One night spent in Wylde Fleur’s arms and Cass can’t imagine being anywhere else. There’s only one problem…his fae has disappeared.

Wylde Fleur has a lot of experience bucking the system. He has been banished from Glitter Glow Park because he refuses to follow in his father’s footsteps. He was even shunned by the fae because he became a lawyer. Now, he’s chosen to take up with a vampire.

Review: This is book three in this series and they need to be read in order. It will make the characters known to you and will give you an insight into their world. It is an amazing series. I love the way Stormy and Lynn’s put their heads together and write an awesome book. This series has so much humor in it that I couldn’t stop laughing.

Cass is a vampire who has so many bad lines that you can’t help but feel sorry for him. However many times he was told to bug off or slapped, he did have one night where a little man loved those lines, in fact begged for them. The only problem was he hadn’t gotten his name so he could not find him. Now that had to suck.

Wylde is fae who not only had he been banished from his home for wanting to be a lawyer instead of going into the family business, but his father had torn his wings off of him as punishment. He had been living and hanging with his best friend. Till one night, he met Cass and had to have him. He had loved everything the man had done to him and more but had not expected the bite. Also, when he broke into a room at the Ministry archives he finds out why fae and vampires don’t mix. If their blood called to each other and they mated, Wylde can get pregnant.

Now I sit here laughing because it is such a blast when you find out a man can get pregnant and then he will know what it is like to have a child. Which is exactly what happened to Wylde. The problem is that his father Levi finds out. Cass will do everything in his power to get the man he loves back.

This book will give you everything you need when you read it. It has the right amount of humor, seriousness, danger, and excitement in it. I loved this book as much as the series. It just gets better with each story. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end.

Blurb: When Pan Thyr is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, he’s determined to take down the man responsible for his torture. But being on the run makes it hard to prove his innocence. He is not only fighting to clear his name, but prove to Igorian Hunchback that they are meant to be together.

Igorian refuses to give in to his desires where Pan is concerned. Although the man is a walking wet dream, Igorian has been taught that vampires don’t mate outside their race. It is a lesson drilled into him from rebirth.

When wanted posters go up and the two must run for their lives, Igorian learns that fighting against the attraction he feels for Pan is futile. Can the two clear their names and the misconceptions taught to Igorian, or will the Ministry of Paranormal Affairs doom them both to a death sentence before Igorian finds out what it means to purr for a panther shifter?

Review: This is book two in this series and they need to be read in order. Not only will it give you an insight into each character but also a back ground of their amazing world. I love the way each character intermingle with each other. This particular story was a blast to read not to mention one of the funnier ones. Igorian is Vlad’s personal assistant and a vampire. He is the one that was scared of Vlad’s mate Bela who happens to be human.

Iggy had been seeing and sleeping with a certain panther named Pan. He had been raised that you do not for any reason mix races so he was not only surprised by his body’s reaction but his feelings that seem to be growing for Pan. Just looking at him gets him turned on faster than anyone had ever been able to. He will also do anything to help him. Even if it meant doing something, he had never done before ever. He is the true colorful, vibrant, very vocal gay man. Although Bela tells him all the time, he really needs to get better colors.

Pan had stolen a file for Vlad but had kept a copy of it for his own reasons. What he had not expected Ministry of Paranormal Affairs to intervene. They had arrested him in front of his mate. Although his mate was his alibi, he had not said a word to help him. Pan knew Iggy was scared but he didn’t really know what. He also knew that he was in deep trouble.

When Iggy tried to find out where he was taken to make things right, he found out that Pan’s arrest was not a real arrest. Pan was in danger and now Iggy had to go in and save his butt. Breaking into the Ministry of Paranormal Affairs was probably not his best idea but he had to save the man he had fallen in love with. Now all he had to do is figure out how to do it, and not let Vlad know what he was up to. Although his idea of breaking someone out of a cell, dressing up as a woman, and begging the higher-ups for help was not what he had expected.

You will love this book if you like vampires, werewolves, were panthers, the paranormal worlds, crazy mates, great attitudes and danger. This is an amazing book and a wonderful series. I can guarantee that you will get an amazing reaction to this book. I can’t wait to get my hand on the next book.

Review: Teegan Loy has written a very enjoyable, sometimes emotional story, about two young men, both in sports, both gay, and both trying to find their balance. Both Justin and CJ are damaged souls, both conflicted with demons from their past but who have a very good support system thru family and friends if they will allow themselves to reach out, accept the resources, and help around them.

