Dylan McIntyre arrives home with fantastic news to find his lover with another man, but worse, they’ve both been brutally murdered.
After his arrest, Dylan’s one phone call is to his sister, Mariah. She contacts a lawyer for him. He is surprised to learn Silver, his new lawyer, is also a wolf shifter.

Released when his alibi checks out, he’s not allowed to go back to his apartment. Silver invites him to stay with them at Connor’s Lair. Dylan meets Tor, the local doctor, who also happens to be a vampire. He fights the feelings the man awakens within. Dylan has anger issues he must deal with, not to mention the traumatic death of the lover who betrayed him.

Review: Dylan is a white wolf shifter who has his future planned out especially after winning the lottery. Too bad his lover is in bed with another man and even worse they are dead as a door knob. In my personal feeling it is what they deserve. Dylan is arrested and needs the help of a lawyer. His sister introduces him to Silver who not only is a lawyer, but the Alpha of his pack. Although the pack is somewhat strange. The local doctor is a vampire and his mate. Too bad Dylan acts like a pissed off two-year old around the man.

Tor is not only a vampire, but one of the descendants to the Originals. Now in most lore they are born or turned, but the truth is they are from outer space. They like the wolves have problems with the rogues of their kind. He realizes Dylan is his mate, but has a feeling that it was going to take a lot of time and patience to show him that it is all good. Now all they had to do is to get the FBI to find the men’s killer and leave the paranormal world alone. They have their suspicions, but Silver will find a way to keep them all safe.

The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing, crying, loving and having fun.
