Blurb: Cole is a nobody. A nothing. He doesn’t want to be seen. And he doesn’t want to be heard. A life of torture and abuse makes it hard, and frightening, to be noticed. He’d rather go unseen.

The dragons came and freed him, and he was happy when none wanted him for a mate, but then he came along. Evzen is a strange man. Handsome, scarred Evzen is powerful and intimidating, and yet Cole can’t stay away from him. Even though he fears the pleasure Evzen can give, he is completely under the man’s spell and at his mercy.

Evzen will teach the small shifter what it’s like to really live, because only Cole can give that to him in return. After the death of his mate, Evzen wants this second chance, though someone in his own clan is plotting against him and his new happiness, with Cole as their primary target.

Review: Evzen was the leader of the dragons that join with Seth’s dragons. He takes one look at cute Cole and pursues him but Cole is terrified of everyone after the abuse he suffered at the hands of the vampires. I liked how even though Evzen wanted Cole he took the time to ensure and do everything possible to convince Cole he was not in danger from him.

Some of Evzen’s dragons do not approve and one even attacks Cole. I felt their was a lack of communication to Cole on Evzen’s part as he should have told him not everyone was happy with them being mates. A great addition to the series.

Highly recommended.