Justin has recently returned home from California where he was away training for the US Nationals. After his mother passed away, he misunderstood some things and felt everyone was against him. His dad was heartbroken from losing his wife, and probably a little standoffish, his siblings were getting more and more distant, the boy he loved would not come out to be with him, so he fled. He decides to come home with the hope and intentions of putting all of these bad demons that haunt him, in his past. It’s not an easy thing to do when he doesn’t want to communicate with anyone, nor tell them how he feels. He has a chip on his shoulder most of the time, and he avoids situations that he feels will put him to much in the spotlight. He continues to have nightmares from things he wants to forget. Will he ever be able to come forward and face the demons he carries around in his head and heart? Will he finally open up, allow someone else in his heart, and share his burdens and torment with him? Justin hates all hockey players, or so he thinks. Will he give CJ a chance to show him he’s his own person? He doesn’t act like the rest of the guys on the team and he wants the chance to prove that to Justin.

CJ is a new transfer that has joined the hockey team. The same team Justin’s dad is the coach for. He is also gay, but he hides it from the team. He, also, is hiding a lot of fear and hurt from a situation that happened in his hometown. He has a hard time letting anyone in his heart or opening up about his past troubles. When you have been abused and ridiculed by people you thought you could trust, that makes him very weary to put himself in that situation again. He and Justin start to get close, they have sex and it’s good but they have a lot to learn. CJ is not as experienced as Justin, but they are working on it and they have good chemistry. He is not willing, or…. more like he is afraid to confide in Justin, so he keeps his past locked up. Justin knows something bad happened, it must have, he just doesn’t know what. Will he be able to convince CJ to share his feelings with him? What happens when Danny, the boy who Justin was in love with, realizes he made a mistake?

Teegan Loy held my interest throughout this entire story. I think that she done an amazing job with the plot as it continued to move forward. I don’t know if the facts were correct in relation to the skating world, whether it was figure skating or ice hockey. What I do know, is she made me believe they were. I was fascinated with the ins and outs that she described within the setting. I would have liked for the boys to come to a resolution a little sooner, in regards to their relationship, but that is just me wanting the romance kicked up a few notches. She still held my attention waiting and wondering what would happen next. The author has included some wonderful side characters that were a large part of this story. Eli, Justin’s best friend was awesome, supportive and extremely funny. I would love to see him have his own story in the future. I would recommend this to anyone who loves sports driven plots and who enjoy laugh out loud banter between characters. There is quite a bit of angst with both Justin and CJ, as they try to figure out how to slay their demons once and for all. It’s a good story, read it for yourself, I think you will agree.

Blurb: Vy Aleknos is the leader of a hawk shifter flock. Openly gay since he was a teen, Vy is proud and self-assured on the outside, while secretly worrying he’ll be forced to spend his life alone because two males can’t be mates. When bear shifter Robert Cimino appears in Vy’s small town, Vy realizes his concerns were unfounded — he has a male mate, and a sexy, dominant one to boot.

Robert is a bear shifter who refuses to shift. Immediately attracted to Vy, he deviates from his normal pattern and seeks more than a one-off with the powerful, bristly hawk. But Robert’s affections are rooted in his human form, and when Vy discovers Robert doesn’t recognize him as his mate, he pulls away. If Robert wants to stay with Vy, he must convince a man deeply ruled by his animal instincts to give their relationship as humans a chance.

Review: Vy is kuar of his hawk shifter flock and while he wants a mate, he has always feared he would not have one because he is gay. When Vy meets Robert, he is overjoyed at discovering his mate but when he realizes Robert doesn’t recognize him as his mate Vy begins to fall into a downward spiral of doubt. Robert has lived for most of his life as human. But he is strongly drawn to Vy and wants to give their relationship a go. But when Vy turns him away, Robert tries to prove to Vy that their human side is just as important as their animal sides.

This is an incredible story of two shifters coming together from different angles, one from shifter mating and the other from human attraction, and working out their differences to become a couple where love shines through. Vy is ruled by his animal side, everything he does is based on what is good for his ket and flock, but what happens when his mate isn’t ruled by his animal instincts? Robert has avoided his animal side ever since he was a young boy, watching a tragedy unfold before him has him caging his animal so he would never react like he saw others do, but what happens when his love interest ignores him human feelings? Vy and Robert have a rough road ahead of them as they try to find a balance not just for themselves but for Vy’s ket as well.

This was a wonderful story to read, it was such a joy to see these two men, who value different things about a person, to come together and make their relationship work. It isn’t easy though because Vy places such value in his animal instincts, but Robert goes with his human instincts… so we have a great bit of frustration as we silently scream at Vy because he ignores his human side. Robert is a complete sweetheart and we root for him as he tries to crack through Vy’s stubborn shell, and, as he handles the ket with panache. We do learn why Robert is so wary of his own bear and it breaks your heart when he is forced to shift but Vy handles it wonderfully, proving that he is the shifter worthy of Robert.

Oh if there was ever a marriage that should be celebrated then it is of Mary Calmes and Cardeno C’s writing collaborations because these two authors can melt a heart at a thousand yards and leaves you blissed out on warm fuzzies for hours after the conclusion of their stories *sigh* just magic. Control is another beautifully blended story, the authors writing slips seamlessly together and complements each other perfectly. The story is written from both characters points of view and we clearly know when the perspective changes. The storyline is wonderful showing that getting to know your mate is just as important as the mating instinct. There is some danger, tension, and violence but none of it is overdone and fits perfectly in the story, it isn’t just there for show.

