Blurb: Raised by bear shifters, Paul has always felt out of place. As a human, he’s not allowed to play a role in the shifter community he’s been surrounded by his entire life. When his job at Bear Mountain is jeopardized, he considers leaving the only home he’s ever known to seek out the thing that’s always felt missing in his life.
Betas Brynn and Tomas awaited their human mate for many years. When an orphaned infant showed up on their doorstep, they knew the male would one day grow to be their mate. Ignoring their protective instincts, they left the valley and the male behind, knowing they couldn’t be in his life or they’d threaten the future they’d one day have together.
When the two bears finally return to find Paul a man, they know it’s time to claim what they’ve always known was theirs.

Review: This is the second book in the Bear Mountain series. Brynn and Tomas, bear shifters. Leave Bear Mountain once they discover an infant is their mate. I really felt for both these strong men. They wanted their mate to grow up and have a life without any influence from them. It must have been difficult to leave behind everything they knew.
Paul is a human who grows up never feeling like he fit in. I could completely understand his anger when the truth comes out. The devastation he must have felt was heartbreaking to read. I loved the way the story progressed in such a way that there was more to it than just a love story. There was mystery, action and adventure as it seemed the McCreary boys are starting with their trouble making ways only to discover a more diabolical intent put into motion.
The entire book had me holding my breath awaiting the outcome on different occasions as well as sitting on the edge of my seat. Well written with hot sex that adds spice to the mix. I loved it and can’t wait to see what else the author has in store for this series.
