Review: Each book in the Black Hills Wolves collection features a different romantic couple. However they can be read as a standalone. This is in fact book seventeen and most of them are by different authors. As far as I could tell this is the first m/m one. There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved.

This is the first story by this author that I have read and it was pretty good. Although I must admit at first I thought I was missing something but once I started reading I figured it out really fast. To be perfectly honest, I was afraid I would have to read the others and since they were with girly parts I definitely was not interested in them. I do hope that this author keeps writing more m/m stories because she has a great way of doing it.

I was caught with the first chapter and it kept my attention to the end. I was a bit disappointed that it was not longer. I would have loved to hear more about these two men and the pack.

Mike and Damien were mates, although Mike had no idea. In fact he had not known that his man was in fact a wolf shifter. So when he was trying to figure out what happened to a few men that went missing, he was given the proof of the shifters. Not that he believed them but Damien showed him soon after. He also had a problem with trust. He didn’t believe that Damien could love him, until he thought he was going to die. Things heat up pretty fast in this story.

I thought that it was a really great story if not told with the right timing. It seemed just a bit rushed to me, but it didn’t take away from the story itself.

I had a blast reading it and would recommend it to everyone. I mean a sexy wolf shifter, a gorgeous man who carries a gun, excitement, suspense and danger what else could be better.