I recommend this to those that love shifters, difficult matings, fantastic characters, a great storyline, hot sex, a story that leaves you with the warm fuzzies and a wonderful ending.

Review: This is an anthology and a bit of a bizarre one at that. It gives you ninja’s and hell folk all the way around. I was quite surprised by it but it was missing quite a bit for me to truly love. I love the authors imagination and gift at telling a story. It is pretty amazing, but not enough to make me want to read it again. I will tell you though it kept me laughing through the whole book, which gives it higher points all together. I love the characters you can’t help but fall in love with them. It will catch your attention and keep it all the way to end.
Clean Up On Aisle Me ♥♥♥3Hearts
Jonny’s mundane life gets a stealth makeover when he discovers a band of ninjas fighting off hell spawn in the party store where he works. After a close encounter of the super-gross kind, Jonny and his ninja mentor, Bert, have an encounter of their own, this one much hotter. Jonny’s on board for joining the merry band of good guys in black—and for taking things further with Bert—but first he’ll need to prove he’s up for both tasks.

They go after phantasms, incubi, imps and even wendigo’s but Jonny seems to be going after Bert. This was funny and incredibly weird. One minute he is griping about having to work and the next he is seeing ninja’s.
It is a cute little story, but like I said weird. It is part of this strange but exciting anthology. I would recommend it for the laughs alone. Shae will give you some good stories if this one is anything to go by. A great imagination and a gift for telling a story.

Sheathing His Sword ♥♥2Hearts
It is porno time with two hot and sexy men, lots of sex and ok they never actually get to the sex part because the one who wrote the story never told his family and friends that he makes gay porn or the fact that he is gay.

Aiden and Nicky were supposed to be making a porn about a man in the kitchen getting a big surprise from a ninja breaking into his apartment. Only there is a bit of surprises to both. Well one is the father of course, but then there is this plant on the windowsill that he wasn’t expecting.

I am not sure what to say about this story other than the fact that it was funny as hell. I couldn’t even get any air in my lungs because I was too busy laughing at it. It is a cute little story that when you want a humorous story or need one this is the one to pick.

Twink Ninja Tiger, Flaxen Buns of Fury ♥♥2Hearts
Ok the first two stories in this anthology were funny but this one took the top. I mean at first it seems like it is a group of men swearing chastity, studding the ways of life and being monks, but it is a bunch of guys trying to be ninja’s. Butt Ninjas to be truthful.

“We mean no disrespect,” Master Beard attempted to put the man at ease. “We were simply expecting Father Leviticus, who’s been visiting us regularly for the past several decades, and you took us by surprise. Word is typically sent to us if there’s been a change, even a temporary one.” “This was rather sudden,” the figure explained. “Father Leviticus ate some bad shellfish and is attempting to maintain cleanliness.” “Through prayer and water?” “Mostly with Depends. Anyway, rather than get everybody’s frock and habit in a twist upstairs, he asked if I’d fill in for him since he’s been training me for it anyway. In essence, I’m the emissary for the emissary.” “I’m not entirely sure what that makes you.” “Think of me as Emissary Lite or a cousin by marriage once removed who married one of his brothers or sisters, only in a God-like way, not the Southern Baptist way, but just until I complete my training. Now—” He turned and looked around at the large welcome room, searching for anything that would indicate where the interior doors on the other side led. “Is there somewhere I can freshen up and make myself adorably cute again? I also have to drain my main boy box like there’s no mañana.”

Ashton is an emissary sent to them to study and teach, however everything that comes out of his mouth is very sexual even though it isn’t meant to. Ky is close to the end of his training, but when they are all in the bath water and Ashton is talking about daddies, sexual positions and being a virgin, well let’s just say that night he was not any longer and neither was the head of the place.
It is a funny little story but weird as can be. I am not too sure what else to say about this book, but if you want a short story that will cheer you up then this is the book to pick up.

Twerk It ♥♥♥3Hearts
What happens when a demon slayer goes hunting in Hell? Twerk it, baby.

L’lousche is a minor sex demon with short-shorts, tall boots, a Hell Kitty t-shirt, and a magic backside. When he shakes that ass, no soul in Hell or on Earth can resist the urge to sin. Not even the demon slayer who’s supposed to kill him.
Well this was one of the better stories in this book. I mean it was still funny but it had just a bit of danger to it. A major demon gets caught by a minor sex demon, gets paranoid that Satan will find out so he wants to take out the sex demon. So he hires Hugo who happens to be a demon slayer to kill L’lousche. Only Hugo see’s Llousche and wants him for his own. Now to kill the one who hired him to kill the other.
This is a cool story, better if it had been longer with more detail. It would have made an excellent novella or even a novel if it had been in more detail. It was good and I think that once you start reading it you will want to read the rest of the book.

