Review: This was a nice little story about Aaron, a fire captain, and Zak, an artist. The men are already in a partnership that was described in a very appealing way. I liked the fact that these guys were so playful with each other even as they were together for a long time.
Their everyday life was quite normal, but the occasional charity event made for some fun and teasing. One such even was the car wash the fire department pulled for homeless kids. Now, the visual effect of said scene was hot. I sat there reading and re-reading this particular scene daydreaming and well, letting my imagination roam wild.
I, however, was not the only one affected, as the characters took advantage of the heat accumulating and next thing I’m aware of is this really hot bedroom scene were all the teasing of the day is let loose in a very erotic scene.
But, despite the short length, this read was not all fun and games. A fireman’s job has its bad days and a graphically detailed accident scene brought us back to reality and how ugly it can sometimes be. If only we all had a solid relationship like Aaron and Zak.
I liked this story a lot. As said above, it was fun, it was erotic, and it had a dose of reality in it that appeals to me. This ends up being a very enjoyable comfort read. Recommended!
