Review:  Enjoyable short story about the value of imperfections. With so many other harsh diseases out there, like cancers of all types and HIV, just to name a few, we often forget that blood sugar disorders can be as limiting and as life-threatening as many others. The hero of the story, Jerry, has lived with the limitations of this disease from childhood, and can’t see himself as attractive to anyone because of those limitations. It’s Gianni’s job to show him all of his weaknesses as well, and to teach Jerry that it’s not the perfections or imperfections of our bodies that make us special, but the places we meet each other in happiness and love that make life worth living with someone. Really well written. Another plus for Andrew
