Review: Each book in the collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. This particular story is also tied to the Wolves of Stone Ridge. Kontra’s Menagerie, and A Paranormal’s Love series. I would start with the Wolves of Stone Ridge series and go from there if you want the full impact.
Iago was led to believe that all paranormal’s were selfish. He couldn’t believe that they never would help the human’s with healing or shifter abilities. He had always been told this but never once expected it to be lies. That was until he found out that he was a mate but the fear was still there.
Lindemere was a demon for Horseman of Death. After one thousand years he was granted a gift. A gift of a mate, although he might want to rethink it. He had to find away to get his mate to understand their ways. Although he had not expected to fall into a trap meant for another to find that mate. Life has a funny way of working out.
I have loved this author’s work ever since her first book came out. However I did have a bit of trouble getting into this story. It just felt off a bit and I never did figure out why. I also am not a fan of the way the stories in, there is so much more that could be added to them to make them truly stand out. Other than that they are a fun way of making the day go by faster.
I enjoyed reading this story and would definitely recommend it. I can also guarantee that these books are books that can and will be read many times over.
