Review: Each book in the Last Drgons collection features a new romantic couple. To enjoy the overall story arc and crossover characters, I would recommend reading the series in sequential order.

River and Blake had become friends when they had been children and now they have reconnected. Blakes dragon is having a difficult time and River’s ex seems to just want to cause trouble.

No surprises in this story and very predictable outcomes. It was pretty much like the previous books so it was a bit on the boring side. There had been a chance at making it a hot read but it failed to deliver. What danger there was, well it was dealt with in just a few seconds so there was no fun there either. I am afraid that this book was just to dull to really enjoy fully. I hate to admit that I just don’t see myself reading any more books by this author.

James wanted his best friend back. They had been from the same wolf pack but when Ben left his life got even worse. He was bullied and well you get the picture. So when he went to see Ben he hadn’t expected a big bronze dragon sitting on his car. Turns out Zane is his mate, things might be looking up.

Short and sweet, well I wouldn’t exactly say sweet but still a nice story. It is a bit dull and boring but for such a short story it had a lot to tell. Quite a bit of different things were thrown in to make it seem a bit longer, excitement, adventure and a touch of danger added in with a bit of sexy time.

I can’t say that it would ever be one of my favorite type of stories but it is entertaining. It is pretty good for when your just wanting to take a break. Now I am off to read the next book in this series.

Second chance at love are pretty unique especially when it comes to Will and Jax. Jax was the lucky winner to get not only his dragon side but a wolf side as well. To bad they warred with each other at the wrong times. After he hurt his mate he took off to try to learn how to tame his two sides. Forced to come home because his asshat of a father died, he realizes he wants his mate.

Will left shortly after Jax did and made his way to the city. All was good until he not only lost his job but dumped his cheating boyfriend, who just so happened to be a shifter as well. Will however was human, but grew up around dragon shifters. He has always wanted Jax but you never just drop your pants for your flame.

It is a story that has a dark tone to it but has a bit of humor mixed in. It doesn’t really flow as easy as it should but is still a pretty good read. I can honestly say I would read this book more than once.

There is nothing better than a good old dragon shifter who needs his butt kicked from time to time.

Review: Ben is a very submissive wolf and has been kicked down by pretty much the whole pack. Oh there were a few that he got along with, although mostly other submissive’s. He really was a bit terrified of those around him, but they were still his family. So when another pack came at them, he tried to do something. He just hadn’t expected to get kidnapped right from the whole thing by a hugh dragon. A dragon that should not exist.

Cole is the oldest from his siblings and the last one that had taken off when his father went crazy. He knew that if he had left earlier the pack down on the hill would have been dead. Now he was back in the one place he hated, to say goodbye to his dead father. To his surprise he hears a call that calls to him stronger than any other, and it leads him to his mate.

This story is quite active and danger surrounds them all. I have always loved dragons and don’t come across them as much as I would like. This story has great potential but comes off a bit stiff. It was hard to connect with the characters, but I am hoping that is just because this story is the first one in this series. It felt rushed and was missing quite a bit that would have made it stand out to me.

I do look forward to the next book.
