Bobby Saldaña was pulled off the streets at a young age to work for Diaz Chavez. He’s wanted Dorm since first laying eyes on the man. But Dorm has made it very clear that he wants no part of Bobby—that is until all hell breaks loose and the two must run for their lives.

Deputy Ernest Varnes knew that Dorm was his mate when the agent left town two years ago. When out on patrol, Ernest discovers Dorm and another man sleeping in a car behind Lassiter’s clothing store.

But their troubles have just begun. Not only has a shadow god marked Bobby, but also Bobby fights the mating tooth and nail, putting himself and the others in danger.

Review: This is part of the Zeus’s Pack series and they need to be read in order. Each story is intertwined with each other, but focuses on a new romantic couple. It gives you an insight into their amazing world and lives. I always love Lynn’s books. She gives you characters that you will fall in love, cheer on in their conquest, want to fight besides them when defending their mates and well the true reason is that she gives you sexy men every time. I grew up reading m/f romance stories and it wasn’t till about two years ago when I started reading gay romance. I have got to tell you that I enjoy them more and Lynn has been one of the reasons for that. She gives you such a great story line that involves love, a bit of pain, some danger, and a lot of excitement.

Dorm is an undercover federal agent and has been stuck with the drug cartel for over two years. He has made his way up in ranks and just wanted the job over with. He had been attracted to Bobby but didn’t want to get set up. Being gay in the mob was a sure way of getting killed. However, when the perfect time to arrest everyone goes bad, he grabs Bobby and runs to the one place he knows might be safe.

Bobby was taken off the streets and put into the cartel as a foot soldier. He never wanted to be one but didn’t know how to get out. The one time he makes a move on Dorm ended with being turned down. However, he senses that, the man his boss was to meet was not who he really was has him scared, then grabbed by the one man he wanted he was frightened and pissed. Then he finds out the truth about Dorm and now he just wants to run. Then he meets Ernest and realizes he has two mates and they are both cops. Talk about a joke in the making.

Ernest knew for over two years that Dorm was his human mate, but what he had not expected was to find out that he had two. Bobby was a cute cat shifter with an amazing and tough attitude. Now he just had to find out how to make his mates see that they were meant to be. Well that and stay alive from a god from hell wanting Bobby dead. What could possibly go wrong?

You don’t get two sexy men but three in this amazing story and there is nothing better than that. You get feisty attitudes, hellhounds, lots of danger, near death experiences and some hot sex with these three gorgeous men. I loved the amount of danger that comes in this story. It made it even better for me.

I loved the way the characters just seem to mix with each other. That is actually a joke, because these three are at each other’s throats fighting their fears, well two of them are any way. Poor Ernest is just hanging on for life. Bobby comes off more real than anyone else. He thinks no one would want him because of the things he was forced to do. What he doesn’t understand is the past is exactly that the past. He is tender but full of anger and fear. He thinks that no one should want him. Bobby is perfect to his mates and they know that with their love and support that he will soon learn to trust them.

I would recommend reading this book to everyone who loves the paranormal world, dies to get their hands on shifters and vampires, love the protective side that they have for their mates, the excitement, action, and dangerous situations. This story, as most of Lynn’s books captured my attention the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything that I could possibly want in a story and I cannot wait to read the next one in this amazing series.