Hell Is Where the Heart Is ♥♥♥♥3.5Hearts
All he wanted was Diomede but Diomede didn’t want him. Or that was what he was told by his mother Big Deal of the Sixth Level of Hell. However, that was not the truth in fact Diomede had been told by his mother Big Deal of the Fifth Level of Hell and Noorvik’s mother.
Noorviks mother had told him it was time for grandbabies and that he was to have a mate. She started bringing out female demons but all he wanted to do was scream that he was gay. So with the help of a friend he attends a party to find a human male. What he had not expected was Dillon was in fact Diomede.

This was a better story then the others. It actually gives you something to grab on to. It gives you two sexy men or should I say demons that want each other. The problem was each time they had gotten together in the past they ended up with earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. It is an awesome story.

Ninja, Vanish ♥♥2Hearts
Dallas, Marc, Alec, and Colt were actors. Very bored actors who did rainbow ninja’s shows on Saturday for the kiddies. Now they would do anything to get a real acting job. Although I doubt they meant to work for Hell.

Colt signed the contract that Asmodeus shows him. He works for Hell for one year to show the people who hell is where the action is. It wasn’t till the end that he finds out who not only he is working as, but also it had turned out so were his friends. Now they just have to figure out how to turn it all around.

This was one of the stranger stories, but not as bad as one expects. It has a cool plot to it, but is still very strange. It will definitely have you on the edge of your seat laughing your ass off with it though.

The Soldier and the Vagabond ♥♥♥♥3.5Hearts
This was one of the cuter stories. Kioshi was the vagabond and all he had wanted was food. He was starving so one day he had coned the owner of the store to go look at some other food for him when he had stolen two apples. He had thought he had got away when a soldier caught him. He knew that in Japan the price of stealing is the loss of a hand. He had to get this soldier to spare him.

Tamotsu was a Genin Soldier to Shonin Momochi Sandayu. This is a mercenary for the Shonin. He had stopped the young thief only to find himself wanting this man for his own. He paid the merchant for the apples and let Kioshi go. Kioshi had been attracted once more by a bully. Tamotsu saved him again and then when Kioshi looked for him, he had found himself in a little bit of trouble. Tamotsu wanted him for the rest of his life.

This story is better than a few of the others, because it actually gives you a story line that you can follow and characters that will charm you. It is cute and it will keep your attention through it all. I wished it were longer because it would have made a great long read.

A Ninja Walks Into A Bar ♥♥♥♥3.5Hearts
Nikita sends Akira to bring Delos to hell. He was to do a test but either way he was not going back home. What Nikita had not realized was that Delos, also known as Dallas was actually neutral. He would never choose evil or good. Akira who is also known as Ki wants Dallas for the rest of his life but he knew that Dallas would not survive. He was to die at the hands of Nikita.

Nikita is actually Dallas father and a lord from Hell. He wants his son killed before he takes over the reins. Ki will do everything in his power to help Dallas, but he was not as strong as his lord. He was a demon ninja.

This story has way too many characters to try to figure out. It is a good story but bizarre. I think that had it been an actual novel it would get high points. It has all the major points that brings a story to an amazing end. It gives you sexy men, hot sex. There is a kink factor, danger, excitement and a bit of adventure in it.

Review: I’ve got to say K.J. Charles is quickly becoming one of my top five favorite authors of the mystery and m/m genre. I can really sink my teeth into her characters, and she illustrates her worlds with words so well that I can feel, smell and nearly tough the settings her stories are part of. And while I’ve read some of her longer novellas, Charles is queen of the short story. The plots feel complete, yet leave me hungry for more, more… more!

I admit I read this series in an odd order, starting with Remnant and then picking up with Caldwell Ghost and then Butterflies. But I decided to read the earlier installments because I was fixated with the character of Simon Feximal. He’s disturbed, obviously haunted by a dark past, inked with powers of sorcery, and his dominant streak….oh hells yeah that’s frickin’ hot!

The interesting twists this ghost haunting takes had been quickly planted and the seeds grew into something wickedly sexy, if not a bit multi-generationally incestual. But hey, kissing cousins and all that.

Robert Caldwell seems to be a perfect foil for Simon Feximal and I can’t wait to read more about this adventurous, mystery solving couple.

Review: An interesting and dare I say unique twist to paranormal! I’ve read plenty of empath, and incubus scenarios, but the writing and storyline in Passage is refreshing and engrossing! Evey had me captured from the first pages, and I read through the night until the very end.

The way the history of Andy’s life develops, I both love and hate his mother. I admire her courage and detest her fears and prejudices. It’s very rare when a true love hate relationship develops with a character.

The paranormal twists are interesting. I had not read Capriole and Lavade prior to this book, and I’m not sure why this isn’t listed as a continuation of that series. It most certainly is. I felt the history and the missing pieces in the very first chapter. Yet this book stands alone quite nicely. Not having read the two previous books kept this story and its plot more of a surprise for me. Otherwise, I would have made the connection between the conditions of Andy’s birth with his missing/dead father much faster.

