Review: Each book in the Rescue for Hire West collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. Rescue for Hire West is a cut off from the original Rescue For Hire stories, so I would suggest to get the full effect to start with the stories from Rescue For Hire.

When Bellann came out with her very first story for Rescue For Hire, I knew I had found an author that I would follow through it all. Her stories have this impact that just makes you wish you were right there with them. They are very entertaining with lots of action and some pretty hot scenes. The characters are fully developed and are just down right sexy.

Reese was a medic for his team. He has served in the military at one time and now worked for Rescue for Hire West. He lost his father at a young age and it impacted him for some time. Even now you can tell how it did. During a rescue he lost a young girl, but save two others. He needed a break from it all. He decides to go to the beach, but en route he is involved in a serious accident that leaves him injured.

Lee is a ex-detective who now sells hotdogs to those on the beach. When he notices a man who seemed to be able to hide from people, well it caught his attention. Especially when that man has staples in his head, and a injury to his arm and leg. He decides to step in and help, but his heart soon wins over. Then the men from Rescue for Hire West shows up, and well you will have to read the story.

I am not really sure what to think of this particular story. I didn’t really care for the ending at all, not saying I didn’t love the story because I did, but the ending was just wrong. It was like tearing a family apart to me. It made me a little depressed and not really all that in a good mood. It doesn’t mean that I can’t wait to get my hands on the next story though. It just shows that Bellann Summer definitely puts her heart and soul into her stories. Very tender and heart filled story for me. I just wished for a better ending.

I would definitely recommend this, but get the tissues out.
