Review: Well, for one I hate it when you are left hanging. Now I will be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book to learn how the war goes on. This book was amazing. It had just the right amount of anger, pain, danger, and love. It caught my attention from the beginning and kept it all the way to the end. It amazes me that they have the ability to overcome such pain that they can learn to love again.
Storm and Heath were mates, but at one time Heath didn’t want it, as he should. So when someone tried to tell him that Storm was cheating, it gave him the excuse to abandon and hate him. The only problem was that all the evidence against Storm was lies. No matter how much pain Heath had caused, Storm watched over him kept him safe as he could. However when Heaths family came to him, it turned out it was because Heath was dying. Poisoned by his own father. The problem was to save Heath, Storm had to have sex, and love had to be open for it to work. Heath realized that he had caused Storm so much pain, that Storm would be forever gone if he didn’t fix it. They had danger coming at them from all different angles. They would do everything to keep each other safe, even if it meant death. The sex between them is hot and very tantalizing. Fae, demon and humans were involved, now all they had to do was save those who were in danger also.
This book has the right amount of danger, excitement, and sexy men. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and have you begging for more. I can’t wait to read more, because it left me hanging wondering what was going to happen next. I loved this story and will be reading it more than once. N.J. has a gift of storytelling with worlds that come alive for you and characters you will fall in love with.