Andy has many layers. At times, I feel he’s selfish and very naïve in a youthful way, other times I forgive those flaws because of how isolated and troubled he is by hiding his secrets. He needs some maturity under his belt, but he’s got the bones to be a very strong and deep character.

Enrique is such a tortured character. He’s on the run from extreme abuse, from his brother who sacrificed his humanity to save him, from the killers who held him captive, and from his own demons. He knows what he is, and does not want to subject Andy to his demon side, yet Andy does everything humanly possible to tempt him.

Just a fair warning, there is extreme violence, and plenty of heartbreak, but everything comes full circle in the end. The story ends perfectly set up to continue with Enrique’s brother’s journey. So I look forward to the next book, and I’m excited to go back and read Capriole and Lavade to pull all of the puzzle pieces together.

Blurb: It seemed like a great idea at the time… Aussie Dave Taylor has followed Nicholas Goring to England, and the lovers have become engaged. But now Dave has to cope with living in a mansion full of family and servants, making wedding plans, getting his head around visa applications, and wondering why on earth he’d ever want to wear a ‘mourning suit’. He’s not sure if it will prove any easier, but right now Dave would love to just skip ahead to the honeymoon…

Review: This is book two of the Butterfly Hunter Series. I think you should read them in order. I haven’t read the first and wish I had. I would have liked to known how Dave and Nicholas met and I think it would have answered a few questions I had. However, I don’t think it hurt my view of the book.

I think the story is very good. I loved both Nicholas and Dave. The story was one of the most beautiful love stories I have read in a while. I love the descriptions of the places they visit, I felt as if I were there.

There is a touch of mystery mixed in that added a bit of excitement to the story. I found the end a bit abrupt, but I am hoping for another book. I would have liked something at the end to let me know there is more in this series coming.

If you like sweet, sensual, emotional romances, sexy Australians, hot English dignitaries, butterflies, beautiful scenery, and a little very sensual, loving mansex, same-sex weddings and happy for now endings, this is for you.

Lisa’s Review: ♥♥♥2.5Hearts

This was a bizarre story, but kind of cute. It gives you twins that are not actually twins. I mean, they are not brothers, they just looked alike. Everywhere one went the other had been and people would make comments that led them to wondering what was going on. Every time Blayne went somewhere someone would comment, he would tell them that they are either completely lost their minds or he was beginning to.

Blayne finally spots his look alike in a gay bar. However, his best friend Doug distracted him so much that he lost him in the crowd. Doug vows to make it up to him, and the fact that he wants to know the answer to. He also wants to know if Cary looked identical to Blayne naked as well as when he is dressed.

Cary had been involved with Landon. However, he wanted something that Landon had not been able to give. He wanted something that would last. He wanted a partner for life. What he does not expect was to find the one man that looks just like him. Enough to find out if they were alike in other ways.

It was a cute story but strange as all get out. I am not really sure what to say about it. I did actually like it but not enough to want to read it again. It gives you something to think about though. I mean to hot and sexy men getting all bothered when they are together makes for a hot affair. It did leave me hanging at the end though and that I cannot get into. I want a story that has an actual story line that goes further into details. However if you want a story that will give you a humorous side to it. It will keep you laughing at the antic’s to find out who the other is.

Tams Review: ♥ 1 Heart

Blayne Carter goes to pick up his morning coffee and is slightly dumbfounded with the server makes a comment about him just being there. Again, when he takes an empty seat next to another customer, she questions why he’s back so soon. All over town it keeps happening, he’s baffled. Then at the bar, he quite literally runs into a man who could be his twin. It takes several days but then a phone call and an agreement to meet up at a local coffee shop, Blayne and Cary finally come face to face.

It’s like looking into a mirror for them and since they are both gay they decide to find out if the similarities are from head… to toe.
This story had a lot of potential at the start. Two men who look so much alike everyone that meets them thinks they are twins, or in fact the same person. But it was so choppy and mismanaged that the idea never quite took hold. The dialogue between Blayne and Cary was that of two teenage boys about to experience their first sexual encounter. Not that of two grown, successful and always gay men that are not virgins. It just wasn’t cohesive, believable or engaging.

I really wanted to like this book, I have an indecent fascination with twin stories, and this one did not hit the mark though.

A BLINDING LIGHT

It begins with a Book of Shadows discovered by a London coven. The grimoire is as dangerous as it is rare, which is why it evokes modern-day warlock Quinn Fairmont’s desire. He collects objects of great power and beauty—like his lover, Cade Mairston.

Against all odds he and Cade found each other, but their perils have just begun. First is the ex-lover who once held Quinn in thrall. And, someone has been killing warlocks. Could it be one of his own kind? There are those too who would challenge Quinn’s power in their quest to overthrow him as Grand Master. Or is the danger something darker, something invoked inadvertently, rising from the shadows, building from the very inside of a man until it brings an end with a quick flash of light? Of the truth, the surface has only been scratched. Now Quinn and Cade must go deeper and find both answers and an end. They must learn what lurks in the hearts of men…and whether it seeks to love or destroy.

