Blurb: Having lost his human mate over 700 years before, Phrenzy had given up hope his lover would be reincarnated and returned to him.

He’d failed to protect his Drakon’s mate, so destiny seemed willing to punish him forevermore without his as well. After finally earning Rhaege’s trust again, he’s photographed mid-shift, and pictures of him as human and as dragon surface, putting the entire race at risk. Charged with finding the photographer and having him recant, Phrenzy rushes to stop the potential firestorm the pictures could cause.

Photojournalist Diego Guerra has stood on the sidelines of life, a witness to the world around him. Dreams of dragons and a dragon lover have haunted him for years, making him withdraw from others. When he sees the powerful man shift into a dragon, he knows he’s crazy, but photographs the scene in hopes he’s not—especially considering his deep attraction to his subject.

Can Phrenzy tempt his photojournalist to step from behind the lens and enjoy a rich life shared with him, or will the evil that threatens both the dragon and human worlds end their chances?

Review: Each book in the Fire Dragon’s collection features a different romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

There is nothing better than a good paranormal romance with two gorgeous men involved. This is the second book written by Kelex that I have read and I have got to tell you that it was just as fascinating as the first one. The world she has written about fascinated me and had me wishing to be there also.

These dragons went through so much to get where they are now. Now I must admit that I was not happy about the ending. Most people think that if they leave a cliff hanger than the person reading will want the next book, and that doesn’t normally work for me. I would just throw the book to the side and find one that works for me. That is not the case with this one.

Phrenzy not only failed to keep his Drakon’s mate safe, but after Rhaege lost his second reincarnated mate, Phrenzy’s mate also dies. He has watched Rhaege loose over seven mates by the present time, and his mate had not been reincarnated in over seven hundred years. He fears that his failure has made fate not give him his back. That is until his picture in midshift shows up in the paper. The little photographer just happens to be his. Phrenzy is a very big dragon with an attitude. He comes off a bit cross and always pissed off.

Diego has always dreamed of dragons since he was a child. He wanted to know if what he sees is true. So when an ice wall is found after a fire, he heads to see what it is. He made it just in time to see the men shift into dragons and managed to get it on film. Too bad his conscience bugs him about handing it over. He knows that if he goes back to tell the public that it was all fake he would more than likely lose his job. However when he finds out that the dragon he caught on tape was his mate, he knew what he had to do.

These are amazing stories but there is a bit of darkness that comes off with them. It doesn’t take away from the story but it is still there.

I can’t wait to read the next story. I can tell that from now on every book Kelex writes, I will more than likely be grabbing them up.

The world this author has written about fascinated me and had me wishing to be there also. These dragons went through so much to get where they are now. Now I must admit that I was not happy about the ending. With book two I just thought it would be the lead into the next story but it wasn’t. In fact the beginning to this story was a bit off to me. It was a tad bit confusing.

I think of all the dragons and their mates Khaos is probably my favorite. All of them have gone through pain. Rhaege has the one where his mate dies several times before finally reunited for life. Phrenzy is the one that comes off more pissed than anything and fears that the reason for his mate’s reincarnated self not coming till now is because of his failure. Khaos’s lost his mate to suicide. Khaos had killed Henry’s family and then Henry committed suicide. There is a twist to this one though. It is a fascinating tale, but with each story there is something missing. Not that it took away from the story itself.

Henry and his family have died many times over and unlike the others they were born with the same name and same look. His father and brother were born with the same attitude and hate. Except this time Henry will not deny Khaos. He is more than willing to love his dragon.

These are amazing stories but there is a bit of darkness that comes off with them. It doesn’t take away from the story but it is still there.

There is something about the way that Kelex told this story that not only drew me in but I could not take my attention off of it. The characters are beautifully written with big hearts, however if you cross them, they have no problem putting you down. They will protect their mates with their entire lives. I had a blast reading this story.
