Review: Following Adrian and Ric from high school to adulthood, seeing how their paths intersected when a small kindness made a huge difference in their lives. I enjoyed this aspect of the story very much. This ties nicely in with the two previous books in the series.

Once Marty is introduced we get a picture of not just a closeted man, but someone in denial with a true fear of accepting who he is. When Marty and Adrian realize who they are to each other it gets wild, emotional, and challenging for both parties. Adrian finds out just how easy it is to take the low road when you’re hurt by someone, how easy it is to hurt back and how badly it made him feel.

It was fun and fascinating to read the story through “Adrienne’s” view as she puts on her makeup takes the stage, and how her persona changes as she transitions back to Adrian.

Joel Leslie did a fabulous job of narration. His different voices for each character, even those for Adrian/Adrienne were unique and smooth.

When Ric and Marty to finally reconcile and come together its hot and it’s passionate. Great read, heart-warming, funny at times, heart-breaking at others. Great series!

Blurb: Blake Davis and husband Will are delighted when Ed Fellows turns up at the hospital the night their daughter is born—even if he is covered in mud from playing rugby and drunk out of his skull. Teammate Colin is the Good Samaritan who drives him there, and when Colin takes Ed home, Colin finds himself on the receiving end of a blowjob. He has no problem with that whatsoever. He’s been in lust with Ed since Ed joined the rugby team some fourteen months ago. Only thing is, Colin’s assumed up until now that Ed is straight. Except the man sucking him off certainly didn’t seem straight….

Talk about the morning after the night before…. Ed awakens to find a nearly naked Colin asleep on his sofa. The problem is that for some reason, he can’t get Colin out of his mind. Okay, so it wasn’t the first blow-job Ed’s ever gotten from a guy—or given, for that matter—but that was a long time ago, right? And why does Ed now want more?

With friends Rick, Angelo, Blake and Will to advise him, Ed finds himself on a completely unfamiliar road, as he struggles to accept that maybe the line he is walking isn’t as straight as he’d first imagined….

Review: Ed Fellows has been Blake Davis’ best friend since school, and now he’s his right hand at the publishing company Blake runs. He’s watched his friend find love with Will, get married and start a family with the birth of their baby daughter, Sophie. As well, their co-worker and friend Rick found love with Angelo. Ed sometimes wonders if he’ll ever get his happily ever after, he’s yet to meet the right gal. Blake’s husband Will may have hit the nail on the head though when he suggested Ed try batting for his own team.

Colin plays Rugby with Ed and has been lusting after him since about five minutes after they met the first time. But Colin has resigned himself to quick glances in the shower after a match knowing full well that Ed is straight. Until he drives Ed home one drunken night and they share a mutual, oral release at Ed’s urging. Ed doesn’t want to think about the implications of what they did last night, but he can’t stop thinking about Colin. With Blake out of contact on paternity leave, Ed turns to Rick and Angelo for advice, and starts to realize that liking Colin isn’t such a bad thing after all.

Ed shocks Colin by calling him and asking him to meet for a drink. He shocks the hell out of him admitting that he’s attracted to him and asking him out on a date. But Ed still has issues with anyone else knowing and he almost screws it all up before it really gets started. And as if his personal turmoil wasn’t enough to deal with, Blake’s ex fiancé shows up at the office asking for a job.

This has become one of my favourite series. I love when an author can weave together the stories and lives of multiple characters, and keep the stories flowing and cohesive. Blake and Will, Rick and Angelo aren’t the focal point of this story, but we get to see where they are in their lives right now as well. And Blake and Angelo both drop a couple of bombshells on us there at the end. I’m excited to see where this series goes after those little morsels.

This is book 3 in a series that should be read in order to fully understand and appreciate all the characters and storylines. If you are a romantic at heart but you like a little meat behind your stories and some sexy, steamy guy on guy action, give KC Wells a go!

Review:  Short, Sexy, and Steamy… my three favorite colors!!

Will and Blake are happily married for going on six years, and expecting their first child via a surrogate. For Will’s birthday Blake manages to get him out of the flat long enough to set up his surprise, neither one is aware that the day has even more surprises in store for them.

Blake has a special birthday dinner planned for Will, and Will is the main course! Blake nibbles, licks and devours more than just champagne, chocolate, and strawberries on their new four-poster bed in this sexy little dish of a story. Exhausted and happily spent, the hubbies drift off only to be woken by a frantic call from their surrogate. And baby makes three!

It seemed like I devoured this delicious treat in five minutes flat! The story flowed so well and fit perfectly into the world Wells has created with the Personal series. A lot of times, readers are left wondering what happens exactly with our favorite couples after ‘The End’. Well, Wells has given us a peak into Will and Blake’s life six years later and they are still very much in love, and lust with each other.

You have to read this book, but you have to read the first two books in the series first, Making It Personal and Personal Changes.