Blurb: Déjà vú, but can Kyle change the way it all went down last time, so he can keep the only man he ever loved?

Standing over another mutilated person, Kyle knows the rogue werewolf is back. He’d seen this before, year ago, when everything turned to shit.

Brad was in two minds about coming back to his hometown after running away because of a kiss—that resulted in his best mate’s murder. When his mentor asks for his help, Brad agreed a little too easily.

But it was an excuse to run into the one man he’d been pining over for too long now. Why he can’t get Kyle out of his head, Brad isn’t sure. However, as soon as he locks eyes with Kyle, the fresh wash of lust tells him he may never be able to.

Can a goal to hunt down the rogue that took their friend’s life—the reason they had been apart—be a reconnection they both so desperately need?

Review: This is book five in this series and they need to be read in order. It keeps their world and characters in order. You get to understand them better and see where they are going and what they do. With just reading this book, you will kind of get lost trying to figure out why they do what they do.

Kyle had been dating Brad’s best friend when Brad had kissed him. A short time later, Kyle had come across his boyfriend’s body. It had torn him apart. Now Brad is back and there is another murder caused by a rogue.

Brad had left to get his head on straight and came back when his mentor asked for his help. He had also come back to see the man he had left so long ago. A man that he had wanted then and still did. However, it had been his fault that his best friend had been killed. Oh, he had not been the one to murder him but he was still at fault for some of it.

Now all he had to do is get Kyle to forgive him, but Kyle has to also forgive himself. However when they are together it is hot and full of passion. There are still many different types of dangers out there and they fight to keep each other safe. There is so much feeling in this story that one will fall in love with them. You can tell from the way they look and search for each other. How protective they are, and everyone around them can tell that these two need to be together. The true reason for them not being together was the rogue that killed Pete. Each holding onto their guilt, which in truth they are mates

This is a very good story, one that will catch your attention with the first paragraph and will keep it all the way to the end. If you love paranormal romance then this is a book you might want to grab. It has amazing characters that you can relate to and understand fully why they do the things they do and feel the way they feel. You will get to know them and fall in love with each one and cheer them on all the way. Sometimes you will want to just smack them upside the head when they get to pigheaded.

This is a great series that you will want to read over and over. One that you will want to read while taking an afternoon rest. The guys are hot and sexy, what they are fighting for will make you cheer them on, danger all around, excitement and a little adventure in the mist. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

Review: This is book four in this series and they should be read in order. I haven’t had a chance to read the first three books but after reading this one, I just have to go buy them and read them all. It is that good of a book. A lot of books you pick up, read, and find out that it is a really great one but you never pick it up again. Well this book makes you feel like reading it more than once. I love the way the story was told. It has such a serious nature about it. Ian’s parents had been killed by tiger shifters a very long time ago. So he and Breaker started a gang, one that was blood thirsty and dangerous to clean up their town. It wasn’t completely true but they are a feared gang. They are fighting tigers, bears, Russians and the Triade.

Seb and his twin Fisk are thieves, very good at it too if not the best. However, they still got caught by Ian. Ian had paid a fortune and bought Fisk even had sex with him. That was before Fisk mated Breaker and Ian met Fisk’s twin Seb. He knew that Seb was his mate but he had two problems. One was his sleeping with Fisk and two was Seb wasn’t gay. He tried so hard to get Seb’s attention even knowing that it wasn’t going to work. He would however do everything in his power to keep not only his pack safe but also his mate. His mate had been injured by silver poisoning when he was just a child. It made him weak at certain times.

Seb had feelings for Ian, he was scared and confused about it, but he knew that Ian was indeed his mate. He just had to work it out in his own mind. All of his life he felt like he was broken, weak, a failure and sometimes he felt like that but he wanted to prove to everyone that he can help them. Ian and Breaker were wolves known for strength and violence where as Seb and Fisk were cat shifters known for the minds. When they combine their strengths, they can be unstoppable. Even with the addition of one tiger shifter helping them they were still in danger, so now would be a good time to listen to their cat.

I love the way that at first it comes off as if Seb hates Ian but it morph’s into love. There is so much passion between them that it would set the woods on fire. I love how it takes them time, work to get it all settled between them, and that Ian does show Seb his tender side and vulnerability. It always makes it better when an alpha wolf shows their mate that they can be vulnerable to. It makes their love even better.
I loved this book and cannot wait to check out all of Zoe’s books. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I would recommend reading this book if you love two hot and sexy men, power struggles, wolf shifters tiger shifters, bear shifters, mages, cat shifters, love, excitement and lots of dangers. It is one amazing story that will give you everything you ever want.

