Blurb: Tracking down the whereabouts of a girl last seen on a cruise ship takes David Lloyd far from the streets of Toronto and thrusts high into the seedy world of human trafficking.
Last seen departing a cruise ship in Newport, Curacao, Piper Falco is never heard from again.

Though no body was found, it seemed likely the brilliant Canadian university student had met a violent end. Her father asks David to look into the case when the investigation by the local authorities, and even the RCMP and Interpol, turns cold. What David finds opens his eyes to a world far from his comfortable life in urban Toronto, a world where young girls are subjected to sexual degradation, and human lives are nothing more than currency.

Review: This is book three in this series and you need to read it in order. It will give you a way into David and Jamie. They are still going strong even with their little bits of normal struggles that come up. Not only are they together like a married couple, but Jamie is now working with David. So its David Lloyd Investigations and Jamie Brennan Legal Services. That gives David pause just a bit but it sure does come in handy when the father of a missing girl comes in.
Piper had been working on an American owned cruise line when they realized she was not on the ship when they left port. She had went into Curacao and never came back. At first, they were thinking she came across a fatal end.

When things go wrong in some foreign countries they are not looked over right. As with this particular case, the police did a shabby job looking into it. So her father had asked for more help from the local authorities and got RCMP involved. Not to mention he had managed to get Interpol into the investigation.

This was way out of David’s league and he asks his partner and lover Jamie for his help in this. It was a bit out of Jamie’s way also but he did have the legal part of the business. It helped to have someone who knew law working with him. Not to mention the little side of sexual pleasures he can get in the office.

What they find is a something that truly does happen in real life. Girls are abducted and sold into sex slavery all the time. David comes across this and does everything in his powers to find this girl. There is a lot of amazing surprises to find in this book. You will be amazed with the twist and turns to it when you read it. It will catch your attention from the start and will keep it all the way to the end. You will love this book just as I did.

I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery, two hot and sexy men, dangers coming at them from all directions, shabby local law enforcements, twist, and turns that will make your stomach tighten, and an all around amazing story. I love that even with all the seriousness that this story has, there is just a hint of humor when it comes to Jamie and David. I love the fact that he is also helping Jenny further her education and get her life all straightened out. You will fall in love with these men with every read of this series.
