Blurb: I’m Tyler Lindsey, and until recently, I had an okay apartment, an okay girlfriend, and an okay job as a bellboy at a respectable Boston hotel. Then rock star Chris Raiden died right before I brought his room service—stiffing me on the tip, by the way—and my life went to hell. My fifteen minutes of fame was more like five seconds, and my girlfriend left me in disgust.

But even worse—Chris is haunting me. Not the room where he died, like a normal ghost. No, somehow he’s stuck to me and is insisting on taking care of a bunch of unfinished business in California. So now I have to traipse across the country with the world’s most narcissistic ghost.

But . . . I keep having these weird thoughts. Thoughts about how much I like the way he makes me laugh. Thoughts where I kind of want to kiss the emo-narcissist, even though he’s a ghost and an asshole and I can’t touch him anyway. And even if I could, what will happen when he finishes his business and nothing’s keeping him here anymore?

Review: Lauren Sattersby is a new author for me so I was a bit leery of reading this story. It doesn’t help that the blurb mentioned a female so I was definitely thinking of just skipping this story.

The real reason I grabbed it was because of the title and the fact that it was a paranormal story. However I had not read the blurb. So when I saw that Tyler had a girlfriend I was a bit lost. I am not one for stories that have females of any kind in them other than moms.
However I found out that they broke up because Tyler had not gotten what she wanted.

His fifteen minutes of fame or his chance to meet the rock star went bad when Chris died five minutes after they met. To top it off the poor dead guy is stalking the Tyler.

Now you have a guy who was straight, having fantasies about the dead ghost who is sticking around. However Chris is an ass but Tyler still wants him. Which is a bit strange since the guy is dead, so I couldn’t figure out how that was going to happen.

Then when it does, it is so damn hot. I have to say that the girlfriend was a major bitch and I am glad was not with him for very long. I would have loved to smack Chris upside the head for the way he died. Such a stupid fool he was.

However there is quite a bit of humor that made it enjoyable. I don’t much care for ghost stories especially love stories, they don’t really make any sense and still don’t. For a beginning story for this author I have to say she came up with a hit. Although I didn’t really care for either character though. Chris is an ass who died from drugs, whereas Tyler was only with his girlfriend because she was good in bed. Neither hit a chord with me. However after a while you kind of get attached to them.

I spent most of the time laughing and the ending was not bad either. Ok I admit the ending was so damn cute and I had so much fun reading this story. The twist got me, although I can say that this will probably be the only story that I will read that involves a ghost.

It was a hit for me and I can’t wait to see what other stories this author comes up with.
