Blurb: Things are moving forward for Pax – at about 35 miles per day, actually. Their new tour may be unorthodox and their sleeping quarters less than glamorous, but they do have fans, tucked away in the backwaters of England. Besides, there are whispers about bigger gigs, interest from abroad, maybe even another album.

But there’s something wrong with Jamie. Michael doesn’t want to believe it, but on the eve of their big break, the truth can’t stay hidden anymore.

Will it destroy everything, or will Jamie make it through his Purgatory in time?

Review: I have to admit that this is the second book I have read by this author and am surprised with it. She has a unique way of telling a story that will pull you in and keep your attention. I think my main problems are that they are told in a way that really confuses me more than actually enjoying the story. Whether it is the old tone to them, or the cultural differences or who knows what they just don’t really keep my attention like they should.

This one was a bit different than many stories that I have read and I was pleased. I would suggest reading the first book because I am afraid that since I had not, I was a bit lost with this particular story. It is a fun story though. The characters were well written and fully developed however the story just seemed to drag on for me.

Pax is on tour in England and are playing different types of venues. The problem is there are a lot of people who hate the fact that they have gay members and are getting a hassle for it. Jamie is drinking more and is having trouble with bad news about his mom. He is going downhill fast and Michael can’t seem to help him.

It seems to focus a lot on addiction and depression that will pull at your heart-strings. I do know I wouldn’t want to go through what these guys seem to go through. It just seems that there were missing parts in one section and too much on another. I just couldn’t get into this story like I should have.

I have to admit that I picked it up and would start, then put it right back down. It didn’t catch my attention like it should have and definitely didn’t keep it. I just could not seem to get into the story. It has a lot of potential but is not for me. It just didn’t feel as in-depth as it should have and didn’t rock with me.

I would recommend it though, if you like a bit of a historical story, which is how it came off to me. However my problem was that I had not read the first two stories so I wasn’t caught up in it to begin with.

It is an entertaining story, but not for me.