Blurb: Out of the Cage: Sometimes, when something seems too good to be true, it isn’t.
When wolf shifter Yates Cruner helps save several humans from a dingo shifter pack using them as slaves, he doesn’t expect to find his mate among them. Oh, not one of the humans, but one of the surviving dingo shifters who has been beaten and abused just as much as the humans. It seems the dingo pack had one rule…I’m more dominant than you are. I can do whatever I want to you. Yates realizes his little mate has a long road of healing ahead, and most of it isn’t for physical wounds.
Aryen Fowles learned his place early in life, keep his head down, kneel at the other shifter’s feet, and do whatever they ask. If he did that, he could avoid being punished. When a group of strange shifters takes over the pack, the rules change. Aryen struggles to understand what’s expected of him. When one of the wolves offers him pleasures he’d never experienced before, he wonders if he could accept his offer at face value or was it too good to be true?

Review: This is book twenty-three in this series and they need to be read in order. It just makes for a better series when you do, although you can read them separate it is just easier to follow. It gives you a sense into their world and might give you a lead into who each character is especially the alpha’s. Yates is a wolf shifter who has been searching for his mate for quite some time. His alpha loaned him to another alpha to recognize some humans being held by dingo shifters. What they found were not only were the humans being used for slaves but also several of the dingo’s themselves. Including his mate Aryen.

Aryen was so used to knowing his place, that it would take some time for Yates to show him that he has a long road of healing to go through. Aryen had been tortured and raped over the time that they had him. He knew to keep his head down, kneel at the other shifter’s feet, and do whatever they were asked. When Yates saves him, Aryen doesn’t know what is expected of him.

They have a long road ahead of them, especially when one of the human females wants Aryen dead. She just won’t get it through her head that he was a victim also. Yates will do everything in his powers to keep his mate safe. Aryen has to learn to live again, to live free with a mate who loves him. You can tell the way they are together that there is a lot of love in them. There is even a hint of kink in this book. Even though Aryen is not a sub and Yates is not a Dom, you can see that there is just a hint of it.

It is an amazing book, although most of Charlie’s book are. She has a gift that just keeps on giving. A way to bring you into their world’s with just a few lines in a book. I am very glad to add this book into my library. I can guarantee that once you start reading this book you won’t be able to put it down till the very end. It is the perfect length to me, not to short and not a complete novel. I can sit down on the couch, with my legs tucked under me, a soda on one side of me, and the radio playing and just read this book. I loved it and I cannot wait till the next book comes out.

Review: This is book one in this series and they should be read in order. It is a pretty amazing story. I love the way it was told and the characters are awesome. I love Cody and Remy. You can’t help but fall in love with them. Cody had been kidnapped, tortured, raped and in serious pain both physically and mentally. His family searched for him and when they found him, he was tied down and marks were all over his body. His friend Felix was the one that found him promised to never tell what had really happened to him. He shifted into his cougar and healed at least physically.

Remy had needed a ride from the airport so when he had called he got a hold of a cranky man. When he had found out that Cody was that cranky man, he also learned that this sexy man was his mate. Cody had given Felix permission to tell Remy what had happened to him. It tore Remy’s heart to know that his mate had been through something so horrific. He knew that he needed to be patient and give him some time to learn what he is about. He knew that he could fall in love with this man if he was not all ready in love with him.

The problem was there were missing shifters, which held the same clues that the man who hired the one to hurt Cody was in fact the one who was behind the differences. Cody had been abducted twice in such a short time, but the second one was easier for Cody to defend himself. They had so many dangers out there that Remy just wanted to keep Cody safe. Cody knew that he would love his mate and that he would heal enough to finish their bonding and mating. He just needed a little mystical help to finish healing him. In time, they would have a true mating.

They have poachers, shifter hunters, killers, gunfights, and many other dangers out there. You will fall in love with Cody and Remy. There is so much tenderness between them, and the way Remy is with Cody you can tell that he will always love his mate. It just makes for an awesome story. It has the right amount of everything that you would ever want in a story. I loved it and cannot wait to read the next book in this series. I have found another author to add to my library. Rae has an amazing gift at telling stories. It caught my attention at the very beginning and kept it all the way to the end.

I would recommend reading this book to anyone who loves paranormal books, hot men, tender stories, love, excitement, and danger.

Review: This is book 3 in this series and I have got to tell you even though it is a good story I just had trouble with it. It was missing something I am not for sure what.

B-Tach is the co-winner of the Kentucky Derby. He is supposed to go against Taifu in a rematch. He is a horse with magic. He can turn into a human and is mated to Pat. Pat is not only a pucca but also human. He has mage powers.

The problem is the mafia still wants to kill Brenden. Because of all the dangers around them, they decided to keep their magical sides a secret. Which basically means Vee cannot change into human form until nightfall. It doesn’t leave them much time together though. Brenden wants Pat to keep up his magic training so that he can protect both him and Vee.

In this book Vee, who is also V-Tach hates the track surface at the Pimlico. There is something seriously wrong there. Pat has always had this dream of being number one, but with the Mafia coming after them he fears that their dreams will be struck down.

