Review: Leo was one of the lucky winners to get to go to Zata. Zata was the first alien world that Earth has ever came across. They were the ones to come to Earth just over a year ago to trade. Now they were inviting them to come visit and for a celebration. He never thought that he might be gay but I guess that changes when he finds out that he is a Zata mate.

Arex is the youngest prince of Zata. He has always wanted to find his true mate, but he never thought he would. He just hoped that one of the humans was his. He also hoped that he would have a child by his mate. Now all he has to do is to convince Leo that they were meant to be together.

I wasn’t really sure about this story not even when I read it the second time. First off the Zata’s didn’t tell the humans that the party was for mating. Second the kid didn’t even know he was gay. Third basically the little purple fruit was a drug making the kid go further then he would have normally. The world needs more building to it then just what we got. It was basically go to a planet you haven’t been on, meet the aliens, have sex then right off the bat you’re pregnant and boom you’re in love, well that just makes it weirder then it already was. This whole story was just what it seems a fantasy.

Other than those issues it would be a great book had there been more to it, and it didn’t come off as rushed by the author. I could see it being a four point five to a five heart book had it had more detail and lots more going on then what it had going on.

This was the first book by this author I have had a chance to read and I am going to check out what book two has going on before I decide if I want to pursue reading this series. So far it is an enjoyable read.
