His only choice for escape without shaming his entire family would be to take a mate with one of the dragons on the mountain.

Aiken never wanted to be mated again. After watching his previous mate be tortured and killed right in front of him, he never wants to tie himself to another ever again.

When the high dragon comes to him and asks him this favor, he cannot refuse.

At the sight of his future mate being sexually harassed by another, however, Aiken’s protective instincts come roaring back to life. Kyle belongs to him and no one else. Aiken wants to prove that to the wolf in bed, if only he can overcome the feeling that he’s betraying his former lover.

Review: This is book seven in the Of Dragons and Wolves series and they need to be read in order. Most of the characters are mentioned a bit in the previous books and it also gives you an insight into their world. A world that will fascinate you and have you falling in love. This story will make you cry just a little bit. I love the way the characters just mix with the right amount of chemistry and passion. They also have a bit of attitude.

Kyle is a wolf shifter whose family had decided that some of the brothers needed to mate with the dragon shifters for peace. His younger brothers were happily mated to them already. Even though he agreed, he still didn’t like it. Not the idea of mating but the fact that it wasn’t really a choice. He had been sexually harassed by an elder and he wanted it stopped.

The problem was nothing could be done otherwise it would make his father look weak or not in control of his sons. He was afraid of what his mate would be like, but when he got a look not only was he liking what he saw but of what his attitude would be like. Aiken surprised him all the way around.

Aiken didn’t mind the fact that he was protecting Kyle, but he felt like he was betraying his mate that had died. He also thought he was betraying Kyle by still loving Alex. However when these two do get to the hot stuff it sets the bed sheets on fire.

I loved this book and cannot wait to read the next book. It gave me everything I could want in a story. Hot and sexy men, wolf shifters, dragon shifters, feisty mates, strong dragons, passion and fire, excitement and dangerous situations. It gave me that and a lot more.

I would recommend reading this book especially if the idea of two very head strong men fall in love.