Blurb: Rick Wentworth has had enough of one-night stands and quickies in clubs. It takes a night of uncharacteristic hedonism to make Rick admit what he really wants – someone to love him. But for that to happen, he needs to make some changes. Rick can do that. After all, what’s the alternative? And when he meets a guy who ticks all his boxes, he can’t believe his luck. His boss Blake Davis, and Blake’s fiancé Will Parkinson, however, aren’t convinced. They want to know more about Mr. Perfect, and their instincts are keener than Rick’s. Both men want to protect him. As it turns out, they needn’t have worried. Rick has a guardian angel…

When Angelo Tarallo sees Rick for the first time, it’s a match made in Heaven, as far as he’s concerned. And when he rescues Rick from danger, it gives him the opportunity to get to know the man who has captivated him. Before long, it’s plain to both men that this could lead somewhere. But when Angelo’s traditional Sicilian family finally discover what he’s been hiding from them for so long, an ultimatum spells heartache for the lovers – and worse.

Review:  This is the second book in a series and though it can be read alone, you may want to read Making it Personal first to better understand some secondary characters within this book.

Rick Wentworth loves his job at Trinity Publishing. It’s his love life that leaves a little something to be desired. After his most recent night out that ended with an oh so sexy three-way, he reevaluates his priorities and decides to stop the clubbing and never-ending string of one night stands. He sees the way Blake (his boss) and Will (his best friend) look at each other and he wants what they have. So the next guy he meets that he has a connection with he decides to take things painfully slow. Too bad he turns out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Angelo Tarallo comes from a traditional large Italian family and his upbringing was strict and proper; in other words, he has morals and values. From the first time he sees Rick at the club, he is mesmerized. When Rick is in trouble one night, Angelo comes to the rescue and the two become fast friends. Neither man is willing to give up their heart easily though, so they slowly build a relationship that is based on trust and mutual attraction. But right as their slow burn is igniting, something happens to stifle the flames.

This story was all about choices, changes, and the lasting effect they have on people. Rick chooses to change not only his lifestyle, but also his way of thinking and he’s truly happier for it. But when Angelo allows his traditional family and their archaic way of thinking to make his choices for him, it just might destroy both their lives. I loved how Angelo made it his mission to court Rick. And how their backgrounds, that were as alike as they were different, defined the men they became.

A little something happened at the end of the story, a complete 360 that was slightly unrealistic to me, so I marked off a little for that. But overall, this was an engrossing read all about being the person YOU want to be. There was some pretty hot sex peppered in there as well! The threesome was hot, the Skype scene was scorching, and their first time was amazing!! But there is a solid storyline to wrap it all up in a nice little bow. Did you need to wonder? Yes, this is a must read.

Blurb:   Blake Davis is in the closet. And he’s going to stay that way. Because if his father finds out he’s gay, Blake could lose everything he’s worked so hard to achieve during the last six years as CEO of Trinity Publishing, the fastest rising star in the publishing firmament. Not that coming out wouldn’t solve a couple of problems. Maybe then his father would stop trying to set him up with yet another empty-headed, social-climbing girlfriend. And better still, Blake could stop using that escort agency when he wants a night of hot sex with a cute guy…

Will Parkinson has had a tough life so far, but he’s back on his feet. Okay, so he’s working as an escort – with ‘benefits’– to pay off his student loans, but that does have its advantages, such as the really hot guy who hired him. Yeah, Blake rocked his world last night – several times. So imagine how Will feels when he arrives to be interviewed for his dream job as PA in a publishing company, and the guy who’s hiring is… Blake.

And then things get really complicated….

Review:  Blake Davis is the super successful and super sexy CEO of his father’s publishing house. He’s worked hard to get where he is, but he refuses to be honest with his father about his sexual orientation for fear of losing not only his job but his father’s respect as well. In an attempt to keep his private life a secret, Blake uses an exclusive escort agency that adheres to the utmost discretion. Blake never expected to walk into work and find the delicious escort that rocked his world and curled his toes the night before, interviewing for his current PA position.

Will Parkinson came out to his family when he was a teenager and the result was disastrous. The very thing Blake fears most is what Will had to suffer before he was even an adult. The job with the escort agency is simply a means to an end, so when he comes face to face with his client from the previous night while interviewing for the job he really wants, he’s certain he won’t be getting the position. When Blake calls and offers him the job he’s pleasantly surprised. The two make a strong effort to keep things strictly professional, but soon they are having some mind-blowing, set the office on fire HOT sex on Blake’s desk! When Blake’s “beard”, a spoiled rich bitch socialite discovers their secret, she will do anything and destroy anyone to tear them apart and keep Blake for herself. Will Blake find a way to keep the man he’s falling in love with? Or will the secrets he hides and the fear of ‘what if’ lead him down the wrong path.

I was hooked by the end of the first chapter. The story flowed well with three-dimensional characters, rich secondary characters, and an intriguing storyline that covered the ML’s past, present and future. Blake and Will have their share of highs and lows as they build their relationship and learn what trust, love and perseverance are all about. Hopeless romantics will love this story, I sure did! There is some steamy, sweaty sex and a glorious HEA!!
