Blurb: A marked man enters The Service wanting adventure and to find love and is assigned to a famous football player infamous for his partying.

Brand is right-out-of-school young when he enters The Service, maybe too young. He is assigned to Mike Dobrogost, a cocky NFL football player with the New England Patriots. Gost, as everyone calls his new Master, is famous for his partying and sexual exploitation. Not exactly the Master that Brand had hoped for—one that would worship him and one with whom he might fall in love.

Further complicating matters is that Gost is already used to having a Servant, because Brand is not the only Servant in his employ.

Review: It’s Brand’s first assignment in the service and he’s given to Mike Dobrogost, Gost. An NFL football player with the New England Patriots who already has another servant named Mark. Mike seems very immature and loves to party. Brand takes it all in stride and does what he’s told.

I didn’t like the fact that Mike shares Brand with other players without asking if he’s o.k. with it. After all he’s Mike’s servant not everyone else’s. Mark and Brand seemed to hit off well, which was a good thing in my opinion. The story has a lot of sex in it with different people.

Brand gets to go to every game with his Master and also has to participate with the other servants. Although well written I think half the book is sex scenes. I would have preferred more story than sex scenes myself.

It was an o.k. read.

Blurb: In this world populated only by men, Brand is the uncommon man who is sexually attracted to them, which comes in handy when he is delivered to his new Master in a cage.

Brand is a marked man in a world of unmarked men. The mark identifies him as someone who is eligible to go into Service. He has been ready for this opportunity for years and thinks it will never happen. Brand moves on with his life until he receives a call from a Master, Trent Parks. He turns out to be a well-known professional baseball player and unlike anyone Brand has ever met. There is an age difference that Brand has to negotiate, being the older one, as well as the dangers of being with a famous person. Brand discovers, much to his surprise, that not only does he like Trent as a Master, but also he is falling in love with him.

Review: Brand, a servant, seemed like a very sincere and honest man. Trent, a baseball player, seemed insecure at times but strong and sure at other times. They made a great couple, seemed to get along well, and had many things in common with each other.

I was highly upset by things that happened to Brand against his will by others. I felt it was wrong and demeaning. But was glad that Trent took charge of the situation and brought those to justice who were involved.

This was not a type of book I normally read, as I prefer more story than sex. But it was an o.k. story. I didn’t really care for Trent sharing Brand with others but that was what the author wanted.
This book had a lot of hot sex scenes in it with Trent and Brand as well as others having sex with Brand. A lot more than I was used to. It felt like half the book was sex scenes. Good read.
