Blurb: Henry Dalton is sent across the country by train to the western town of Woolridge in order to investigate the werewolf problem they’re having during the monthly moon cycle. The townsfolk are not forthcoming with information, making it difficult for Henry to solve the case.

Even more distracting is Jack, a handsome older lycanthrope. Known for his rebellious youth, Jack has settled down into life and routine in Woolridge, working as the local blacksmith. He assures Henry he’s no longer trying to stir up trouble, that those days are long gone. Henry must attempt to ignore the spark between them, the indication of their potential to become mates, which is rare because Henry is human.

Henry remains professional and focuses on his job, but each meeting with Jack adds to the draw, and Henry isn’t sure how much longer he’ll be able to resist.

Review: This is part of the 2015 Daily Dose Delivery Package-

There’s something to be said for maturity and experience, whether it’s a second chance at love, a May/December romance, or finding a soul mate later in life. These stories prove that it’s never too late for new love.

Never Too Late. At first I was a bit leery of the story itself. I am not one for short stories. You never really get enough to sink your teeth into. This was an intriguing story and even though it is a paranormal, it is told in the western way.

Henry was sent by the government to find a rogue. What he found was his mate. A werewolf that had once been a leader but now followed the rules to a point. Jack has found his mate once more, but more goes on then everyone knows.

I do hope that this will be expanded into a longer story with more to it later on. It was a great start but only gave me a taste, did not really fulfill my wants. It is a cute and very sexy little story though. It was not my type of story though. I am more for the present tense and even future ones, but not much for the past stories.