It is a cute story about love and two very sexy men. However, it is just downright bizarre. I love paranormal stories but there is just something about this story that will draw you in. It is just a different world in this book. I don’t much care for the fact that Vee is too much of a horse than he is a human. It just seems a bit weird to me. I can’t wait to see if the next book is any different.

For the briefest moment, Cooper wasn’t sure Jayson was gay, but then Jayson kissed him and stole more than just the wild drummer’s breath.

Jayson Keller has spent his life hiding who he was. He and his mother escaped his abusive father when he was young, only for her to choose a replacement that replaced the physical abuse with angry words. He has always explored his sexuality behind closed doors and decided when he was a young adult that his true attraction lies with other men. His mantra has always been, I’ll come out when there is someone worth coming out for. Could Cooper be that person?

The two struggle with every aspect of their relationship except the physical one. Their attraction is immediate, intense and burns white-hot. It’s a flame that is never extinguished. It’s the trust, communication, falling in love and being loved that they are having issues with. Can Coop trust Jayson to be open and honest with him about everything? Can Jay trust Cooper with his heart, and not constantly worry his new lover is falling into the arms of another. Reputations do proceed us, you know. While passion in a relationship is extremely important, so is trust and communication. If Cooper and Jayson are going to make a go of it, they will have to learn that difficult balance between the three.

Lister has created some of the most fascinating characters with her Rock Gods series. This is book 3, and while the struggles are similar with each installment, each different character definitively shows a life of their own. I loved how she took the bad boy rocker, Coop, and showed how he was completely annihilated emotionally by the good old boy, Jayson. These two are like rabbits, which at first annoyed me, but then I realized that it was an important aspect of the story Lister was telling for these two characters. It’s safe and easy for them to just fall into bed. What’s difficult and hard is to talk, open up and trust each other with everything, especially their hearts.

Three dimensional and fantastically flawed characters undoubtedly bring ‘Make You Mine’ to life. But the in-depth and detailed writing skills of Lister add a reality and a beauty to the story that would be lost otherwise. This is a must read for those that like rocker stories, true love, hopeless romantics and those HEA endings!

Blurb: Chris Boyden loved Matt VanderVeen since junior high. But growing up gay in the Bible belt of west Michigan was difficult, and unlike Matt, he wasn’t brave enough to face the prejudice head-on. Especially when his family told him over and over, that he wouldn’t be able to attend college without a scholarship.

Back in high school, he worried that coming out would get him kicked off the baseball team or make recruiters reluctant to scout him. Eventually, Matt broke up with him when he couldn’t handle being Chris’s secret boyfriend any longer, but college has given them a second chance — if Chris has the courage to take it.

When a terrible injury puts Chris’s baseball scholarship in jeopardy, it reminds Chris of all the reasons he stayed in the closet to begin with, and his ultra-masculine father’s expectations and thoughtless homophobia aren’t helping. Baseball has always been Chris’s hope for the future, but now that dream could cost him Matt’s love.

Review: Chris and Matt have been in a relationship a couple of times now. First in high school, but Matt left Chris when he wouldn’t come out. Now in college they are trying to make a go of it again. But the same issues that drove a wedge between them before are not yet resolved. Can Chris come to terms with his sexuality and be honest with his conservative family about who he really is? Or will he allow his pride and appearances to cause the man he loves to leave him alone, again.

Chris Boyden loves baseball, he loves everything about it. The rush, the feeling and the sound when he holds that bat in his hand and hits the ball. But his reasons for playing may not be all self-serving. He feels the need to provide for his family, he doesn’t want to let them down. This is a huge factor in why he hasn’t told anyone he is gay either. But the time has come to make a decision. Either Chris comes out and lives his life in the open with Matt, or he stays in the closet and looses the one thing that matters most, Matt’s love.

Matt VanderVeen has loved Chris since they were teenagers. But he wants to love him out loud. He wants to hold hands in public, kiss him whenever he wants and take vacations together. Not lie about where they are going, who they are with or what they are doing. When Chris is injured and finally comes out to his family, it would seem that Matt is getting his wish. But the regret and the backlash may be more than his lover can handle.

This book pissed me off! But not for the reason you may think. My heart broke for Chris and the struggle he was going through. The conversation with his mother in the hospital literally floored me. I wanted to reach into my kindle and strangle her! Kudos to Gormley for making the emotions and words jump off the pages and really resonate with me. Matt was as understanding as could be expected, in his situation. And it’s not often that I read a story where the character is completely honest about his feelings. Matt told Chris straight up that he loved him and he would hold on, until he couldn’t hold on anymore.

I am completely in awe of Gormley’s writing style. There is something almost animalistic in her writing that is really engaging. I can’t wait to see what she gives us next. Be sure to grab a copy of this book, it’s free right now, and then follow up with the companion novel, Saugatuck Summer.
