Blurb: Karlan Rixx is the epitome of the playboy rocker. Sexy and gorgeous, with the feral edge of a werewolf. And Trent Savage has been in love with him for years. The trouble is, K has a new woman in his bed every night, so he’s straight as they come. Unable to bear it anymore, Sav makes plans to leave the band, even though it will break his heart in the process. But anything’s better than seeing the man he loves—his mate—and not being able to touch. Ever.

K loves being a Lyric Hound. The only time he truly feels alive is on stage, a guitar in his hand and the beat of Sav’s drums flowing through his veins. He may be a womanizer, but it’s the other wolf who makes his heart pound and his body ache. But before K can admit his feelings, Sav leaves the band, ripping his world apart.

Enter Madame Eve. Can she find K’s lost mate?

Review: The best stories are the ones that end up surprising you the most. When I got this book, I was sure that it was just a normal, kinky band playing paranormal romance, but it turned out to be so much more. The heartache, tenderness, and pain that come through are felt all the way through a person. The ability to overcome that all of it and turn it into something so much more worthy. It shows the love one feels will win in the end.

Karlan and Trent had been friends and packmates since the day that K and his family had saved Sav from a trailer fire that had killed Sav’s mother. K was a wonderful and amazing guitar player and Sav was the drum player. They were also mates, although neither acted on it. Well Sav had thought that K was not only straight but had not wanted him. What he hadn’t realized is that the fire had destroyed K’s smelling. Sav had decided to leave the band and give K what he thought he wanted. They were both alpha’s but Sav was more dominate then K. They have the love for each other. They just had to figure it out. When they do, the sex is hot and full of passion. You can’t help but cheer them on.

The story is amazing I just wished it were longer. I wish it had more description to it and more of a background into each other. It left me a bit confused, but I actually liked it more than I thought I would. To go through life always wanting something or someone, and feeling like it is slipping through your fingers and wanting to grab on and just hold tight. To feel so strongly about someone that you put their feelings ahead of yours is an amazing gift, even if it hurts you more than, as if you are stabbed thru the heart. That is the way you see this story after reading it. You also cheer when love is welcomed, when the man gets his mate. I would definitely be reading this again, and hope that this is just the beginning to this wonderful book.
