Review: Kenwei’s sister was supposed to be the one mated to the lake god, so to his surprise he was the one with the dreams. He cannot bind his sister and is torn with what to do. The first pair of twins born to do a duty. A dream that leads one to their true destiny, which leads a big shock to the poor guy.
This is one of those stories about an African tribe and their traditions. I have to admit though that if it had not been such a short story I would have put it back on the shelf. It is a short story that has a lot of heat to it and is very strange to say the least.
It is well written and has a lot of depth to it which was a shock. However I am afraid that I just didn’t connect with this story nor its characters. It is a good read though and I would definitely recommend it.
