Blurb: Hero and criminal. Brute force and subtle charm. Jonathan White and Crow Belcane are polar opposites, but if they want to rescue the man they both love, they’ll have to work together.

After visiting his former lover, Crow knows only one thing: he loves Regis and he will do anything to reclaim him. But before his very eyes, Regis is abducted. Kidnapped by high-end slavers. Only Regis’s infuriating partner, Jonathan—a dangerous vigilante—is willing to help.

To infiltrate the slave ring, Jonathan and Crow disguise themselves as master and pet. As a slave, Crow is pushed to his limit. He’s chained, branded, whipped, and forced to obey Jonathan’s every order. But the longer he spends at Jonathan’s feet, the more natural his disguise begins to feel—and the more he likes it. As much as he hates Jonathan, they make a good team.

Both of them are devoted to Regis. Despite the overwhelming attraction between them, Jonathan is unwilling to betray his partner, and Crow is unwilling to come between them. But once the three of them are together again, all bets are off. With the world against them, they have only each other to cling to.

Review: I actually had to read this twice because at first it came off as a bit wrong to me, but the second time my eyes were more open and I had so much fun with these guys. Although I must admit Crow was about to get on my nerves. Not to mention Regis needs to be smacked quite a bit. Now I can see why Crow was being an ass.

When I first saw the cover to this book I had thought that it was an M/F romance, because the guy really looked like a girl and I was about to put the book back. But then realized who it was and let’s just say things went better after that. Now the blurb just doesn’t do the story justice and was a bit off, however the story was rocking.

Once I started reading, for the second time I came to the conclusion that the characters and plot were well detailed and pretty flush. I loved the bit of humor in it a bit more.

This is one of those stories that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole book. At first I thought that I was going to have to smack Crow for being such a jerk, but he turned around quite a bit. Crow is a bit insecure in my eyes. He thinks that no one can love him because of the fact that his mom had created him from a crow. However he is definitely wrong about that.

Whereas Regis is the one that I really wanted to smack. Here are two great guys coming to save his ass and he acts like a selfish little boy. It felt like he was just using Crow and basically says as much. He could have been better in this story that is my opinion.

Now Jonathan is in love with both men, and goes out of his way to save Regis. He even tries to deny his feelings for Crow, at least to himself.

Now the buildup was intense and let’s just say hot, but the guys didn’t really go the way I had wanted. Their feelings come out in this story but I felt more for Crow then the others in this one. In this book there was great potential to be a hot story but it doesn’t end the way I felt it should have.

I hope that the next book has the three coming together because damn there is some heat there.

I was expecting more threesome action, but I am afraid that Regis was the downer in this book. I am afraid that I did not connect well with him, so I do hope that the next book fixes that.

I look forward to seeing what goes on later.
