Blurb: Ten years ago, the Great Unveiling revealed the presence of supernatural beings living on Earth. But the residents of the ruined city discovered in Majlis al-Jinn are long dead—or so junior archaeologist Pip Butler thought until he accidentally unleashed a very naked genie named Jinn.

Even though he’s been shyly pining for his charismatic supervisor, Val Velde, Pip has a hard time refusing Jinn’s flirtatious advances. He barely has time to even consider the fact that he has an all-powerful genie and three glorious wishes at his fingertips when ruthless mercenaries sweep down on the dig to collect the most valuable artifact of all—Jinn’s lamp.

So Pip, Val, and Jinn have to work together in a race against the clock to discover the secrets of the ancient city, free their captive colleagues, and keep Jinn from the mercenaries’ clutches—all while trying to sort out their romantic tangle.

Review: Pip (Philip) and Val are archaeologists who are at the site of Majlis al-Jinn, a ruined city that became visible with the Great Unveiling. They make a discovery that forces them both to admit their feelings to each other, but it also puts them in grave danger. With the help of the Genie Jinn they face a danger untold, while running for their lives and discover that there is room enough for three in their relationship.

I loved this storyline; discovering a Genie’s lamp, having unscrupulous men wanting the lamp at any costs, discovering love and escaping from ancient traps. Pip and Val have been work colleagues for a year, both secretly wanting the other. When they discover a lamp at the archaeology site it forces them to confront their feelings for each other. Jinn is the Genie tied to the lam., he becomes enamored with the kind and lovely Pip and fiercely attracted to the charming and gorgeous Val, and just when things start to become interesting three are put in danger.

I really enjoyed this story and especially loved the hidden traps and rooms in Majlis al-Jinn city. Watching Val, Pip and Jinn having to put their differences to the side and work together to solve the problems was really good. The characters were really good and each one had something special about them although Pip seemed a bit of a push over.  He should have confronted Val, instead of leaving it to Jinn. and Val was too quick to be offended about secrets being kept from him, especially considering the doozy of a secret he was keeping.

The storyline moved smoothly and was filled with a good dose of action and adventure; I liked the interaction between the three MCs and they had great potential. Now and this is where I was left feeling let down and cheated… the last 50 pages, it was mainly page filler, I was so disappointed. We have Jinn, Val and Pip naked and ready to give us some spectacular sex but they kept interrupting it to talk about other stuff and it put me right off… I couldn’t see how any person could interrupt some hot sex that they desperately wanted to talk. It was frustrating. When they did eventually get down to being down and dirty it was really hot and they were really spectacular together.

So I will recommend this to those who love the paranormal, Indiana Jones type adventure, three hot smoking men, some hot sex and a happy ending.
