Review: I have read a few stories by this author and I am afraid that I haven’t really been impressed yet. The idea is perfect but the follow thru always misses the right steps. This story however was pretty good in many spots but it comes off a bit winded and off to me. It also comes off a bit rushed to me, but it was still fun to read.

First off the cover was great and the blurb was pretty good also. However it didn’t really pull me in like it should have and I pretty much skipped over parts of the story. Even skipping over sections it felt like I hadn’t which tells me that there was too much extra in the story that could have been left out.

Novablast is a mutant and handles fire. If he can join his fire into others then he can put out the flames. Then he meets Ursa who is another hero. Ursa is a shadow hero from what I gather. They hook up, fight the bad guys and get each other. When a villain from the past shows up it will take the whole crew to get rid of her.

I am sorry, but this story was not for me. It was cute, but way off the right sound. It just didn’t flow with me and I was not as entertained as I should have been. It was just missing the right part to have made it better.

However like I said before it is a fun little story and has great potential if the follow thru was a bit more set.
