Blurb: His name was Jack. It wasn’t a famous name or an adventurous name, or even a poetic name. But to Mason Philips, it was the most beautiful name in the world, because it belonged to Jack Spencer, the man Mason had been dreaming about for the last ten years. For Mason, it had been ten years of secret yearnings, stolen glances, and forbidden fantasies because Mason was gay…and Jack was not.

Jack Spencer wanted Mason since the young man barreled into the pool and showed Jack he had grown up when Jack’s eyes were turned. But a warning from Mason’s brother sends Jack running, putting as much distance between them as he can.

When Mason decides he’s tired of waiting for Jack to see him, he packs up and readies to move on with his life. Well meaning friends drag them together with a pair of skimpy black swimming trunks, a pool party, and a lot of jealousy. But nothing comes easy for these two.

A psychotic killer has set his sights on Mason and is determined to have him, no matter who he has to take out in the process.

Review: This book was previously published with another publisher and has been extensively revised and expanded.

The first time I read this story was when it first came out quite some time ago, I was fascinated with Jack and Mason. I also got a kick out of Cooper, who had befriended Mason. This book has more added in and I have got to tell you that it has gotten even better. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

Mason has been in love with Jack for over ten years. He did everything he could to get his brothers best friend to notice him. The problem was he was pretty sure Jack was straight. Jack always brought girls to the house so it was a fair guess. So after getting the call from the bar to pick up a drunk Jack, he gets a damn good night.

Too bad Jack freaked out and puked. Mason knew then that he had to get the hell away and forget Jack. After a four-day drunk spree, he meets Coop. Coop is the detective who was handling his being missing. He met a great friend, who with his help decided to show Jack what he was missing.

Jack had made a promise to his best friend eight years ago, to stay away from Mason sexually. He has loved Mason for that long, although he did not know it was love. He should have never listened to Randy nor should he have made that stupid promise.

There was no way in hell that he could get Mason to forgive him. Then he walks in to Coop and Mason kissing. Now he has to show that he is the man for Mason. Too bad Mason has a crazy stalker trying to take him away. Now they had to protect Mason from this man.

I have always loved Stormy’s books. The characters are well written with a lot of heart and strength. I loved this one and cannot wait to get my hands on the next story. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could want in a story and so much more.

I would recommend reading this story especially if you love strong men, hot sex, action and suspense, true love and danger.
