Nexus, the Regulus of his clan, has been given a deadline to find a mate or be challenged for his position. Desperate, he turns to Cupid and the Cherry Matchmaking Agency to do so. He’s already had to kill one close friend for the title he now holds, and he doesn’t want to have to kill another.

Roy and Nexus’s life together gets off to a rocky start that isn’t getting smoother anytime soon. Someone is plotting to remove Nexus from power, and they plan to use Roy and their unborn babies as leverage to do so. Review: Roy was given a choice death or mating a jaguar shifter. Talk about a bizarre dream, oh wait it wasn’t a dream. He had been in an accident that left him in a coma, and then Cupid meets him in limbo. It would seem being in the between, human and a virgin was actually getting him somewhere. To bad his first sight of his soon to be mate, well lets just say it didn’t go to well.

Nexus is the Regulus of his clan, a leader of his people and in deep trouble. To avoid a challenge and killing his uncles, he has to find a mate. First time meeting didn’t go to well, but damn if the sexy man didn’t turn him on. But their mating is going to be a danger as well, for his family is, well you will just have to wait and see. Trust me it is going to get real interesting.

I have not read too many books by this author, but if I had to pick one that I really like the most, this book would be it. I have came across a few series that followed this pattern, but this author puts in a little twist to it. I have to say that this was quite unique and very quirky. As with most first books, it does have a little bit of stiffness to it, but I hope it was just this book. It caught my attention from the start and kept it all the way to the end. I really liked Roy quite a bit. He is a quirky, snarky and a lot of fun to read about. Nexus is basically a big ass alpha but he also comes off very soft towards his little mate. I think their personalities worked perfectly for this story.

After reading this story it makes me want to go check the rest of her books out. I enjoyed reading it and can not wait to get my hands on the next book. I had a lot of fun reading it and can guarantee that you will too.
