Tristan has never been what someone would call a social guy. Like the alligator, he shares his spirit with, he prefers being alone. Now, after enduring decades of forced isolation as an animal attraction in a curiosity show, Tristan is even more reclusive than ever. He lives mainly in animal form, swimming in the large pond on the gargoyle’s estate.

When he helps kidnap his abuser, Bud Wallice, Tristan decides interrogating the bastard is a great reason to finally interact with others.

Eventually, Bud is reported missing by his wife, and the trail leads to the gargoyle’s estate. Tristan meets Detective Collin DeSoto, who is looking into the disappearance. Tristan immediately recognizes the man as his mate, and while the sex between them is explosive, that’s the only easy thing between them. Collin isn’t out to his incredibly large family, and he doesn’t approve of how Tristan handles Bud.

Can the pair resolve their differences, or will Tristan end up returning to his pond…alone?

Review: Each book in A Paranormal’s Love collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. I love the way Charlie can put together a book that not only fascinates you but draws you in. I had a blast reading this and look forward to reading more by Charlie.

There is something about the way that Charlie tells a story that will not only draw you in and keep your attention the whole time, but it will more than likely have you laughing your ass off. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect the ones they love with all that they have. I had a blast reading this story.

Tristan is an albino alligator and had been held captive for some time in a freak circus. He had been kicked out by his family and his alpha for being albino. It wasn’t until they were saved that he got to actually live his life. He wanted to help bring those that wanted to capture, torture, use or kill. His job was not hard, get Bud to give him the answers to his questions. He knew someone would start asking questions about him, but he had not known that the gorgeous detective asking questions was to be his mate.

Collin knew all about shifters, vampires, and gargoyles. He was told to find out the answers about the man missing, but he also knew he could not give them the truth. He had to protect the paranormal world. He had not expected to come across a gorgeous man telling him that he was his mate.

The problem was he was not out, so he had to decide what he truly wanted. And he definitely wanted Tristan.

The dangers were out there, now they just had to protect those they love. When Collin and Tristan get together, it is so damn hot. I have always loved a good paranormal, and Charlie sure can give you some amazing shifter types. I think that this is one of the first books that I have read about an albino alligator. I had a blast reading it that is for sure.

I absolutely love this book almost as much as I have loved the others in this series. I can’t wait to read the next story. When Charlie puts out a book, I am usually there to eat them up. They do have a bit of a serious tone to them but there is a just a touch of humor in them that I love. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It also gave me everything I could want in a book

. I would definitely recommend reading this book. Trust me it will keep you laughing and loving.
