men after Calhoun will stop at nothing to not only destroy him, but the human who has come to mean everything to Calhoun
Review: Calhoun was working for the Ultionem but needed a very long break from it all. He could still remember the bodies in their cages. He needed a change of pace from it all. Seeing his brother had him finding his mate. A mate that was human and had no clue of what was creeping in the dark.
Roy had went out and got stinking drunk then woke up to the sexy bartender. To bad he was still a virgin, it could have been nice. What was not nice was the creeps coming out. To learn he was a mate was shocking but not as shocking as what danger was coming.
Slow and easy read with characters that were quirky as hell. Their world sounds pretty cool if not dangerous. However the fact that even though it does give you the happy ending, it just cuts out. It was to short for my liking and there was so much more that could have been added to make this story stand out. It felt very rushed and made me feel like I was missing so much.
Over all I have always loved reading stories by this author, but the way the stories are being told leave a lot to be desired. There is so much potential in it but the story fell short. Other than that I still enjoyed reading it.

Review: With Heart is a standalone paranormal romance by E.A. Reynolds.
I’m familiar with Reynold’s writing and while I am always to happy to give one of their books a go, I will say my opinion goes between liking and loving some books, while others leave me feeling “meh”, although I would never go as far to say that I dislike a book but more simply it’s unlikely that I’ll re-read it. Definitely one of those authors that is on my radar but I don’t think I’ve really formed a personal opinion on their writing because it does feel like a 50/50 split between “awesome” and “meh”.
And, unfortunately, With Heart is one of those books that falls on the “meh” side of the scale. There is basically only one reason for this and I’ll go into soon.
The plot is quite simple, although I have to admit that I find the blurb a little clunky to read. Covington is a shapeshifter who has lived away from his hometown and his family for some years. He escaped to the big city where he became a cop to get away from his controlling mother and the judgmental family members that do not approve of him being openly gay. But after being summoned home, Covington reluctantly goes. He brings along his human lover, Cameron.
Cameron is a little lost. His relationship with Cove is floundering. He’s happy enough but he knows he needs more from life. He’s grown up without a family, with no parents or siblings, and the confusion over his relationship feeds into this loneliness. Going to Talonwitch with Covington is an eye opening experience. He meets Cove’s disapproving family, finds out some of his boyfriend’s secrets, finds something that could link him to actual family and discovers a world he never thought possible.
However, there is also danger as a number of poorly investigated crimes over the past decades has culminated to this moment. Cove investigating and while Cove is discovering new depths to his relationship, there is also an immediate danger to Cameron.
I like the storyline for the most part. Cameron’s plotline of self-discovery was the most interesting part of the book in my opinion. I also liked the mystery and crime aspect as Cove unravels the darkness plaguing the town.
However, while there is chemistry between Covington and Cameron, I truly struggled. This was a couple on the brink of breaking up, with Covington hoping that Cameron tagging along would speed up this process. However, like with an instalove scenario, these guys suddenly get their shit together without much explanation. In fact, it made Covington a tad unconvincing and unlikeable at first. I get that this was where the BDSM really should have come in, this was part of what was missing between them, but I just didn’t feel it all. I
In general, I think this book is worth a go to anyone that loves paranormal romances, particularly those that like other paranormal titles published by the myriad of Siren authors.
I recommend this one to anyone that is a fan of Reynold’s previous work, particularly those that like their work without reserve. The BDSM elements aren’t particularly strong, but may appeal to those that like a bit of kink with shapeshifters.
Blurb: Raven McCoy is in hiding from his pack. He has no desire to take over the mantle of leadership when his father steps down. But Robert McCoy isn’t taking no for an answer. His father sends his best man to track Raven down and bring him home. But Raven isn’t going anywhere. Not when he’s just found his mate, and not when Jet has trouble on his heels.
Jet Atherton leaves the dark realm once a month to visit his cousin. But on his last visit, something went terribly wrong. Jet is missing two weeks of his life, and he has no memory of what happened to him. All he knows is that he showed up at a mechanic shop, and the owner saved his life. There’s just one problem. Raven is his mate and Jet has to get away from him before the wolf shifter discovers that Jet is unseelie, the most hated fae in the preternatural world.
Review:Each book in the Maple Grove collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This series is branched off from many other series and I would suggest starting with book one in the Brac Pack collection.
Jet is fae but not just any kind of fae, but Unseelie. They are the darkest and most evil of the fae, however Jet is not like the rest of his family. There were many rules and one of them is they can never leave the realm. However he always goes to see his cousin who was in hiding once a month. So lets face it it was not his fault that he was caught and abducted.
Raven has found his mate. He had not expected the young man to show up to be his mate but then again he hadn’t known that he was not human either. When the young man fainted he took him to the one place where a human should go when injured but of course he runs with him as soon as he saw his cute ears.
He just has a few problems going on. Someone wanted his mate, his father wanted him to lead the pack and well just guess.
These stories have been going on for so long that they are starting to resemble each other in parts. The problem is that they are just getting rehashed in similar ways. However it is still quite entertaining and I do enjoy the humor that you can find in them. The characters are quirky and funny as hell in parts of it. There is danger mixed in the story to give you that little bite. I was glad to see some of the old characters from the beginning show up to give it a bit of a push.
Other than my own issues with the story it is still a good read.
Blurb: When Jericho hears whispered voices behind the garage, he investigates, only to find out his uncle and Ivan plan on burying a body back there. But Ivan knows that Jericho heard their conversation, and is determined to bury Jericho’s body, too. His uncle is bad enough with his abuse, but having a polar bear shifter after him has Jericho on edge. Until Ben walks into the diner where Jericho is having breakfast and he discovers that the wolf shifter is his mate.
On his way back from Florida, Ben stops in a small town for gas and some food. When he walks into The Diner Train, he knows something is off. His wolf leads him to a bunny shifter sitting all alone, and the guy is his mate. He is also sporting a black eye. Ben wants to get to the bottom of things, but Jericho isn’t being cooperative. He has to convince Jericho that he isn’t leaving town, that he is serious about their mating, and keep Jericho safe from two shifters out to end him.
Review: It as a day of many bad surprises, okay maybe not all of the surprises were bad. Jericho overheard his uncle and another planning to bury a body. He has also found his mate, and man is the man not sex on a stick. His very male mate and boy did he not want to tell his uncle. He was afraid that the man would get on his motorcycle and run away as fast as he could.
Ben and his best friend needed to take a break from riding. But his luck has changed, he has found out that the sexy bunny shifter is his mate. A mate that is definitely freaking out. To find out that Jericho’s uncle was the one that hurt him but also the dead body, well Ben wasn’t going anywhere.
You have a small town with noisy neighbors walking in, someone always stealing your food, pretty cool characters and danger in these stories. The problem was that they are following pretty much the same pattern. Big wolf shifter, small bunny shifter, danger and so on is just a bit to used for me to truly love the story. Other than that though it is still entertaining.
I enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading the next book.
